Oblivion Remastered: How to Complete Namira’s Quest and Get the Ring of Namira

Want to earn the Ring of Namira in Oblivion Remastered? Here’s how to lower your Personality, complete Namira’s Daedric quest, and claim a powerful reward.
Oblivion Remastered: How to Complete Namira’s Quest and Get the Ring of Namira
Namira might be the goddess of all things gross and repulsive, but don’t let that scare you off. In Oblivion Remastered, you can use her just as much as she’s trying to use you. Her quest is surprisingly easy, and the reward—the Ring of Namira—is totally worth it for players who want a big boost in defense.
If you want to experience everything Cyrodiil has to offer (and maybe get a little grimy along the way), here’s exactly how to find Namira’s Shrine, start her quest, and walk away with a new piece of badass jewelry.
Where to Find Namira’s Shrine
You’ll find the Shrine of Namira east of Bruma, just north of the Silver Road. It’s a short trip from town, so getting there isn’t the problem.
The real trick? Meeting Namira’s requirements.
You need to be at least Level 5 and have a Personality score below 20 to start the quest.

How to Lower Personality in Oblivion Remastered
If your Personality is too high (which it probably will be), you’ll need to drop it temporarily.
The easiest way:
- Drink Cheap Wine — Each bottle drops your Personality by 10 points for 2 minutes.
- Stack multiple bottles if you need a bigger drop.
Where to find Cheap Wine easily:
- Go to the Great Chapel of Talos in Bruma.
- Head downstairs into the Chamber Hall.
- There’s a wine rack packed with Cheap Wine. (You’ll have to steal it, but nobody’s watching too closely.)
Once you’ve grabbed a few bottles, head back to Namira’s Shrine, drink the wine, and immediately talk to Namira before the timer runs out.
After the quest starts, you won’t have to worry about your Personality stat anymore.

How to Use Namira’s Shroud on the Priests of Arkay
Namira’s quest sends you to Anga, a temple just south of her shrine. Your mission: use the Namira’s Shroud spell on four Priests of Arkay inside.
Important:
- Do NOT attack the Priests yourself.
- ONLY use the Namira’s Shroud Target spell.
(Attacking them manually will fail the quest.)
Here’s how it plays out:
- The Shroud costs 67 Magicka to cast. Make sure you bring Magicka potions or wear some Magicka-boosting gear if needed.
- Sneak up to each Priest, use the Shroud spell, and then step back.
- Namira’s Followers will appear and do the dirty work for you.
Follow your quest markers to track each Priest down—they’ll be wandering around inside Anga.
How to Get the Ring of Namira
Once all four Priests are dead, head back to Namira’s Shrine.
Talk to Namira again (your Personality stat doesn’t matter anymore), and she’ll reward you with the Ring of Namira.
Ring of Namira Effects:
- Reflect Damage on Self (12%) – Some of the damage you take bounces back at your attacker.
- Reflect Spell on Self (10%) – 10% chance that incoming spells will bounce back onto the caster.
Pretty awesome for tanky characters, melee brawlers, or anyone who just wants enemies to suffer for daring to touch you.
Namira might love her gross followers, but you don’t have to join them fully to get something great out of it. The Ring of Namira is one of the best Daedric rewards for defensive builds in Oblivion Remastered, and the quest itself is easy and fast once you know how to drop your Personality stat.
Go snag that ring—and let your enemies regret ever laying a hand on you. 🛡️💥
