How to Get to St. Amelia Medical Center

After escaping Mr. Stewart’s house, your next objective as Zoe is to reach St. Amelia Medical Center in the northern part of the Shorefront District. The front gate is locked when you arrive and there are monsters patrolling the streets.

The area shifts from day to night at this point, which means more enemies are active. Stick close to the right-hand side of the road and keep bottles ready to throw as distractions if needed.

The Medical Center gate cannot be opened by force. You need to make a phone call first.

Go to the security booth beside the gate. There is a note taped to the booth window — the Medical Security Note. Inspect it fully. It tells staff the centre is off-limits and lists a contact number for Dr. Glenn: 496 0556. Reading it adds the number to Zoe’s phone directory.

Monsters may be nearby. Throw a bottle or brick to pull them away before you approach the booth. You must inspect the note in person — the game will not let you dial the number until you have read it.

How to Call Dr. Glenn and Open the Gate

With the number saved, go to the phone booth at the intersection of Station Road and Commercial Road. It is marked on your map. Go inside and dial 496 0556.

Dr. Glenn’s automated system picks up and asks four questions. These are not optional choices — the system requires a specific sequence to grant Zoe access. The correct answers are:

    • First prompt: Press 3
    • Second prompt: Press 2
    • Third prompt: Press 2
    • Fourth prompt: Press 1

After the final answer, Dr. Glenn tells Zoe to report to surgery and the Medical Center gate unlocks. Two things happen immediately: the gate opens and the time shifts fully to night, bringing more monsters into the streets. Move quickly back toward the Medical Center once the call ends.

This call also counts toward the Cold Calling trophy, which requires you to find and call all 13 phone numbers in the game. Do not hang up early — let the call end on its own.

How to Enter the Medical Center
How to Enter the Medical Center

How to Enter the Medical Center

Return to the Medical Center and go through the now-open gate. Follow the route through the parking area and service sections. Take the path on the left and unlock the small white door. The route beyond is fairly linear until it opens into the car park area. From there, continue to the building entrance and interact with the door to trigger the next cutscene.

Part 3: The Patient now begins.

Part 3 — The Patient: Full Surgery Walkthrough

This is the longest and most involved puzzle section in the first half of Silent Hill Townfall. You are now in the operating room with a dying patient. Dr. Glenn gives instructions over the intercom. The puzzle has six main stages: vitals, X-ray, medications, infusion pumps, intubation kit, and intubation.

Before you do anything else, grab the St. Amelia Medical Center Map from the wall. It is easy to miss and helps you navigate the building for the medication hunt later.

    Step 1 — Report the Patient’s Vitals

Use the intercom on the wall to the right of the patient to reach Dr. Glenn. He will ask for three vital readings. There are multiple monitors around the patient and most of them show false or unreliable readings. The PC beside the patient’s bed has equipment notes that explain which values to ignore — read it if you want to understand the logic yourself.

Choose wrong and Zoe takes damage. The correct readings are:

    • Blood Pressure — 70 Systolic / 40 Diastolic. The monitor is on the right side of the patient. Blood pressure readings outside 70/110 mmHg are considered unreliable, so this is the only valid one.
    • Pulse — 162. The monitor is at the foot of the bed. The reading sits just above the stated reliable range, but it is the one the game accepts. The number may flicker slightly but that is fine.
    • Blood Oxygen — 80% SpO2. The monitor is on the left side of the patient. Values under 75% are unreliable, so this is the correct one.

After all three are reported, Dr. Glenn will request an X-ray.

    Step 2 — Take the X-Rays (Room Code 7103)

Dr. Glenn pages you the code for the adjacent X-ray room: 7103. Enter it on the keypad beside the door to the right of the patient and go in.

Inside, turn on both the Zeimann machine (the X-ray unit) and the computer monitor. The computer has an X-Ray Dosage Table that shows the correct settings for each scan type — the game gives you the values if you read it.

Skull X-ray settings on the Zeimann:

    • Site: Skull
    • kV: 3
    • mA: 7
    • Time: 1

Use the camera control to aim at the patient’s skull. Align the corner squares with the patient’s head until the screen reads Patient Skull — Aligned in green. Then press the green X-ray button.

Chest X-ray settings on the Zeimann:

    • Site: Chest
    • kV: 7
    • mA: 3
    • Time: 1.2

Move the camera down to the patient’s chest. Align it until the screen reads Patient Chest — Aligned. Press the green button again.

Both X-ray films print out from the machine. Collect the Head X-Ray and Chest X-Ray from the printer output. Carry them back to the surgery room and place them on the whiteboard beside the intercom. Examine them there and speak to Dr. Glenn again. He will read the results and send you to find three drugs.

Step 3 — Find the Three Medications

Dr. Glenn asks for three specific drugs at specific doses:

    • Tensobromide 11mg
    • Dextracylate 2.5mg
    • Hydroxalene 3mg

There are medicines scattered around the Medical Center but most are not what you need. Here is exactly where to find each one:

Tensobromide 11mg — Pharmacy Store (Ground Floor)

Exit the surgery room and take an immediate right, then head left along the corridor. The Pharmacy Store is across from Consult Room C, beside the Treatment Room. Go inside and search the green medical case. The 11mg Tensobromide is in there. There may be a monster in this corridor — use a bottle to distract it or use the plank found nearby to deal with it.

    Dextracylate 2.5mg — Bay 6 (Upper Floor)

Head left from the surgery room and go upstairs from the Chapman Ward Ground Floor. On the Chapman Ward First Floor, go north to Bay 6. The correct dosage of Dextracylate is there. A monster also patrols this floor, but there are bottles nearby to use as distractions.

While you are on this floor, go to the Office opposite Bay 6. Inside, a note on the noticeboard reads: New Records Room code: 2605. You need this for the third drug. The game may not let you enter the Records Room code until you have found this note upstairs first.

Hydroxalene 3mg — Records Room (Ground Floor, Code 2605)

Return downstairs and head left of the surgery room to the Chapman Ward Ground Floor. The Records Room is in the northwest corner. Enter 2605 on the keypad. Inside, open the large metal cabinet and take the green case with the 3mg Hydroxalene.

Step 4 — Set Up the Infusion Pumps

Return to the surgery room with all three drugs. There are three infusion pumps beside the patient. Load each drug into the correct pump and set the delivery rate based on the patient’s weight. The whiteboard in the room shows the patient weighs 88kg. The laptop beside the patient has a Medication Dosage Table that shows the rates per weight column — the 88kg column is the third one.

The correct infusion rates for an 88kg patient are:

    • Dextracylate — Rate: 15
    • Tensobromide — Rate: 8
    • Hydroxalene — Rate: 7

For each pump: load the drug first, press SET RATE, enter the number, press the checkmark to confirm, then press READY PUMP. Do this for all three. When all three pumps are ready, interact with the small control console on the left of the bed to start the infusion. The patient’s vitals begin to stabilise.

Step 5 — Get the Medical Intubation Kit (Basement)

After the infusion, Dr. Glenn tells Zoe she needs to intubate the patient. He gives her the phone number 5353 — Hospital Storage. Go to the phone in reception and call 5353. The person at hospital storage will send the elevator up.

Take the elevator down to the Victoria Ward Basement. In the hallway you will find the Equipment Cleanup Notice document on a bed — pick it up if you are collecting documents. Continue into the Storage room at the end. Squeeze through the gap between the lockers and the Medical Intubation Kit is on a shelf inside.

There is a monster in the basement. Use the radio in the kitchen down here to distract it, then move into the storage room while it is occupied. Grab the kit and return to the elevator. Press G to return to the ground floor.

Step 6 — Intubate the Patient

Return to the surgery room and interact with the patient. The intubation is a short hands-on sequence. Rotate the stick slowly until the on-screen circle begins to pulse and flash red. When it does, hold R2 (PS5) or RT (PC) until the pulsing circle turns white. You need to complete this action three times in sequence — right side first, then lower-left, then upper area.

After the third successful hold, a cutscene triggers and the Patient puzzle concludes. Part 3 ends and the story moves forward.

Collectibles to Pick Up Inside the Medical Center

The Medical Center has several collectibles that are missable if you rush through. Here is what to look for:

    • St. Amelia Medical Center Map — on the wall when you first enter the surgery room. Pick it up before anything else.
    • Equipment Cleanup Notice (Document) — on a bed in the Victoria Ward Basement hallway. Grab it on your way to the storage room.
    • Phone Number 5353 — Hospital Storage — given automatically by Dr. Glenn after the infusions. Call it from the reception phone and let the conversation finish for the Cold Calling trophy.

Enemies and How to Deal With Them

The Medical Center has monsters on multiple floors. Zoe cannot fight them directly — she relies on distractions. Bottles are the most common tool. Throw one away from your intended path and move while the enemy investigates the sound.

There is also a radio in the kitchen in the basement. Use it to distract the monster down there before entering the storage room.

If you are still working toward the Static Distractions achievement (distract 10 enemies with radios), the basement kitchen radio counts. Activate it even if you do not need the distraction right now.

If you are still carrying the Save It For The Patients achievement run, this is the last stretch of Zoe’s chapter. Do not use any Gauze or First Aid Kits. The kit in the basement storage room and others in the building are there — just do not touch them.

What Comes After the Medical Center

Once Part 3 concludes, the game transitions. Simon returns as the playable character and the Medical Center appears in an Otherworld version called Medical Centre — Different. This is a separate, darker section involving blood bags, a new unkillable enemy type, and stealth-focused navigation.

For a full picture of where the Medical Center fits in the game’s overall structure, see our Silent Hill Townfall review, which covers all three acts and how the stories intersect.
