007 First Light: All Preorder bonuses are something every Bond fan should know about before buying. IO Interactive has packed in a generous free Deluxe Edition Upgrade for anyone who preorders the game. But with four different editions on offer, it can get confusing fast. Which items do you actually get? What is exclusive to which edition? And once you have the items, how do you even use them? This guide breaks it all down clearly.
What Is the 007 First Light Preorder Bonus?
The headline preorder reward for 007 First Light is simple and generous. Preorder any edition of the game before launch, and you receive the full Deluxe Edition Upgrade at no extra cost. That upgrade is packed with cosmetic items that give James Bond a sharp new look from day one.
Digital preorders come with one extra perk on top of that — 24-hour early access. That means you could start playing on May 26, 2026, a full day before the official May 27 launch. Physical preorders do not include this early access, so if you want to play first, the digital version is the smarter choice.

All 007 First Light Deluxe Edition Items (Full List)

Gleaming Pack — Gadget Skins (4 Total)

All four gadget skins give Bond’s equipment a gold finish, adding a visual flair to the game’s espionage gadgetry.
All 007 First Light Editions Explained
There are four editions of 007 First Light. All of them include the Deluxe Upgrade when preordered. Here is what each one offers beyond that.
Standard Edition ($69.99 / £59.99 / €69.99)
This is the base version of the game. It is available digitally and physically on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. If you preorder digitally, you get the full Deluxe Upgrade plus 24-hour early access. For most players, this is the best value option since the preorder bonus already gives you all the Deluxe content for free.
You can preorder the Standard Edition on PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, Steam, and Epic Games Store.
Specialist Edition (Physical Only — Amazon Exclusive)
The Specialist Edition is essentially the Standard Edition but in a physical disc format, sold exclusively through Amazon. The key difference is one extra cosmetic that no other edition includes:
- Classic Tuxedo Skin — the timeless black-tie Bond look
There is currently no digital way to get the Classic Tuxedo. If you want it, this physical Amazon-exclusive edition is the only route. It also includes all the standard Deluxe Upgrade items.
Collector’s Edition (~$199.99)
This edition is aimed at hardcore Bond fans who want physical memorabilia alongside in-game content. Here is what it includes:
- Base game
- All Deluxe Edition items (from the preorder bonus)
- Obsidian Gold Suit — an armored suit with a golden mask featured in promotional trailers
- Steelbook case with a magnet
- Life-size replica of the villain’s mask
- Certificate of authenticity
The Obsidian Gold Suit is not available separately. It is locked to the Collector’s and Legacy Editions only.
Legacy Edition (~$299.99)
The Legacy Edition is the ultimate version for serious James Bond collectors. It includes almost everything from the Collector’s Edition, plus some premium exclusives:
- Base game
- All Deluxe Edition items
- Obsidian Gold Suit
- Golden Gun weapon skin in-game
- 1:1 scale Golden Gun replica (non-firing, heavyweight collectible)
- Magnetic Steelbook case
- Certificate of authenticity
The Legacy Edition is sold through the official 007 Store and is highly limited. Stock has already been tightening, so if you want it, act quickly.
How to Claim Your 007 First Light Preorder Items
The good news is that claiming your preorder and Deluxe Edition items is mostly automatic. Here is how it works:
Step 1: The Items Are Added Automatically
Once you launch 007 First Light on your platform of choice, the Deluxe Edition items are automatically attached to your account. You do not need to enter a code or visit an external website for the standard preorder bonus. They should simply be there when you load into the game.

Step 2: Open the Customization Menu
From the main menu, navigate to the Customization tab. Here you can browse your unlocked outfits and switch them out. Outfits are divided into four categories: Formal, Casual, Tactical, and Themed. The preorder outfits fall primarily under the Tactical and Themed categories.
Step 3: Equip Outfits in TacSim
One important detail: outfits in 007 First Light are tied to Tactical Simulations (TacSim), a separate mode from the main story. You cannot wear custom outfits during the main campaign. To use your preorder cosmetics, head to Tactical Simulations from the main menu. Once inside, look for the wardrobe area to change Bond’s outfit.
Step 4: Equip Weapon and Gadget Skins
Weapon and gadget skins require one extra step. In the Customization menu, select the specific weapon or gadget you want to reskin. Then press the Customize button (shown on screen) to access the skin options. From there, select your Gleaming Pack skins or the Agent’s Mark weapon skin to apply them.
Step 5: Check Rewards and Bonuses If Items Are Missing
If your items do not appear after launching the game, go to your IOI account on the official website. Under the Rewards & Bonuses tab, you can confirm what has been applied to your account. Make sure cross-progression is enabled in your account settings. A quick page refresh usually resolves any delay.
Bonus Outfits: Free Items Beyond the Preorder
A few extra outfits are available for free outside of preordering:
On Duty Outfit (Free)
You can claim the On Duty outfit simply by creating an account on the official IO Interactive website. Log in and check your Rewards & Bonuses tab to claim it.
Savanna Bloom and Operation Riviera (Free via Wishlist Milestones)
These two outfits were unlocked through community Wishlist Milestones. If you wishlisted the game before launch, check your Rewards & Bonuses section — they should already be available for you.

Midnight Ray Outfit (Free for Hitman Owners)
If you own Hitman: World of Assassination, you qualify for the Midnight Ray outfit — a blue suit with a bow tie. Link both games to the same IOI account and the outfit will appear in your rewards tab.
Casino Suit (Hitman Le Chiffre Event)
The Casino Suit, modeled on Mads Mikkelsen’s Le Chiffre character, is earned by playing the Le Chiffre Elusive Target contract in Hitman: World of Assassination while logged into your IOI account. Note that this is a timed event, so availability may be limited.
Which Edition Should You Buy?
Here is a simple breakdown to help you decide:
- Just want to play the game? Get the digital Standard Edition. The preorder bonus gives you all the Deluxe content for free anyway.
- Want the Classic Tuxedo? Get the Specialist Edition from Amazon. It is the only way to get that outfit.
- Want physical collectibles and the Obsidian Gold Suit? The Collector’s Edition is your pick.
- Ultimate Bond fan? The Legacy Edition with the Golden Gun replica is the top tier — but it is very limited stock.
007 First Light is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. The preorder window has closed as of launch day, so the free Deluxe Upgrade is no longer available to new buyers from May 27, 2026 onward.
