Rockstar’s reasoning is almost certainly to prevent early leaks. A disc version floating around stores weeks before launch could mean massive story spoilers. Bottom line: if you want a box for the shelf, you can get one. Just know it is purely cosmetic at launch.

Is GTA 6 Coming to Game Pass or PS Plus?

No. There is currently no confirmation that Grand Theft Auto VI will be available on Xbox Game Pass or PS Plus at launch or anytime soon. Rockstar has not announced any subscription service deal.
