Another day, another round of squinting at country outlines like they’re rare Pokémon silhouettes. Today’s Worldle (August 18, 2025) wasn’t too wild, but it definitely had a shape that could throw you off if you weren’t paying attention. Luckily, I cracked it—and yep, I’ve got the screenshot to prove it.
Ironically my third wild guess was just on spot, trust me it was just a blinder.
Okay, coming back to Worldle before that i have some other games for you like Bandle, Globle and Conexo Answers for August 18, 2025.

- The outline has a lot of islands scattered along the coast.

Worldle Answer for August 18, 2025
The country is: Guinea-Bissau 🇬🇼
And here’s my screenshot receipt to lock it in:

As you can see, Algeria and Cyprus popped up as guesses with decent proximity scores, but the islands along the coastline gave it away—it had to be Guinea-Bissau.
How I Solved It
- My first instinct was Algeria (big chunk of North Africa), but the outline didn’t match—it was way too jagged. Still, 87% proximity was a good sign I was in the right continent.
- Then I tossed in Cyprus—wrong direction, and the shape was too clean.
- Finally, I noticed the island scatter on the west side of the map. Then i just wild guessed Guinea-Bissau. Dropped it in and boom—100%.
Worldle today was one of those sneaky ones that looks simple at first, but the coastal islands were the real giveaway. If you guessed it fast, nice flex—you’re basically a geography boss. If not, no stress—tomorrow’s outline could be your easy win.
Wiki
Guinea-Bissau, officially the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, is a country in West Africa. It covers 36,125 square kilometres (13,948 sq mi) and has an estimated population of about 2,026,778. The country borders Senegal to the north and Guinea to the southeast.
Guinea-Bissau was once part of the Kingdom of Kaabu and also part of the Mali Empire. Parts of these kingdoms lasted until the 18th century, while some areas came under Portuguese influence as early as the 16th century.
In the 19th century, the region was formally colonized as Portuguese Guinea. Independence was declared in 1973 and officially recognized in 1974.
To avoid confusion with neighboring Guinea, the country added the name of its capital, Bissau, to its official title. Since independence, Guinea-Bissau has experienced frequent political instability.
The current president is Umaro Sissoco Embaló, who was elected on 29 December 2019. Source: Wikipedia
