    • Grand Theft Auto 6 launches on November 19, 2026, for PS5 — one of the most anticipated game releases in history.
    • GTA 6 is a PS5 and Xbox Series X/S exclusive at launch with no confirmed PC release date.
    • Six notable PS5 games are releasing in November 2026 in total.
    • Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered launches November 3, alongside the new Godzilla film.
    • Zero Parades: Director’s Cut and Shrek 2: Remastered round out the early November lineup.
    • GTA 5 is being pulled from PS Plus Extra and Premium on November 17, two days before GTA 6 drops.

Let’s be real — November 2026 has one name written all over it, and that name is Grand Theft Auto 6. The most anticipated game in history finally has a confirmed landing date, and it’s coming in hot on November 19 with the kind of hype that hasn’t existed around a video game release in a very long time. But GTA 6 isn’t the only thing hitting PS5 this month. There’s actually a decent spread of other releases keeping things interesting in the weeks leading up to the big drop. Here’s everything you need to know.

Not the most packed November in recent memory, but honestly — when GTA 6 is on the list, you don’t really need much else. Let’s break down what each of these actually is.

Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered — November 3

Starting the month off with an absolute nostalgia bomb. Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee was originally an OG Xbox fighting game that pitted Godzilla and the franchise’s roster of iconic kaiju against each other in arena brawls — think Power Stone meets Godzilla, and you’re in the right ballpark. It was a cult hit in its day, and the PS5 remastered version is bringing it back with enhanced visuals and presumably some quality-of-life improvements.

The timing here is no accident either. The remaster is dropping the same week as the new Godzilla: Minus Zero film, which means if you’re a Godzilla fan, the first week of November is about to be a very good time. Play the game, watch the movie, stomp some cities. Living the dream.

    Zero Parades: Director’s Cut — November 3

Dropping on the same day as the Godzilla remaster, Zero Parades: Director’s Cut is the long-awaited PS5 version of what has been described as a Disco Elysium-style RPG. If you’re familiar with Disco Elysium — the critically acclaimed narrative RPG where dialogue, character build, and stat checks drive almost everything — then you already know the kind of experience Zero Parades is aiming for.

The Director’s Cut label suggests this is the definitive version of the game, likely with additional content, refined writing, and fixes addressing whatever feedback the original release received. For players who love dialogue-heavy, character-driven RPGs that actually challenge you to think, this is the stealth pick of November that deserves serious attention even with GTA 6 sucking all the oxygen out of the room.

    Void/Breaker — November 4

One day after Zero Parades, Void/Breaker makes its 1.0 debut on PS5. This one has been through early access on PC and built up a genuinely strong reputation during that period — it’s a roguelite first-person shooter, which is a combination that sounds simple but has an enormous amount of depth ceiling when done well.

The early access community reception has been positive enough that the 1.0 launch is generating real interest. Roguelite FPS games live and die on how satisfying the gunplay feels and how well the run structure encourages repeated attempts — and from what early access players have said, Void/Breaker nails both. This one could quietly become the hidden gem of November for players who need something to play while counting down the days to GTA 6.

    DreamWorks Shrek 2: Remastered — November 10

The Shrek 2 game was genuinely great back in the day and is significantly more beloved than most people probably remember. It was a 4-player local co-op adventure game based on the Shrek 2 film, where you could play as Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, Puss in Boots, and other characters from the movie across levels that captured the humor and energy of the film surprisingly well.

The remastered version is bringing that experience back with updated visuals and the full 4-player local co-op still intact — which in an era where local multiplayer has become increasingly rare, is actually a bigger selling point than it might sound. If you’ve got friends or family who remember this one from the PS2/GameCube era, the nostalgia factor alone is going to hit hard. And honestly, the game holds up better than you’d expect even without the nostalgia goggles on.

    Barbie Rewind — November 12

Barbie Rewind is a collection of classic Barbie games, targeting players who grew up with those titles in the early 2000s. That’s a specific but very real audience, and the nostalgia well for classic Barbie games runs deep for a lot of people who remember spending hours with them as kids.

It’s landing a week before GTA 6, which is either perfect timing — giving Barbie fans their own gaming moment before the cultural juggernaut lands — or deeply funny scheduling depending on how you look at it. Either way, if vintage Barbie games are your thing, this collection is exactly what it sounds like and it’s landing in your hands on November 12.

    GTA 6

    Grand Theft Auto 6 — November 19

There’s very little left to say about GTA 6 that hasn’t already been said a thousand times. This is the game. The one Rockstar has been building toward since GTA 5 launched in 2013. The one that’s been delayed twice — first from a Fall 2025 window to May 26, 2026, then again to the current November 19 date. The one that has literally moved PS5 consoles off shelves on the strength of its announcement alone.

GTA 6 is set in Vice City and the wider state of Leonida, and launches exclusively on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S with no PC release date confirmed at launch. Rockstar is keeping the PC crowd waiting, as is tradition. If you were holding out hope for a day-one PC release, that’s not happening this year.

Worth noting: GTA 5 is being pulled from PS Plus Extra and Premium on November 17 — two days before GTA 6 launches. Sony is clearly making space. If you’ve been meaning to revisit GTA 5 through PS Plus before it leaves, you’ve got a small window left.

The global launch for GTA 6 is staggered — New Zealand gets it first at midnight on November 19 local time, meaning players willing to do the region trick can technically start playing as early as the evening of November 18 in North America. Whether you’re doing that or waiting for your local midnight, November 19 is the date circled on every gamer’s calendar this month.

Which November PS5 Game Should You Pick Up First?

If you’re a Soulslike or roguelite player, Void/Breaker on November 4 is genuinely worth your time while you wait for GTA 6. If you’re a narrative RPG person, Zero Parades: Director’s Cut on November 3 could be a ten-plus hour journey that slots in perfectly between now and the 19th. And if you’ve got a crew to play with locally, Shrek 2 Remastered on November 10 is exactly the kind of local co-op gaming moment that doesn’t happen nearly often enough anymore.

But let’s be honest. November 2026 belongs to GTA 6. Everything else is just the warm-up act.

With a month this stacked on the gaming calendar, it’s also a good time to clear your backlog of headlines — including the news about Call of Duty MW4’s Itaewon footage controversy and the November 12 patch that’s removing it, and the absolutely wild story of EA shutting down BioWare to make Star Wars Battlefront 3 that broke earlier this week. And if you haven’t tried it yet, Crimson Desert’s free five-hour trial is still live on PS5 for PlayStation Plus Premium and Deluxe subscribers right now — perfect timing before GTA 6 takes over your life entirely.
