Starting a family in InZOI is a major part of the life sim experience. Watching your Zoi’s baby grow up from a tiny newborn to a curious toddler is super rewarding. But if you’re wondering how to actually feed your little one, here’s what you need to know.

Can You Feed Newborn Babies in InZOI?
Nope, newborns can’t be fed in the current version of InZOI. But don’t panic—they won’t starve. Their hunger need is basically nonexistent at this stage.
The only real task you have as a parent of a newborn is to check their temperature when needed.
Good news? Babies only stay newborns for one in-game day, then they’ll automatically age up to the toddler stage—and that’s when feeding becomes a thing.
How to Feed Toddlers in InZOI
Once your Zoi’s child becomes a toddler, it’s time to break out the bottles! There are a few ways to handle feeding, and it’s all pretty straightforward.
🍼 Option 1: Play as the Parent Zoi
- Click on the toddler.
- Look for the ‘Parenting’ interaction—sometimes it shows up directly, or you may have to expand the list.
- Select ‘Give Formula’.
- Your Zoi will walk over and give the toddler a bottle.
✅ You don’t need to buy or prep formula—super convenient!
🍼 Option 2: Play as the Toddler
If you’re controlling the toddler instead, you’ve got a few ways to ask for food (as long as an adult or nanny is nearby):
- Open the Needs tab, click on Hunger, and it will generate an action to ask for food.
- Click on a parent or nanny, then choose ‘Ask for food’.
- Click on the toddler themself, and you’ll also find an ‘Ask for food’ option there.
Just keep in mind, if the adult is already busy or mid-task, it might take them a while—unless you switch over and cancel their current actions.
🧹 Don’t Forget to Clean Up!
After feeding, you might see empty formula bottles lying around. Make sure to click on them to clean up. You’ll need a trash bin nearby for the cleanup option to appear.
