Dune: Awakening dives deep into the legendary world of Arrakis, staying true to the Dune lore while mixing in survival mechanics and a massive MMO experience.
But this isn’t the story you know — it’s set in an alternate timeline where Paul Atreides never existed, and the Fremen have mysteriously vanished.
Now, it’s up to you to brave the brutal desert, dodge deadly sandworms, and survive vicious Coriolis storms — all while managing your thirst and building shelter.
To celebrate the game’s launch, Funcom has teamed up with Twitch to drop some freebies your way. That’s right — Twitch Drops are live, and you can score exclusive Observer building pieces just by tuning in. Here’s how to grab yours before time runs out.

How To Get Dune: Awakening Twitch Drops
The Twitch Drops campaign runs from June 5th to June 24th, 2025, and includes three unique items that’ll give your base a solid head start. These Observer-themed building pieces unlock early in the game and help you shape your base exactly how you want it.

Here’s what you need to do:
- Link Your Accounts:
Head to the official Dune: Awakening website. Click the “Login with Steam” button and follow the steps to connect your Steam and Twitch accounts to your Dune account. - Watch Eligible Streams:
On Twitch, find streamers playing Dune: Awakening. Look for the “Drops Enabled” tag — it’s usually under the stream title or mentioned in the stream itself. - Earn and Claim Your Drops:
Watch a participating stream for the required amount of time. Twitch will notify you once a drop is earned. Then just head to the Twitch Drops Inventory page, click on “Inventory”, and claim your rewards.
Heads-up: It might take a few hours for your items to show up in-game. Be patient!
