    phoenix blox fruits

Phoenix Fruit Blox Fruits is one of the most unique Legendary fruits in the entire game. It is a Legendary Beast-type fruit that lets you transform into a blue and yellow phoenix, deal fire-based damage, and — most importantly — heal yourself and your teammates during combat. No other fruit in its rarity class does what Phoenix does. If you want a fruit that makes you nearly impossible to kill and invaluable to your raid team, this is it.

You can try it right now at Blox Fruits on Roblox. If you want to compare Phoenix against every other option, our Blox Fruits tier list breaks down all the rankings clearly.

What Is Phoenix Fruit in Blox Fruits?

Phoenix Fruit is a Legendary Beast-type Blox Fruit (previously called “Bird: Phoenix”) that lets you harness the power of the immortal firebird. You can manipulate blue and yellow flames to attack enemies, heal allies, and transform into a full phoenix for flight, reduced damage, and enhanced moves.

What makes Phoenix truly stand out is its healing mechanic. When you activate Regeneration Flames or transform into phoenix form, you restore health for both yourself and nearby allies. This makes Phoenix the go-to support fruit for group raids and sea events, especially in the Third Sea where boss AoE moves can wipe entire teams.

Phoenix was historically one of the most overpowered fruits in the game and still holds a strong A-tier position in the 2026 meta thanks to its rework, which significantly boosted its damage output on top of the already excellent sustain.

For comparison with other high-damage Legendary and Rare options, check our guides on Magma Fruit and Shadow Fruit — both excellent alternatives depending on your preferred playstyle.

Phoenix Fruit Blox Fruits – Price and How to Get It

Phoenix Fruit is bought from the Blox Fruit Dealer NPC. It appears in the rotating stock regularly but gets snatched fast due to high demand.

    • Beli Cost: 1,800,000 Beli
    • Robux Cost: 2,000 Robux (Permanent Fruits menu)
    • Gacha: Can be rolled from the Blox Fruit Gacha at Legendary-tier rates
    • World Spawn: Can appear as a random spawn under trees on any island

Phoenix and Portal share the same 2,000 Robux price, but they are not the same Beli value — Portal costs 1,900,000 Beli while Phoenix is 1,800,000. If you are short on Beli, grab some free Blox Fruits codes for XP boosts and Beli to close the gap faster.

Phoenix Fruit Type and Key Stats

    • Type: Beast (Zoan)
    • Rarity: Legendary
    • Former Name: Bird: Phoenix
    • Stat Scaling: Blox Fruit stat for damage; Melee stat boosts energy pool
    • Awakening Title: “The Phoenix” (#041)
    • Special Requirement: 400 Mastery on Phoenix to unlock the raid chip yourself

    Phoenix Fruit Passives

Phoenix gives you two passive abilities that are always active while the fruit is equipped:

    • Phoenix Flames and Feathers: While in hybrid or full phoenix transformation, you passively regenerate health over time. This regeneration also extends to nearby allies, making you a walking healer in group content. In full transformation, you also gain a 15% damage reduction from all sources.
    • Feathers’ Immortality (Transformation Mechanic): Phoenix is the only fruit in Blox Fruits that can end its transformation without a fury meter draining to zero. Instead, your transformation automatically ends if your HP or energy drops below 33%. If you die or reset while transformed, you revert to human form before death — unlike other Beast fruits where you die in beast form.

Pro Tip – AFK Farming with Swift Flight: Awakened Swift Flight (F) combined with the Phoenix Flames healing passive lets you hover above enemy groups and deal continuous tick damage while simultaneously healing yourself. This makes Phoenix excellent for semi-AFK grinding money or mastery on lower-level NPCs in the Second and Third Sea.

Phoenix Fruit Blox Fruits – Full Unawakened Moveset

    KeyMove NameMasteryWhat It Does
ZCannon1Charges up fiery energy and fires it forward as a powerful mid-range punch with solid knockback. Range increases as the move progresses. In full transformation, this becomes an AoE attack that fires three blue fire projectiles simultaneously.
XRegeneration Flames90Surrounds the user with blue and yellow flames that heal both the user and nearby allies (and enemies) in an AoE. Consumes energy very rapidly — energy drain is percentage-based on your total energy pool. In transformation the AoE range expands significantly. Holding this move is a good way to earn the “Empty Vessel” title.
CFast Kick160Dashes forward and delivers a swift kick in the direction you are facing. One of the shortest cooldowns of any move on this fruit. Stays the same whether transformed or not.
VFull Transformation250Fully transforms into a blue and yellow phoenix. Drains 10 energy per second. Press V again to revert. Grants 15% damage reduction and flight. Ends automatically if HP or energy drops below 33%. Enhances Z move into a three-projectile AoE burst. Cannot use F Hybrid Flight while fully transformed.
FHybrid Flight30Transforms into hybrid phoenix form and flies by holding F. Steerable with movement keys. Drips blue and yellow flames below while hovering, dealing light tick damage to enemies underneath. Cannot be used while in Full Transformation (V).

Phoenix Fruit Blox Fruits – Full Awakened Moveset

    KeyAwakened NameMasteryFragment CostKey Upgrades
M1Awakened M1 (Click)14,000Unlocks phoenix-enhanced basic attack. Dashes toward the cursor and stuns every enemy along the path. Active in both human and hybrid form. A major combo starter in PvP.
ZCremation Cannon1500Launches a barrage of flames toward the cursor that detonate on impact and leave a fiery trail dealing continuous tick damage to anyone who walks through it. Upgrades the single-punch blast into a multi-hit burn zone.
XBlue Flames903,000Wraps the user in a protective bubble of blue flame that heals over time and also damages nearby enemies. The bubble acts as a barrier that repels nearby objects. Allies within range receive healing. Can be used with the unawakened Full Transformation (V), though it slightly slows movement speed.
CFlame Exodus1604,000Propels forward in a flame fissure, lifts the enemy with a phoenix flame tornado, then slams them into the ground. Deals roughly 5,000 damage to NPCs and about 3,000 to players, plus burn damage. Strong finisher in PvP combos.
FSwift Flight302,000Upgraded version of Hybrid Flight. Deals damage to anything beneath you while flying. Can be used to damage Sea Beasts and Leviathan while other players focus on their attacks. Ideal for AFK grinding and sea event chip damage.

Note on Awakening Order: Phoenix has an extra move compared to most fruits — the Awakened M1 (Click) is an additional awakening slot unique to Phoenix, which is why it costs 18,500 total Fragments rather than the standard 14,500.

Awakening Phoenix Fruit – Full Fragment Cost Breakdown

Phoenix has a unique awakening method compared to all other fruits. You must reach 400 Mastery on Phoenix before you can buy the raid chip yourself. No other fruit in the game has this requirement.

    • Z (Cannon → Cremation Cannon): 500 Fragments
    • F (Hybrid Flight → Swift Flight): 2,000 Fragments
    • X (Regeneration Flames → Blue Flames): 3,000 Fragments
    • C (Fast Kick → Flame Exodus): 4,000 Fragments
    • M1 (Click → Awakened M1): 4,000 Fragments
    • V (Full Transformation — already powerful unawakened, no separate awakening)
    • Total: 18,500 Fragments

Best Awakening Order for Phoenix: Awaken Z (500 Fragments) first for the Cremation Cannon burn trail — immediate improvement to grinding and sea event DPS. Then go F (2,000 Fragments) for Swift Flight’s damaging hover, which is the core AFK farming and Sea Event move. Next, awaken X (3,000 Fragments) to upgrade your healing bubble into the defensive Blue Flames barrier. Save M1 and C for last, as they are more PvP-focused.

How to Awaken Phoenix Fruit – Step by Step

    1. Reach 400 Mastery on Phoenix. This is a requirement unique to Phoenix — no other fruit needs this level of mastery before the raid chip becomes available to you. Grind NPCs across the Second and Third Sea to build mastery quickly.
    2. Go to the Sea of Treats (Third Sea). Find the Sick Scientist NPC near the back of Candy Land.
    3. Heal the Sick Scientist using your Phoenix Regeneration Flames (X). This interaction unlocks the Phoenix Raid Chip purchase permanently — even if you switch to another fruit later, you can still buy the chip.
    4. Buy the Phoenix Raid Chip for 1,000 Fragments or trade a physical fruit worth 1,000,000+ Beli. There is a 2-hour cooldown on Fragment purchases.
    5. Complete the Phoenix Raid. The raid is based on Marine Fortress. Note: Sea Beasts spawn on islands 4 and 5 — they are optional but dangerous. Buddha or Yeti are recommended against them. They despawn if you move 20–30 seconds away from the island.
    6. Spend your Fragments on awakened moves at the Mysterious Scientist NPC in the Second Sea (Hot and Cold Island) or Third Sea (Castle on the Sea).

Important shortcut: If you have not yet reached 400 Mastery on Phoenix, you can still join another player’s hosted Phoenix raid and awaken moves. You do not need personal 400 Mastery to participate in someone else’s raid — only to host your own.

Phoenix Fruit Blox Fruits – Trade Value (2026)

Phoenix holds strong and consistent trading value as one of the most demanded Legendary fruits in the game.

    • Physical Value: ~2.75M (ranking around #61 out of 82 total items on community value trackers)
    • Permanent Value: ~1.40 Billion — significantly higher than the 2,000 Robux dealer price suggests in terms of community trading demand
    • Tier Rank: T3 on most trading tier lists — above Magma, below Dragon-tier fruits
    • Demand: Very high and consistent — Phoenix is one of the most actively traded fruits in the community

Phoenix is considered a “liquid” trading fruit — you can almost always find a trade for it, making it a great fruit to hold when saving toward something bigger like Dragon or Kitsune. Pair it with a Rubber or Spring for trades stepping up into higher-tier fruits.

Phoenix Fruit – Pros and Cons

    Pros

    • Only fruit in Blox Fruits that heals nearby teammates — irreplaceable raid support utility
    • Transformation gives 15% damage reduction from all sources
    • Full phoenix transformation grants powerful flight and enhanced move hitboxes
    • Awakened Swift Flight (F) allows continuous damage while hovering — excellent for AFK farming and Sea Events
    • Awakened Blue Flames (X) provides a protective healing bubble that also damages enemies
    • Great survivability — the passive regen makes you very hard to kill in extended fights
    • Awakened M1 (Click) is a strong PvP combo starter with a dash and stun
    • High trade value — one of the most actively sought-after Legendary fruits
    • Can damage Sea Beasts and Leviathan with Swift Flight even when other players are handling them
    • Post-rework damage output is significantly higher than the old version

    Cons

    • Requires 400 Mastery to host raids — unique burden no other fruit has
    • Heavy energy consumption — transformation drains 10 energy per second, Regeneration Flames drains energy at ~606 units per second
    • Only 2 core damage moves (Z and C) in unawakened form — limited offensive toolkit until awakened
    • Moves can be hard to land precisely in PvP
    • Not the best choice for solo grinding without awakening — unawakened form is weak for raw NPC damage
    • Unawakened Phoenix is not recommended for Sea Events — only Z and C can damage them in V1 form
    • Awakened X (Blue Flames) heals enemies too if they are nearby — a liability in PvP scenarios
    • Transformation ends if HP or energy drops below 33% — energy management is critical
    • Full awakening costs 18,500 Fragments — more expensive than most other awakenable fruits

Best Stat Build for Phoenix Fruit Blox Fruits

Stat Point Formula for Phoenix: Phoenix damage scales with the Blox Fruit stat. However, because Phoenix uses energy heavily — especially in transformation and with the X move — you also want to invest some points in Melee to boost your energy pool. A solid endgame split is 2,000 Fruit + 1,500 Defense + 500–1,000 Melee. The Melee investment is not for melee damage — it is purely for energy capacity to sustain your transformation longer and spam Regeneration Flames more.

    • Fruit Stat: 2,000 to 2,500 — primary damage source for all moves
    • Defense: 1,000 to 1,500 — essential for surviving longer while transformed
    • Melee: 500 to 1,000 — increases energy pool to sustain transformation and heavy X move use
    • Sword / Gun: Only if running a specific hybrid build

    Best Accessories for Phoenix Fruit

    • Choppa (Santa Hat): Boosts Fruit damage directly. Good for increasing the damage of Cremation Cannon and Flame Exodus in both PvE and PvP.
    • Leviathan Crown: Adds HP regeneration, damage to Sea Events, and extra Instinct dodge. An outstanding pick for Phoenix players who spend time at sea event content, synergising with Phoenix’s natural healing sustain.
    • Pale Scarf: Extra energy and Instinct dodge charges. Given how energy-hungry Phoenix is, the energy pool boost helps sustain longer transformations.
    • Lei: Boosts HP regeneration. Pairs extremely well with Phoenix’s native healing for even faster health recovery between fights.
    • Swan Glasses: Flat +8% damage, defense, and cooldown reduction. A reliable all-around accessory while farming better drops.

Best Fighting Style for Phoenix Fruit

Phoenix’s moves are not heavily combo-oriented on their own, so a strong fighting style fills the gap in close-range burst damage:

    • Electric Claw (Third Sea): The standard endgame pairing. Fast, versatile, and extends combos after Flame Exodus or the awakened M1 dash stun. Works well with Phoenix’s mid-range playstyle.
    • Godhuman (Third Sea): Best endgame fighting style for PvP. Adds heavy burst that Phoenix alone lacks in head-to-head duels. The combination of Godhuman’s range and Phoenix’s sustain creates a strong balanced build.
    • Dragon Talon (Third Sea): High damage, good AoE. Complements Phoenix’s relatively limited damage output with extra close-range burst.
    • Sharkman Karate (Second Sea): Solid mid-game choice while saving for Electric Claw. If you spend time farming near water, check our Shark Race guide for extra synergies.

Best Race for Phoenix Fruit Blox Fruits

    • Angel Race: Extra jump charges help aerial combat, which Phoenix excels at in transformation form. Flight-based combat benefits heavily from additional air mobility. Our Angel Race guide explains the full benefits.
    • Ghoul Race: Life steal from kills stacks with Phoenix’s already impressive healing, creating exceptional sustain in long fights. Great for players who prioritise near-unkillable survivability. Full details in our Ghoul Race guide.
    • Rabbit (Mink) Race: Faster dashes improve Phoenix’s close-range gap closing, which the fruit lacks natively. Helpful for landing the awakened M1 dash and Flame Exodus in PvP. See our Rabbit Race guide.
    • Cyborg Race: Energy Core passive helps sustain the heavy energy drain from transformation and the X move. A practical pick for players who struggle to keep energy up during long fights. Our Cyborg Race guide covers this in detail.

For a full comparison of all races in Blox Fruits, see our Blox Fruits Race Tier List.

Is Phoenix Fruit Good for Grinding?

Phoenix is decent for grinding but not optimal as a solo choice — especially in its unawakened form. The key points:

    • Unawakened Phoenix has limited damage moves — grinding feels slow without awakening
    • Once awakened, Swift Flight (F) lets you hover over groups of NPCs and deal constant tick damage while healing yourself simultaneously
    • Regeneration Flames and transformation passive keep your health topped up during grinding, reducing downtime
    • Great for group grinding where you support teammates and keep them alive through harder NPC areas
    • In the Second and Third Sea, Phoenix pairs well with a high-damage fighting style to compensate for its moderate base move damage

For pure solo grinding efficiency, Buddha and Magma outperform Phoenix. But for group content and raid grinding where your healing keeps the whole team alive, Phoenix is the best-in-slot support fruit.

Is Phoenix Fruit Good for PvP?

Awakened Phoenix is B-tier for PvP — solid in the right hands but not dominant against top-tier fruits. Here is the real picture:

    What Works in PvP

    • Awakened M1 (Click) dashes to the target and stuns — reliable combo opener
    • Flame Exodus (awakened C) deals strong damage, lifts the opponent, and burns them — good combo finisher
    • 15% damage reduction in transformation makes you significantly more durable mid-fight
    • Passive healing during fights means opponents need to deal more total damage to kill you
    • Good knockback from several moves — useful for escaping dangerous situations
    • Can break Instinct on key moves

What Does Not Work in PvP

    • Only 2 core damage moves unawakened — very limited offensive pressure before awakening
    • Moves are hard to aim precisely against mobile opponents
    • Blue Flames (awakened X) heals nearby enemies too — never use it when enemies are close in PvP
    • Heavy energy drain during transformation means fights need to end quickly or energy management becomes critical
    • Outclassed by Dough, Control, and Dragon in pure PvP output

    Phoenix Fruit Combos

    Unawakened Combo

Z (Cannon) → C (Fast Kick) → X (Regeneration Flames) → V (Full Transformation) → Z (three-hit AoE blast) – Open with Cannon for knockback, close the gap with Fast Kick, use Regeneration Flames to restore health, then enter Full Transformation and fire the three-projectile Cannon burst while the opponent is still recovering. Simple but effective for grinding and beginner PvP.

    Awakened PvP Combo

M1 Click (dash stun) → C (Flame Exodus) → Z (Cremation Cannon) → X (Blue Flames, step back first) – Open with the awakened M1 dash to close distance and stun. Immediately follow with Flame Exodus to lift and burn. While they land, place Cremation Cannon on their position for the burn trail. Step back from the enemy before activating Blue Flames so you do not accidentally heal them. Practice this sequence in a safe area before taking it to competitive content.

Phoenix Fruit vs Other Fruits – Quick Comparison

    Phoenix vs Buddha

Buddha is easier to use and significantly better for solo grinding. Phoenix is more versatile and brings team support that Buddha cannot. If grinding is your only goal, Buddha. If you want both offense and team utility, Phoenix.

    Phoenix vs Magma

Magma deals higher raw damage and is the better choice for Sea Events specifically. Phoenix has better sustained survivability, flight, and team healing. Magma is the damage specialist; Phoenix is the sustain specialist.

    Phoenix vs Venom

Venom is the better PvP fruit, with stronger stun and damage potential in direct duels. Phoenix edges out Venom in support and survivability, particularly in raid group content.

    Phoenix vs Dragon

Dragon is the stronger overall pick in virtually every category — better damage, better PvP, higher trade value. Phoenix offers something Dragon cannot: genuine team healing utility, which keeps it relevant even as Dragon becomes the preferred endgame choice.

Phoenix Fruit Fun Facts and History

    • Phoenix was historically one of the most overpowered fruits in the game before being reworked and balanced. Long-time players still remember it fondly from that era.
    • The fruit was previously named “Bird: Phoenix” before the rename to simply “Phoenix.”
    • Phoenix is the first fruit in Blox Fruits able to transform without a fury meter. Leopard, Mammoth, and Yeti followed this mechanic later.
    • The transformed Phoenix visually resembles the Chinese mythological creature Fenghuang (a symbol of grace and virtue), though its combat behavior mirrors the more violent Western phoenix concept.
    • Awakened Blue Flames (X) actually heals at a slightly slower rate per second than the unawakened Regeneration Flames despite being the awakened version — something that surprises many players.
    • Swift Flight (F awakened) deals less damage when its hotbar slot is not actively selected — keep the slot highlighted while hovering for full tick damage output.
    • Sea Beasts spawn specifically on islands 4 and 5 of the Phoenix Raid — they drop nothing and are optional, but experienced raiders skip them to save time.
    • Phoenix has one of the oldest unreworked icons still in the game — the fruit model was remade but the icon kept its classic look.

Should You Use Phoenix Fruit in Blox Fruits?

If you play with a group regularly or want a fruit that shines in raids and Sea Events, Phoenix Fruit is an outstanding investment. The team healing mechanic alone makes you invaluable in group content — no other fruit at this rarity tier does anything close to what Phoenix does for ally sustain.

For solo play, the fruit is decent but not ideal without awakening. Once fully awakened, Swift Flight transforms it into a legitimate solo grinding and sea event tool. The 18,500 Fragment cost is steep, so prioritise the Z and F awakenings first for the most immediate return.

For PvP, Phoenix wins most mid-tier matchups through healing sustain and transformation durability. It will not dominate top-level play, but it is a strong and unique option that rewards players who understand energy management and positioning.

Overall, Phoenix is one of the most fun and distinctive fruits in Blox Fruits. If you want to be the player who keeps the raid team alive while still dealing damage, there is nothing quite like it.

Frequently Asked Questions – Phoenix Fruit Blox Fruits

Do you really need 400 Mastery to awaken Phoenix?

You need 400 Mastery to host the Phoenix Raid yourself and buy the chip from the Sick Scientist. However, you can join another player’s hosted raid and awaken Phoenix moves without having 400 Mastery at all. If you want to host your own raids independently, 400 Mastery is the requirement. If you have a friend or find someone hosting in a server, you can awaken from the start without reaching that threshold.

Does Phoenix Fruit heal enemies in PvP?

Yes — both the unawakened Regeneration Flames (X) and awakened Blue Flames (X) heal anyone nearby, including enemies. This is the biggest tactical mistake new Phoenix players make in PvP. Never activate these moves while an opponent is within range or you will restore their health along with yours. In PvP, step away from the enemy before using the X move, or avoid it in close-range duels entirely. In raids and grinding, the AoE healing is a massive advantage.

Is unawakened Phoenix good for Sea Events?

No — unawakened Phoenix is not recommended for Sea Beasts or Leviathan. In its unawakened form, only the Z (Cannon) and C (Fast Kick) moves can actually damage Sea Beasts. The X and V moves cannot hit them. Once awakened, Swift Flight (F) and Cremation Cannon (Z awakened) both connect with Sea Events effectively, making the awakened version a solid Sea Event support pick. Prioritise awakening Z and F before attempting Sea Events with Phoenix.
