When your health hits zero, hold Circle on PlayStation or B on Xbox. This triggers an Instant Revive, bringing Kliff back to life mid-fight with 30% of his total health. Enemies will start attacking you the moment you stand back up, so you need to be ready to act immediately. Pop a healing item as soon as you revive, dodge away from danger, or use a skill to create distance.
You can use multiple Palmar Pills in a single fight. There is no limit per encounter, so stockpile as many as you can before difficult boss fights. Going in with a full stack gives you multiple second chances in the same battle.
One thing that confuses a lot of players early on: if you open your inventory and try to use a Palmar Pill manually, nothing happens. The pill does not work that way. - 2x Water — Buy from any general merchant or vendor in Hernand. It is cheap and always in stock
- 15x Medicinal Herbs — This is flexible. Almost any plant, flower, or mushroom counts. Rosemary, Lavender, Peony, Marigold, and Begonias all work. So do Pine Mushrooms and Oakwood Mushrooms. Any herb or fungus you pick while exploring will work as a substitute
Medicinal Herbs grow in abundance across Pywel. Patches of Lavender and Rosemary appear all around Hernand and along roadsides. A reliable spot for mushrooms is the foot of the hill near the Greymane camp, where Pine Mushrooms respawn regularly. Use healing items right after revival. 30% health disappears quickly against a boss. Use food or a healing potion in the first second after you are back on your feet.
Do not panic button your revivals. If you die at the very start of a boss fight and have used two pills already, you are now in a worse position than restarting from the checkpoint. Save pills for when you are close to winning.
