007 First Light PC Requirements: All Tiers at a Glance
IO Interactive released the PC specifications in stages. The Minimum and Recommended targets were shared first, then revised after community feedback. A third update added Enthusiast and Ultra tiers, scaling performance targets all the way up to 4K at 200+ FPS using NVIDIA DLSS 4.5.
One important note before diving in: performance targets for the Minimum, Recommended, and Enthusiast tiers are all based on native rendering. DLSS is only factored into the Ultra tier’s 4K at 200+ FPS target. That means the numbers you see below for the lower tiers are honest, no-upscaling figures.
Minimum PC Requirements — 1080p at 30 FPS (Low Settings)
- OS: Windows 10 / 11, 64-bit
- CPU: Intel Core i5-9500 or AMD Ryzen 5 3500
- RAM: 16 GB

The GTX 1660 meets the minimum requirements for 1080p at 30 FPS. This tier is for older or budget machines. You will be able to run the game, but do not expect high frame rates or detailed visuals. A 6-core processor is the absolute baseline — if you are using an older 4-core CPU, you may experience frame time spikes that make the game feel stuttery even if your average FPS looks acceptable.
Recommended PC Requirements — 1080p at 60 FPS (Medium Settings)

If you are on a 4K display and want a locked 60 FPS without upscaling, this is where your hardware needs to be. Note that DLSS is still not being factored into this tier — these are native rendering targets.
Ultra PC Requirements — 4K at 200+ FPS (with DLSS 4.5)

The Ultra tier targets 4K at 200+ FPS using DLSS 4.5, calling for a Core i5-13600K or Ryzen 7 7700X, an RTX 5080, and 32GB of RAM. This is where NVIDIA’s newest frame generation stack takes over. 007 First Light scales all the way up to 4K at 200+ FPS with DLSS 4.5 enabled, and the highest preset specifically calls for an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 — making this one of the first major titles to openly target NVIDIA’s newest generation of GPUs.
The extra 32GB of RAM at this tier matters too. At 4K with maxed-out settings, system memory becomes more of a factor, especially in dense open areas with many active NPCs.
Storage: SSD Is Required for All Tiers
IO Interactive has confirmed an 80GB SSD requirement across all tiers. Unlike many games that list an SSD as “recommended,” 007 First Light makes it mandatory. An SSD is not officially required by some sources, but it is strongly recommended for loading times and streaming performance. Given the size of the game’s open environments and active NPC systems, having your game on a hard drive will likely result in noticeable texture pop-in and loading delays regardless of your other specs.
Make sure you have at least 80GB of free space cleared before installing.
DLSS 4.5 and PC-Exclusive Features
IO Interactive has highlighted exclusive PC features including uncapped framerate, NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 dynamic multi-frame generation and super resolution, path tracing, and DLSS Ray Reconstruction.
However, not everything is available at launch. While 007 First Light will have a unique path tracing mode on PC, it will be released post-launch in Summer 2026. This means PC players will not be able to access this mode on day one.

How Demanding Is 007 First Light on CPU?
007 First Light is heavily dependent on the CPU due to the “Living World” AI system, where hundreds of NPCs have their own routines and reactions to Bond’s actions. This is different from many modern shooters that put nearly all the work on the GPU.
For a smooth experience, especially if you plan on using Frame Generation, an 8-core CPU like the Ryzen 7 7700X or Intel i7-14700K is highly recommended to handle the extra processing overhead. If you are pairing a high-end GPU with an older 4-core processor, the CPU may become a bottleneck before the GPU does.
