Sailor Piece has been quietly one of the most entertaining One Piece-inspired grinders on Roblox, and the Sea 2 update is the biggest thing to happen to the game since launch. Released on April 18, 2026, this is not just a content drop — it is a full second chapter of the game. New islands, new bosses, new systems, a raised level cap, and even a crossover event are all part of the package. Here is a full breakdown of everything that came with the Sea 2 update.

How to Unlock Sea 2
Getting into Sea 2 is not as simple as just hitting a level requirement and walking through a door. The unlock process involves a two-part quest that requires some actual effort to complete.
First, teleport to the new World Island that has been added to Sea 1. On this island you will find the Sea Traveler NPC — interact with them to begin the unlock quest. One important note: you cannot have any other active quest running when you do this, so close out anything else first before talking to the NPC.
The quest requires you to collect 2 Ancient Fragments. These spawn at fixed locations across 12 Sea 1 islands — Starter, Sailor, Desert, Snow, Shibuya Station, Hollow, Shinjuku, Slime, Academy, Judgment, Ninja, and Lawless. Spawns refresh every 90 seconds and despawn after 5 minutes, with a maximum of 2 active at any one time, so be patient and keep rotating between locations. Once you have collected both fragments and have a character at level 12,500 and Ascension 5, you can complete the quest and cross through into Sea 2.
Sea 2 — New Islands and What to Expect
Cross that barrier and you are stepping into a whole new chapter of Sailor Piece with four new islands to explore, each with its own theme, bosses, and rewards.
- Sea 2 Starter Island — The entry point into Sea 2. It looks impressive but functions mainly as an introduction area. NPC quests and basic enemies are here but experienced players will move through it quickly since the farming rewards are not the strongest compared to later islands.
- Bizarre Island — Themed after JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. This is where you will find and eventually grind out The World melee combat style, named after DIO’s iconic Stand.
- Punch Island — Themed after One Punch Man. Home of the Cosmic Being melee combat style, which is currently one of the most sought-after specs in the game post-launch.
- World Boss Island — The hub for the Sea 2 world bosses. This is where the big fights happen and where some of the rarest drops in the update can be found.
New Bosses in Sea 2
Sea 2 brings three brand new bosses to the roster, two of which are the major world bosses that drop the new combat specs.
Cosmic Being is found on Punch Island and drops the Cosmic Being melee style. To fully unlock the Cosmic Master move, you will need 15 Cosmic Being kills, a run of Floor 90 or higher in the Infinite Tower, and an Astral Bloodline — so this one is a serious commitment to unlock. The drop rate was actually adjusted post-launch after it launched too high, so expect a real grind now that the devs have balanced it properly.
The World is on Bizarre Island and drops the namesake melee style. If you are a JoJo fan, you already know why this one is must-have content.
Castorice is the third new world boss and also drops a melee spec — no pity mechanic involved, it is a straight drop chance from the boss itself. All four of the new Sea 2 specs received a buff shortly after launch, bringing them up beyond Ice Queen in terms of power level.
Sea Beasts — The Ocean Is Not Safe Anymore
Sea Beasts are a brand new encounter type exclusive to the open ocean of Sea 2. Two have been added in this update: the Kraken and the Sea Serpent. These are rare spawns that appear between islands rather than on them, and they are not to be underestimated. You will need endgame gear, maxed abilities, and ideally a solid crew of players to take one down without getting flattened.
The key to getting Sea Beasts to spawn is your Bounty. Rack it up by defeating bosses and killing other players, then head out into the open ocean. The higher your Bounty, the better your chances of a Sea Beast showing up to hunt you down. There is something deeply funny about the Kraken essentially acting as a bounty hunter for the most dangerous players on the server — but that is the kind of unhinged design that makes Roblox games like this so enjoyable.
Take one down and you have a chance to earn the Dragon Goddess sword. The drop rate was buffed in the April 19 hotfix, so farming Sea Beasts is more rewarding than it was at launch.

Easter Island and the Frieren Event
Alongside Sea 2, a limited-time island called Easter Island was added to Sea 1 as part of the game’s Easter event. This island features a Frieren crossover, an Easter Egg hunt scattered across the map, and the ability to unlock Frieren’s Great Mage Staff — a new sword-type weapon tied to completing the island’s questline.
The Easter event ran until April 22, 2026, with 7 eggs to hunt down for prizes. The Frieren melee spec is also tied to the event questline, so if you are reading this after the event window, you may have missed it — but it is worth keeping an eye out for future events that could bring it back.
Four New Systems: Guilds, Bloodlines, Relics, and the Infinite Tower
The Sea 2 update is not just about new islands and bosses. Four entirely new gameplay systems have been added that will reshape how you build and progress your character at endgame.
Guilds are the social system. You can form a group starting at 15 members, upgradeable all the way up to 150. Guilds earn points through NPC kills, Sea Beast takedowns, World Boss clears, and questlines. There is also a global Guild leaderboard with ranking rewards for top-performing groups, so competitive players have something to chase beyond individual progression.
Bloodlines are a new gacha-style lineage system exclusive to Sea 2. You earn Bloodline Stones by defeating NPCs in the Sea 2 area, then use them to roll for different Bloodlines that provide passive stat bonuses. The Astral Bloodline is currently one of the most important to chase if you are aiming for the Cosmic Being spec unlock.
Relics are a new equipment type that can only be found in Sea 2 — either through the Infinite Tower or World Boss drops. Sets of Relics provide set bonuses when equipped together, adding another layer of build optimisation on top of the existing gear systems.
The Infinite Tower is a new endless PvE mode where every 5 floors adds a random stacking debuff. The deeper you go, the harder it gets. Floor 90 is required as part of the Cosmic Being spec unlock, and rewards scale with how far you push it — making this the go-to content for players who want to test the absolute ceiling of their character build.
Full List of New Weapons in the Sea 2 Update
Four new weapons were added across this update:
- Great Mage Staff (Sword) — Acquired through the Frieren questline on Easter Island
- Dragon Goddess (Sword) — Acquired by farming Sea Beasts in the Sea 2 ocean
- Cosmic Being (Melee) — Acquired by defeating the Cosmic Being boss on Punch Island
- The World (Melee) — Acquired by defeating The World boss on Bizarre Island
All four specs were buffed shortly after launch, bringing them beyond Ice Queen tier in the current meta. If you were holding off to see how the power level settled, the verdict is in — these are worth farming.
Raised Level Cap and Bounty Cap
The level cap across all individual stats has been raised from 13,000 to 16,000. That is a significant increase that gives you a lot more room to push your character into genuinely ridiculous territory in terms of raw damage output and survivability.
The Bounty cap has also been raised significantly — it now sits at 50,000,000 (50 million), up from the previous limit. Given that Bounty directly affects Sea Beast spawn rates, this one matters more than it might look on paper. The item cap has also been set at 2 million per item.
Beyond that, five new Titles have been added — Ancient Mage (+90%), Time Tyrant (+92.5%), Cosmic Being (+95%), Dragon Queen (+97.5%), and Egg Seeker — along with seven new Auras, new accessories, and new cosmetics. There is a lot to chase even after you have cleared the main new content.
Sea 2 Free Codes
A fresh batch of codes dropped alongside the Sea 2 update. The standout is SEA2FINALLY, which requires level 6,000 to redeem and rewards $250k Beli, 500 gems, 10 power shards, 15 passive shards, 30 clan rerolls, 65 trait rerolls, 80 race rerolls, and 50 haki color rerolls. Additional codes including YETANOTHERFREECODE and BUGFIXESCODES have also been added with the update — redeem them while they are still active.
If you enjoy games with massive content updates and deep progression systems, there is plenty happening across gaming right now. The Xbox April 2026 update just went live with the long-awaited per-game Quick Resume toggle, and the Pokémon Pokopia 1.0.4 patch dropped a solid round of quality of life fixes for one of the best Switch 2 exclusives out there.
All in all, the Sailor Piece Sea 2 update is a genuine second chapter for the game — not a content drip, not a seasonal event bolted onto an existing world. New systems, new islands, new bosses, and a raised ceiling for character progression make this the best time to either jump back in or start grinding toward that level 12,500 gate. The grind is real, but Sea 2 gives you a reason to actually see it through.
