But now, all eyes are on the upcoming Season 2, and yeah—it’s looking pretty stacked. From new heroes to fresh Team-Ups and flashy skins, here’s everything you need to know before it drops.
🗓️ Marvel Rivals Season 2 Release Date
Season 2 officially kicks off on April 11, 2025. Season 1 has been running for about three months, and that’s going to be the rhythm going forward—new seasons every three months unless things shift.

Season 2? It’s bringing in the Hellfire Gala vibes—confirmed after players spotted hints in the game’s Gallery Cards. The event originates from X-Men comics, where mutants open Krakoa’s doors to the world, introducing a new X-Men lineup (Cyclops, Jean Grey, Rogue, Wolverine, and more).
With the Hellfire Gala theme, we’re also getting two major hero additions: Emma Frost and Ultron.
