Are you guys facing Fortnite Error Code 0? Know how to fix it.
If you are running into Error Code 0 while trying to use the locker in Fortnite, you are not alone. Players started reporting this issue on March 19, and it seems to be affecting multiple platforms, including PC, PlayStation, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch.
This is not the first time Error Code 0 has shown up in Fortnite. In the past, it actually stopped people from launching the game at all. But this time itโs messing with the locker, making some players load into matches with default skins instead of their selected outfits. The error message mentions that โsome locker servicesโ are temporarily disabled but the good news is fixing it is pretty simple.

The easiest way to get around this issue is to close and relaunch the game. Thatโs what worked for me on PS5, and other players have said the same. If that doesnโt do the trick, try restarting your entire systemโthatโs helped some people get their locker back to normal.
Epic Games hasnโt made an official statement on the cause of the problem yet, but considering all the recent locker UI updates, itโs not a huge surprise that things are a little buggy. They made some big changes to the locker in December 2023, and then tweaked the Quest UI and Emote Wheel in early 2025. Itโs possible all the updates are causing issues in the background.
For now, restarting the game seems to be the best fix. Hopefully, Epic drops a patch soon.
