Another rumor
Another rumor surrounding Halo: Combat Evolved argues that the rebranding of 343 Industries to Halo Studios has allowed the studio to have more creativity letting them dive deeper into hopping onto the more powerful Unreal Engine 5.
This rumor states the studio is looking to produce renders where they would utilize the more primary elements of gameplay featured in the original Halo: Combat Evolved.

Besides the tips offered by Rebs Gaming, information shared by them suggest something else entirely. An unused code that mentions Ekur corresponds to a new halo project that a certain affinity is looking to work on.
Exciting news for fans of the legendary franchise who were eagerly waiting on the announcement of a remake work which seems to be already finished. It would be comforting to see Halo Studios give a statement confirming the project.
He asserts that Ekur has been under development since 2022 and even has specific testing servers that became operational in June 2024.
Taking all of this into account, Rebs Gaming seems to believe that Ekur may be launched prior to the release of the remaster of Halo: Combat Evolved. Like all leaks, this claim is difficult to verify and should be treated with skepticism until verified reports are made.
