Facing the romance choice between Blond Blazer and Invisigal in Dispatch Episode 4? Learn what happens with each option, dialogue choices, and how this decision shapes Robert's future relationships.
Just when you thought Episode 4’s biggest choice was behind you, Dispatch throws another curveball your way—but this time, it’s about the heart, not the roster. After dealing with the fallout from cutting either Coupe or Sonar, welcoming a new hero to the team, and managing two intense dispatch shifts, Robert faces a much more personal decision: who does he want to spend his evening with?
Episode 4 marks a turning point where the game transitions from workplace drama to genuine romance territory. The choice between Blond Blazer and Invisigal isn’t just about one evening—it’s potentially locking in Robert’s romantic path for the remainder of the series. No pressure, right?
⚠️ Minor Spoilers Ahead: This guide contains spoilers for the ending of Episode 4 of Dispatch.
Let’s set the scene. It’s been a long, emotionally exhausting day at the dispatch center. You’ve onboarded a new team member, worked through two challenging dispatch sequences with the reshuffled roster, and dealt with the lingering tension from Episode 3’s difficult personnel decision.
As the shift winds down and Robert prepares to head home, he notices something: Invisigal is still at headquarters, quietly watching a movie by herself. At the same moment, Robert’s phone buzzes—it’s a message from Blond Blazer asking if he’d like to join her for a late dinner.
The timing is almost too perfect, isn’t it? Both women are extending invitations at the exact same moment, forcing Robert (and you) to make an immediate choice. There’s no “let me think about it” option, no way to gracefully decline both, and definitely no polygamy route. You have to pick one.
This is classic relationship choice design: two appealing options, both characters you’ve spent four episodes building rapport with, and the knowledge that choosing one means disappointing the other.
What makes this choice feel significant is that Dispatch hasn’t rushed into it. Over the course of four episodes, the game has been carefully developing Robert’s relationship with both Invisigal and Blond Blazer through smaller interactions and dialogue moments.
Invisigal’s Journey: Voiced by the incredible Laura Bailey, Invisigal has been a constant presence throughout the series. You’ve guided her through challenges, supported her during her confrontations with Lightningstruck, and watched her grow as both a hero and a person. There’s a comfort and familiarity to her relationship with Robert—they’ve been through a lot together in a short time.
Blond Blazer’s Mystery: Voiced by Erin Yvette, Blond Blazer has been more enigmatic. As someone higher up in the organization, there’s been a professional distance, but also hints of something more personal underneath. She’s the one who made you choose between Coupe and Sonar, adding a layer of complexity to her character.
By Episode 4, both relationships have been developed enough that either choice feels valid and earned. The game doesn’t suddenly spring romance on you—it’s been building toward this moment.
If you choose to spend the evening with Invisigal, here’s what unfolds:

Robert makes his way to the cinema where Invisigal is watching her movie. She’s clearly happy to see him, and they settle in to watch together. It’s a low-key, comfortable moment—the kind of casual hangout that could easily be read as friendship or as something more romantic depending on what you choose next.
After the movie, you’re presented with three dialogue options that will define the nature of Robert and Invisigal’s relationship:

“We’re getting there.”
“Thought we already were.”
“Do you want to be?”
All three responses acknowledge the romantic tension between them, but they differ in how confidently and directly Robert addresses it. Choose based on how you want Robert to express his feelings and navigate this relationship.
Going with Invisigal feels like the more emotionally safe choice in some ways. You’ve spent more time with her throughout the series, she’s been consistently present, and the relationship has been building naturally through shared experiences at the dispatch center. There’s a “friends to lovers” quality to this path that many players will find appealing.
If you decide to accept Blond Blazer’s dinner invitation, the evening takes a very different turn:

First, the game doesn’t let you off easy. If you choose Blazer, you see Invisigal’s reaction—she’s clearly disappointed that Robert didn’t join her for the movie. It’s a brief but effective moment that makes the weight of your choice tangible. She was hoping he’d come, and he didn’t.
This is good storytelling: your choices have emotional consequences for the characters involved, and the game makes sure you see them.
Robert leaves the office and finds Blond Blazer waiting outside. Then something unexpected happens: she removes her amulet. For those who’ve been paying attention to the lore and character details throughout previous episodes, this is a significant moment. The amulet has been part of her hero identity, and removing it changes her appearance—she’s showing Robert her real self, not her superhero persona.
This is vulnerability. This is trust. This is Blazer saying “I want you to see the real me.”
You’re then presented with three very different dialogue options:
“Why care what I think?”
“KISS HER.”
“You could’ve dressed up.”

After your dialogue choice, Robert and Blazer go to dinner together. The scene emphasizes the more private, intimate nature of this choice compared to the public movie theater with Invisigal. This is a date in the traditional sense—dinner, conversation, getting to know each other outside of work.
Choosing Blazer feels like the more dramatic, “forbidden romance” option. There’s a power dynamic at play (she’s technically Robert’s superior), there’s the mystery of who she really is beneath the superhero persona, and there’s the intense vulnerability of her removing her amulet. This path has a different energy—less comfortable and familiar, more exciting and unknown.
Here’s the critical information: there are no gameplay consequences for choosing either Blazer or Invisigal. The game won’t punish you with worse dispatch outcomes, team relationship penalties, or story roadblocks based on who you spend the evening with.
However—and this is important—the choice appears to lock in your romance path for future episodes.
When we say “no consequences,” we mean:
But the choice does have narrative consequences:
Think of it like this: it’s not mechanically punishing you, but it is directing the narrative down one path or another. The consequences are emotional and story-based, not gameplay-based.
This is the million-dollar question, and honestly, it’s entirely subjective. The writers have done a good job giving both relationships validity:
Shared History: You’ve worked closely with Invisigal throughout the series. You’ve seen her struggle, supported her victories (like capturing Lightningstruck in Episode 3), and built genuine rapport through day-to-day dispatch operations.
Emotional Accessibility: Invisigal has been more emotionally open throughout the series. You understand her motivations, her challenges, and her personality. There are fewer mysteries here—what you see is what you get.
Natural Progression: The relationship has developed organically through shared experiences. It doesn’t feel forced or sudden—it’s been building steadily over four episodes.
Comfort and Compatibility: They work well together professionally, which often translates to personal compatibility. They’re teammates first, which provides a strong foundation.
Depth and Mystery: Blazer has been more enigmatic, which makes her more intriguing to some players. There’s a sense that you’re still discovering who she really is, especially when she removes her amulet.
Emotional Intensity: The power dynamic and the fact that she’s been more reserved makes moments of vulnerability (like the amulet removal) feel more significant and weighted.
Romantic Drama: There’s something inherently compelling about the “boss and employee” dynamic (though the game handles it tastefully). It adds dramatic tension that the Invisigal route doesn’t have.
The Grand Gesture: Blazer asking Robert out for dinner and removing her disguise feels like a bigger romantic statement than Invisigal casually watching a movie.
Both relationships work, which is good game design. The choice should be based on which dynamic appeals to you more:
There’s no wrong answer—just different relationship dynamics that will appeal to different players.
Unlike the Coupe vs Sonar choice in Episode 3, there’s currently no indication that this choice awards different trophies or achievements for each path.
However, if you’re a completionist who wants to see all the content, you’ll eventually want to play through both routes to experience:
Completionist Strategy:
What’s interesting about this choice is its placement in the overall story structure. Episode 4 is essentially the midpoint of the season (assuming a typical 8-episode structure for episodic games like this). Having the romance choice happen at the midpoint is narratively smart:
The timing also works well emotionally. After the stress of cutting a team member in Episode 3, Episode 4 offers something more positive and hopeful—the possibility of romance and connection in the midst of workplace chaos.
From what I’ve seen in the Dispatch community, players seem fairly evenly split between Team Invisigal and Team Blazer, though with a slight edge toward Invisigal:
Team Invisigal: Many players feel more connected to Invisigal because of the time spent with her throughout the series. Laura Bailey’s performance also wins a lot of hearts. Players appreciate the natural progression of the relationship and find it more emotionally satisfying.
Team Blazer: Players who choose Blazer often cite the amulet reveal scene as the deciding factor. The mystery around her character and the dramatic energy of the dinner invitation appeals to those who like more intense romantic narratives.
Interestingly, some players make their choice based on which hero they kept in Episode 3—if they felt guilty about one of their Episode 3 choices, they try to “balance it out” with this decision, which shows how interconnected the narrative feels.
Here’s my advice for approaching this romance choice:
1. Think About the Entire Series: This isn’t just about Episode 4—it’s about the relationship you want to explore for the rest of the game. Which character do you want to see more romantic content with?
2. Consider the Dialogue Options: Look ahead at the dialogue choices each path offers. Do any of them particularly appeal to you? The “KISS HER” option with Blazer is pretty bold—if that excites you, that might be your answer.
3. Replay Value: If you’re planning to replay Dispatch for achievements or just to see different outcomes, don’t stress too much. You can always experience the other path later.
4. Follow Your Gut: Your immediate instinct when presented with the choice is probably the right one for your playthrough. Don’t overthink it—go with who you’re more drawn to.
5. Accept That Someone Will Be Disappointed: Unlike some game choices where you can make everyone happy, this is inherently an either/or situation. That’s okay. It’s realistic and adds emotional weight to your decision.
6. Consider Your Robert: Think about the version of Robert you’ve been playing throughout the series. Based on his previous dialogue choices and actions, who would he naturally gravitate toward? Playing in-character can make the choice feel more authentic.
Don’t just think about who you’re choosing—also consider how you want to express that choice through the dialogue options:
For Invisigal:
For Blazer:
The follow-up dialogue adds another layer of customization to your Robert’s personality and relationship style.
As of Episode 4, we don’t know exactly how these romance paths will develop in future episodes. Will they significantly diverge, or will they follow similar narrative beats with different characters? Will the non-chosen character find happiness elsewhere, or will there be ongoing awkwardness?
What we do know:
Stay updated on when new episodes release to see how your romance choice plays out in the continuing story.
Unlike the Episode 3 choice about cutting team members, which had strategic considerations, this choice is purely about which relationship you find more compelling and want to explore further.
Choose Invisigal if:
Choose Blond Blazer if:
There’s no wrong choice—only the choice that’s right for your version of Robert and your experience with Dispatch.
The romance choice in Dispatch Episode 4 represents a significant narrative moment where the game shifts from workplace drama to personal relationships. Whether you spend the evening at the movies with Invisigal or at dinner with Blond Blazer, you’re making a decision that will shape Robert’s personal life throughout the remaining episodes.
The good news? There are no gameplay penalties for either choice. The potentially bad news? You’ll disappoint someone no matter what you pick. But that’s what makes meaningful choices meaningful—they matter because they have weight.
