Overview
Lumi is a 4-Star Electro Broadblade Sub-DPS and buffer introduced in version 1.4. Her defining feature is a dual-mode combat system — she alternates between Red Light Mode (close-range melee: up to 3 Basic Attacks) and Yellow Light Mode (ranged attacks triggered by Resonance Skill), switching between them each time her Resonance Skill is used. The key damage mechanic is her Forte Circuit: each mode fills a separate gauge; a full gauge in either mode grants an Enhanced Resonance Skill — which is her hardest-hitting ability. Her Outro Skill grants the next incoming character +25% Resonance Skill DMG Deepen for 14 seconds — making her the ideal swap-in buffer for Resonance Skill–focused DPS characters like Changli, Carlotta, or Phrolova.
As of February 2026, Lumi is placed in C Tier. Her Outro’s +25% Resonance Skill DMG Deepen is genuinely useful — but the characters who benefit most from it (Changli, Carlotta, Phrolova) have better premium supports available. She is best used as a budget placeholder buffer in Changli or Carlotta teams when lacking Mortefi or other dedicated supports. Her personal DPS output is modest for a Sub-DPS, and her energy requirements are higher than average — needing careful ER investment to ensure her Liberation is available every rotation.

Up to 3 consecutive Basic Attacks — melee Electro hits. Each melee attack fills the Red Forte Gauge. Deals higher single-hit damage but requires close-range positioning. Full Red gauge → next Resonance Skill becomes Enhanced (Burst Strike — powerful single AoE Electro slam).
Triggered by Resonance Skill switch — ranged Electro bolts. Fills the Yellow Forte Gauge. Safe for kiting; useful against fast-moving enemies. Full Yellow gauge → Enhanced Resonance Skill (Lightning Surge — rapid ranged Electro burst). Optimal combo alternates both modes.
On swap-out: incoming Resonator gains +25% Resonance Skill DMG Deepen for 14s. Applies to the entire Resonance Skill damage output of the next character — Lumi’s primary support value, especially for Changli (multiple Enhanced Skill hits) and Carlotta (Skill-focused burst).
Separate Red and Yellow gauges, each max 100. Fill via Basic Attacks (Red) or Resonance Skill hits (Yellow). Enhanced Resonance Skills (Burst Strike / Lightning Surge) are her highest-multiplier abilities — always consume Enhanced Skill charges before swapping out. Core damage in any rotation.

Carlotta and Phrolova both rely heavily on Resonance Skill damage in their burst windows — Lumi’s Outro DMG Deepen is usable in these teams. Verina provides sustain and a team-wide ATK buff via her Outro. A budget option for players missing those characters’ signature supports.

💡 Tips: Always use Liberation first on entry to start its cooldown and contribute Electro DMG. Alternate Red and Yellow modes every Resonance Skill use to build both Forte gauges simultaneously for maximum Enhanced Skill frequency.
