Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island Joins Xbox Game Pass
In Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island, players take on the role of Alex, a rookie backpacker who finds herself shipwrecked on an island unlike any other. The island is home to Greek mythology’s forgotten gods, but something strange has happened—they no longer remember who they are. As Alex, your job is to restore their memories, build friendships, and uncover the truth behind the curse that has affected Ambrosia Island, all while trying to find a way back home.
Starting March 20, Xbox Game Pass members can enjoy Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island across Ultimate, PC, and Standard tiers. The game is also playable via Xbox Cloud Gaming Beta. Many players have compared it to a cozy visual novel with light questing mechanics rather than an intense action-adventure game.

Polygon Treehouse’s Stand Against AI in Gaming
One interesting aspect of Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island is that it proudly does not use generative AI. Polygon Treehouse Creative Director Alex Kanaris-Sotiriou introduced a “No AI” badge in February, allowing indie developers to assure players that their work was created entirely by human artists and writers. While the badge operates on an honor system, it’s seen as a step forward in the discussion around AI in game development.
More Big Titles Coming to Game Pass
Alongside Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island, Game Pass subscribers still have plenty to look forward to in the coming weeks. Atomfall, a survival-action game set in post-nuclear Britain, arrives March 27 as a day-one release for Ultimate subscribers.
Then on April 8, South of Midnight, a new action-adventure game from the developers of We Happy Few, launches for Game Pass Ultimate members. Finally, on April 24, players can dive into Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, a turn-based RPG inspired by France’s Belle Époque era.
With so many great games arriving in the next few months, Xbox Game Pass continues to offer tons of value for its subscribers.
