Treasure Grove & Goddess Fruit Guide in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time
One of the coolest features in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is the Treasure Grove — a dungeon-style challenge where you complete various levels to progress. To get started, you’ll need a special item that comes from Ginormosia.
Why Treasure Groves Are Worth Your Time
Treasure Groves are packed with rewards, and the best part? You can keep planting more saplings after you finish one, so the challenges (and loot) never really stop. It’s a great way to farm goodies while diving deeper into the game’s world — and even its past.
How To Plant a Treasure Grove Sapling

To plant a Treasure Grove Sapling, you’ll first need to get one — either from a traveling merchant or by defeating a Mimic in Ginormosia.
Merchants show up randomly, but Mimics are scattered all around the area. Just a heads-up: they try to run when they see you, so be ready to chase them down.
Once you’ve got a Sapling, head back to Base Camp. You’ll get a quick tutorial there on how to use it.
Then go to the northwestern corner of the camp and plant your Sapling to grow your very own Treasure Grove. Each time you enter and beat stages, you’ll travel further into the past — starting in the present and moving up to 100 years back.
Exploring the Treasure Grove

Each grove has its own route and timeline. Every “year” you go back contains different stages, and you can either clear them all or choose your path to the final boss. Just note: if you skip stages and beat the boss, the skipped ones are gone for good.
The stages themselves can involve anything — combat, farming, mining, woodcutting — so you’ll want to level up your Lives accordingly. If you hit a wall, don’t stress. You can back out, grab a Buddy at camp, and jump back into the same stage.
Beating the final boss lets you plant a new Sapling and either start fresh or continue from the year you left off. It’s a clever mechanic that blends progression with storytelling.
What To Do With Goddess Fruit

Once you beat a Treasure Grove and take down the boss, you’ll earn a Goddess Fruit. These act as a special currency at Marco’s Shop — specifically the Fruit Exchange section — where you can snag rare items and recipes.
Want even more Goddess Fruits? Try tackling a Treasure Grove with friends. It’s more fun, and you’ll get extra fruits for doing it together.
