- The 2x Sprite XP method in Fortnite Runners means stacking every available Sprite XP boost in one match instead of using just one
- Lighting a Campfire while a Sprite is equipped grants Double Sprite XP for the rest of the match during the Summer Event
- Containers give 75 MP, eliminations give 200 MP, and extracting a duplicate Sprite gives 200 MP — those numbers double when a boost is active
- Quack Snacks instantly grant one Sprite level and can be bought from Vending Machines for 1,500 Gold each
- Mastery Monday doubles MP from all three sources every week from 9 AM ET Monday to 9 AM ET Tuesday
- Only the Sprite currently on your back earns XP — Sprites sitting in storage gain nothing, even mid-match
- The teleporter tunnel network is the fastest low-risk way to stack container MP without fighting
The fastest way to master Sprites in Fortnite Runners isn’t picking one method, it’s stacking all of them in the same match. A Campfire boost plus Mastery Monday plus a Quack Snack or two can take a Sprite from Level 1 to Level 5 before the storm even closes in. Here’s exactly how each piece works and how to layer them.
How Sprite XP Actually Works in Fortnite Runners
Before stacking boosts, it helps to know the baseline numbers. A Sprite earns Mastery Points (MP) three ways: opening a container gives 75 MP, getting an elimination gives 200 MP, and extracting a duplicate Sprite gives 200 MP. Only the Sprite equipped on your back earns any of this — Sprites parked in your other slots get nothing, no matter how long the match runs. For the full breakdown of MP totals and rewards, check the Sprite Mastery guide.
The Fortnite Runners 2x Sprite XP Method Explained
Right now there are two separate sources of Double Sprite XP, and they stack with each other.

Campfire Double Sprite XP (Summer Event)
During the Summer Event, lighting any Campfire on the map while you have a Sprite equipped grants Double Sprite XP for the rest of that match. This isn’t tied to a timer, it lasts the whole game once triggered. Head to a Campfire on the edge of the map to avoid contested fights, light it, then start farming containers.

Mastery Monday Double Sprite XP
Every Monday from 9 AM ET through 9 AM ET Tuesday, all three MP sources are doubled account-wide, no Campfire required. A container jumps from 75 to 150 MP, an elimination from 200 to 400 MP. If your Campfire boost and Mastery Monday line up in the same session, you’re stacking two separate multipliers on top of your base MP gain. See the full Mastery Monday breakdown for the exact schedule and what else it boosts.
Fastest Way to Farm Containers for Sprite XP
Once your XP boost is active, container farming is the safest way to cash it in. The teleporter tunnel network is the best route for this — there are five underground tunnels across the map, each loaded with chests and ammo boxes, connected by teleporters at the end of each tunnel. Enter one, open everything inside, teleport to the next, and repeat. You can chain most of a match this way without ever needing a fight. Pair this with a Campfire boost and you’re looking at 150 MP per container instead of 75.

Using Quack Snacks to Skip Sprite Levels
Quack Snacks are the shortcut option. Each one instantly grants your equipped Sprite a full level, no MP grinding required. They show up as ground loot and in Chests, but the reliable source is Vending Machines for 1,500 Gold each. If you’re farming Gold at the same POI anyway — Cash Registers and Chests both drop it — a couple of Quack Snacks can finish off a Sprite that’s one level short. Full details are in the Quack Snacks guide.
Best Sprite Leveling Route: Stacking Every Method Together
Here’s how to combine all of it in one session:
- Play during Mastery Monday for the account-wide 2x MP boost
- Land near a Campfire, light it immediately with your target Sprite equipped for a second stacking boost
- Rotate through the nearest teleporter tunnel network to farm containers safely
- Buy a Quack Snack or two from a nearby Vending Machine if you’re close to Level 5 but running out of time
- Extract at an Extraction Site or with a Portable Extractor the moment you hit Level 5
One important note: Sprite XP is nerfed in bot lobbies, so stick to regular matchmaking if you’re serious about grinding. You also don’t need to finish in one match — extracting at Level 3 saves that progress, and you can pick up where you left off next game.
Fortnite Runners Sprite Mastery FAQ
Does the Campfire XP boost stack with Mastery Monday?
Yes. They’re separate sources, so lighting a Campfire during a Mastery Monday session gives you both multipliers on top of your base MP.
Do Quack Snacks work on any Sprite?
Quack Snacks grant a level to whichever Sprite is currently equipped on your back, so make sure you have the right one out before using one.
What happens if I die before extracting a leveled-up Sprite?
You lose the Sprite and the progress on it for that match. Extracting at an Extraction Site or with a Portable Extractor is what locks in the level, even if it’s not yet Level 5.
While you’re grinding a route, it’s worth swinging by Golden Fishing Spots too — they’re the same locations tied to this event’s Fortnite Runners Exotics, so you can farm Sprite XP and Exotic drops in the same loop.
