ARC Raiders Home to Roost Quest: Complete Walkthrough Guide

What Is Home to Roost in ARC Raiders?

Home to Roost is a quest added with the Frozen Trail update on October 8, 2026. It is part of Shani’s questline and sends you into the Blue Gate map’s underground tunnel network — specifically the old MANTIKOR facility buried beneath the Checkpoint area.

Despite being a Frozen Trail quest, you do not go to the new Pendola Pass map. Every objective is inside the Blue Gate tunnels. The story follows clues about MANTIKOR security and the strange signals that have been concerning Shani. You are scanning, reading logs, and transmitting final recordings back to her.

The quest is not difficult. No single step is hard. The main thing that trips players up is the Confiscation Room Key — without it, you cannot finish the quest. We cover exactly where to find it below, so keep reading before you deploy.

Before You Start – What to Know

A few things worth knowing before you drop in:

• You do not need to finish in one run. Quest progress saves between raids. If you get killed or extract early, you keep whatever objectives you have already completed.
• You need a Blue Gate Confiscation Room Key to open the final locked room. The good news — a guaranteed key spawns right next to the weighing logs terminal during this quest. You do not have to farm for one in advance, but if you already have one, bring it in a Safe Pocket to be safe.
• Expect ARC enemies in the tunnels. Come geared for a fight. You will not need anything special, but heading in totally naked is risky.
• Free Loadout is fine. The quest does not ask you to extract with any special item, so you do not need to risk your best gear to complete it.

Home to Roost – All Objectives

These are all the steps you need to complete:

1. Reach the back of the Blue Gate tunnels
2. Scan any Android at the back of the tunnels
3. Reach the MANTIKOR locker room
4. Search for any clues in the locker room
5. Read the last vehicle weighing logs
6. Enter the Confiscation Room
7. Transmit MANTIKOR security’s last recordings to Shani

Step 1 – Reach the Back of the Blue Gate Tunnels

Land on the Blue Gate map and head toward the Checkpoint POI in the center. This is a large open area with wrecked vehicles and a main gate structure.

On the ground floor of the southern side of Checkpoint, you will find massive open gates leading underground. Enter here and you are inside the Traffic Tunnels.

Once inside, keep to your left and walk straight to the very end of the tunnel. Do not take any side paths. Keep going until you hit the back wall. Your quest objective will update when you reach it.

Step 2 – Scan Any Android at the Back of the Tunnels

At the very back wall of the tunnels, you will find an Android. Walk up close to it and you will see a prompt to scan it. Interact and let the scan complete.

This can be any Android near the back of the tunnels — there is no specific one tagged. If you see one, scan it. Your objective will update once the scan finishes.

Watch out for other ARC units lurking in the area. Deal with them first if needed before committing to the scan animation.

Step 3 – Reach the MANTIKOR Locker Room

After scanning the Android, turn around and look for a path leading to the right. Follow it all the way to a small set of stairs that lead to a door.

To the right of that door, there are more stairs going up. Take those. Once you are up the stairs and in the new area, look immediately to your right — there is a door leading into the MANTIKOR locker rooms.

The locker room is inside the Security Wing of the Blue Gate tunnels, not a separate building. Keep that in mind if you are disoriented — you never need to leave the tunnel complex.

The door may already be open if another player has been through. If not, breach it open.

Step 4 – Search for Any Clues in the Locker Room

Go to the back of the locker room and look for an interactive prompt on the wall. There is a box or panel there — interact with it to search for clues.

The mural and items inside the locker room hint at what happened here and point you toward the next step: the vehicle weighing logs. Once you have interacted, the objective updates and you head back downstairs.

Step 5 – Read the Last Vehicle Weighing Logs

Go back down the stairs you used to reach the locker room. At the bottom, look out from the platform you are standing on — you will spot a weighing station in the area below.

Head to it and interact with the right side of the terminal. Reading the logs updates your objective.

Important: Before you walk away from this terminal, look immediately to the right of it. There is a Blue Gate Confiscation Room Key that only spawns here while you have this quest active. Pick it up. This is your guaranteed key for the next objective — do not miss it or you will have to find one elsewhere.

Step 6 – Enter the Confiscation Room

Now head back toward the area where the stairs were to your right — the same section you passed on the way to the locker room. There is a locked Confiscation Room door here.

Use the Blue Gate Confiscation Room Key you picked up next to the weighing logs to open it. If you had one in your inventory already, you can use that instead.

If you do not have a key and missed the one by the logs, you have two options: find another player who has one, or hope the door is already open — this is a fairly popular room and it gets opened regularly during matches.

Step 7 – Transmit MANTIKOR Security’s Last Recordings to Shani

Inside the Confiscation Room, look for a rack in the middle of the room. Climb up onto it using the rack or nearby crates, then interact with the white box on top.

This transmits MANTIKOR security’s final recordings to Shani. The quest is now complete.

All that is left is to extract normally from any extraction point or Raider Hatch, then return to Speranza and speak to Shani to claim your rewards.

Home to Roost – Rewards

Once you speak to Shani after extracting, you receive:

• 1x Surge Shield Recharger
• 2x Sterilized Bandages
• 2x Antiseptic
• 5,000 XP

Completing Home to Roost also unlocks Someone Else’s Shoes, the next quest in Shani’s Frozen Trail chain. Make sure you grab the follow-up from Shani before your next run.

Tips for Home to Roost

• Do not skip the key by the logs. It is easy to read the logs and immediately walk away. The key sits just to the right of the terminal. Pick it up before you leave that area.
• The locker room is not a separate building. Everything is inside the tunnel complex under Checkpoint. You never need to leave the underground area to complete this quest.
• Use the tunnel layout to stay oriented. When you are lost, find the back wall and work backward. The weighing station, stairs, and locker room are all within a short distance of each other.
• Bring a Free Loadout if you want to save gear. There is nothing to extract with, so there is no reason to risk your best weapons and armor for this one.
• Play multiple objectives per raid. The Confiscation Room area connects to other objectives in Blue Gate. If you have other quests or need the Raiders Refuge area, you can knock things out in the same run.
