Microsoft just confirmed the full Xbox Game Pass Wave 1 lineup for June 2026, and there’s a solid spread here — nine total additions including five day-one releases, a beloved JRPG making its return, and a boxing sim that’s been on the waitlist for a while. The announcement came on June 3, technically a couple of days later than the usual cadence, but the full list is now locked in. Here’s everything confirmed, when it hits, and what you need to know before diving in.

The Full Xbox Game Pass Wave 1 Lineup for June 2026

The month technically started rolling on June 2 with Final Fantasy VI and Jurassic World Evolution 3 both landing on Ultimate, PC, and Premium tiers. Those two are already available right now. The rest of the Wave 1 schedule runs through June 16:

    • June 4 — Herdling (Premium, Ultimate, PC Game Pass | Cloud, PC, Series X/S) — expanding availability to Premium; already on Ultimate and PC GP since August 2025
    • June 4 — Total Chaos (Premium, Ultimate, PC Game Pass | Cloud, PC, Series X/S) — same deal, expanding to Premium from its November 2025 Ultimate/PC GP debut
    • June 8 — Solarpunk (Ultimate, PC Game Pass | Cloud, Handheld, PC, Series X/S) — Day-one release
    • June 8 — Undisputed (Ultimate, PC Game Pass, Premium | Cloud, Handheld, PC, Series X/S) — catalog addition, four months before the game’s second anniversary
    • June 9 — Persona 5 Royal (Ultimate, Premium, PC Game Pass | Cloud, Console, PC) — returning title, back after being off the service since October 2023
    • June 11 — Beastro (Ultimate | Cloud, PC, Series X/S) — Day-one release
    • June 11 — Frog Sqwad (Ultimate, PC Game Pass | Cloud, PC, Series X/S) — Day-one release
    • June 11 — Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions (Ultimate, PC Game Pass | Cloud, PC, Series X/S) — Game Preview, day-one release
    • June 16 — Junkster (Ultimate, PC Game Pass | Cloud, Handheld, PC, Series X/S) — Day-one release

Five of the seven brand-new additions are day-one releases, which is a strong showing for indie and mid-tier titles launching directly into the subscriber library. That ratio matters — it’s what keeps Game Pass feeling valuable month to month even when there isn’t a marquee first-party release on the calendar.

The Headliner: Persona 5 Royal Returns

The biggest name in this wave is undoubtedly Persona 5 Royal, and its return to Game Pass on June 9 is very well timed. Atlus’ definitive version of the acclaimed JRPG last sat on the service during the October 2022 to October 2023 window — it’s been off the catalog for over two and a half years. If you somehow never played it during that original run, this is the second chance you’ve been waiting for.

The timing also has a bit of poetic irony to it. The May 31 catalog rotation removed several other Atlus RPGs including Persona 4 Golden, which stung for a lot of subscribers. Persona 5 Royal sliding in to partially fill that gap softens the blow. P5R is the complete package — expanded story content, new characters, an entire additional semester of gameplay, and a visual style that still holds up as one of the sharpest in the genre. If you’ve got even a passing interest in JRPGs and haven’t touched it yet, block off about 100 hours of your life and just commit.

    Day-One Highlights Worth Knowing

Solarpunk (June 8) is the floating island survival game that’s been generating quiet buzz in the indie space — it’s a resource management and exploration title with a distinct aesthetic that leans into the optimistic, nature-reclaims-technology angle that the solarpunk genre is built around. Day-one on Game Pass, which makes it very easy to just jump in without any financial risk.

Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions (June 11) is the one for fans of the original Astroneer. It’s launching in Game Preview — so expect an early access experience with ongoing updates — but it’s arriving day-one on Game Pass, meaning subscribers get in from the ground floor without paying separately. The cooperative space exploration loop of the Astroneer universe expands here with planet-wide objectives and deeper expedition systems.

Beastro (June 11) is a cozy life sim with deckbuilding mechanics wrapped in a puppet adventure aesthetic — and before anyone squints at that description, yes, this is Beastro, not Balatro. Different game. Frog Sqwad (June 11) is a co-op extraction puzzle-platformer, and Junkster (June 16) rounds out the day-one indie wave with a 3D action platformer feel. All three are the kind of titles that benefit enormously from being on Game Pass since they’d be harder sells at full price without word-of-mouth built up first.

Undisputed Joins Game Pass on June 8

Undisputed from Steel City Interactive is the other catalog addition worth spotlighting. The boxing simulation has been building a reputation as one of the better entries in the genre in years, and it’s hitting Game Pass on June 8 — about four months before its second anniversary. If you’ve been on the fence about it, this is obviously the best possible time to try it for free as a subscriber.

Five Games Leaving Game Pass on June 15

Don’t get so caught up in the new arrivals that you forget about the departures. Five titles are leaving Xbox Game Pass on June 15, and Microsoft is offering purchase discounts on all of them before they go:

    • Jurassic World Evolution 2
    • Lost in Random: The Eternal Die
    • Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine: Master Crafted Edition
    • Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game
    • TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge

That last two are worth flagging specifically. Scott Pilgrim and TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge are both genuinely excellent beat-em-ups that are easy to recommend as permanent purchases. If you’ve been playing them on subscription and enjoying them, now is the time to check the discount pricing before June 15 hits.

100th Game of 2026 Drops on June 11

Here’s a fun milestone buried in this announcement. With three games hitting Game Pass simultaneously on June 11 — Starseeker, Frog Sqwad, and Beastro — one of them is going to become the 100th game added to Xbox Game Pass in 2026, depending on exact release timing. For comparison, the service didn’t hit that milestone until mid-August 2025, making 2026 a significantly faster pace. That’s a meaningful data point for subscribers trying to assess whether the value proposition is holding up — and right now it clearly is.

Wave 2 Is Already Taking Shape

Looking past Wave 1, the second half of June already has a few confirmed arrivals to look forward to. Shift at Midnight (co-op horror) and Denshattack! (platformer) are both confirmed for June 17. Additionally, Vapor World: Over The Mind (a soulslike) and RV There Yet? (whimsical co-op friendslop) are both confirmed for June but haven’t locked down specific release dates yet. Those should get pinned down as Wave 2 approaches.

And of course, with the Xbox Games Showcase happening on June 7, there’s a real possibility that additional Game Pass announcements get made there — potentially including release dates for some of the bigger first-party titles on the horizon. Keep an eye on that showcase, because it could meaningfully expand what June and the rest of 2026 looks like on Game Pass. If you’re wondering what other major gaming moments are happening right now, God of War Laufey just got officially revealed at State of Play with some compelling leak-backed details about a second playable character, Pokemon Champions is hitting mobile on June 17, and the Fallout 3 remake could be showing up at the Xbox Games Showcase this weekend. Either way, there’s no shortage of games releasing on Xbox this June — it’s a solid month.
