Teardown is Finally Getting Multiplayer This Spring
Big news for Teardown fans—multiplayer is coming! Tuxedo Labs just announced that one of the game’s most requested features will be arriving this spring, letting players team up for some destruction-filled heists.
Since its release in 2022, Teardown has gotten a ton of updates, adding new maps, characters, and even a creative mode. Some updates have been free, while others were paid expansions, usually introducing new locations. Now, multiplayer is set to be the biggest update yet, finally letting players cause voxel-based chaos together.

What We Know About Teardown Multiplayer
The announcement video gives fans a sneak peek at the update, highlighting the game’s crazy destruction physics and the recently added characters. Unfortunately, there aren’t many details yet—we don’t know if multiplayer will include co-op heists, PvP, or special game modes.
Still, this is a huge step for Teardown, marking the first major update of 2025 for one of the most beloved immersive sims out there.

What’s Next for Teardown?
Multiplayer isn’t the only thing coming—there are three more big updates on the roadmap:
- DLC 3 (Possibly a new map or heist)
- DLC 4 (No details yet)
- “QUILEZ R0113R ROBOT” (Which sounds like a spawnable robot for even more destruction)
It’s still unclear if DLC 3 will include multiplayer, though that seems unlikely since previous paid DLCs focused on new maps. So far, the game has had two major expansions (Time Campers and Folkrace), and while Teardown itself has “Very Positive” reviews on Steam, fans have been more critical of the DLCs, mostly due to their price tags.
Multiplayer Could Make Teardown Even Better
Even though some of the DLCs have been hit or miss, Teardown has only gotten better over time with new content. And while new maps and features are cool, adding multiplayer is a game-changer.
For fans who’ve been waiting to pull off heists with friends, this update is going to be massive. Now, the real question is—will it be chaotic co-op or total PvP madness? Either way, Teardown is about to become way more fun.
