TL;DR
- The 2024 Koenigsegg Gemera is a four-seat plug-in hybrid hypercar producing up to 1,400 hp in its standard configuration.
- In FH6, it sits in S2 Class and is rated the best all-around S2 car at launch.
- It comes via the Car Pass — the second weekly drop, available from May 28, 2026.
- Unlike most S2 speed monsters, the Gemera is actually controllable on road circuits.
- It features all-wheel drive and all-wheel steering — a first for any Koenigsegg.
- The Car Pass is included with Deluxe and Premium editions, or available separately.
Most S2-class hypercars in Forza Horizon 6 are a trade. You get insane speed, and you give up the ability to use it anywhere technical. The Koenigsegg Gemera breaks that rule. It is fast enough to compete with the S2 elite, and it is actually driveable in races that involve corners. That combination makes it the most useful hypercar in the class — and one of the most interesting cars in the entire game.
This guide covers the real car, its in-game stats, how to get it, and how it fits into FH6’s S2 landscape.
Koenigsegg Gemera in Forza Horizon 6: Overview
The 2024 Koenigsegg Gemera is the best all-around S2 car in FH6. It does not quite match the raw top speed of the Nissan GT-R Forza Edition, but it wins where it counts — handling. The Gemera is fast, controllable, and actually useable on road circuits. That combination is rare at S2.
S2 is hypercar territory in FH6. Top speeds regularly push past 250 mph with tuning. But raw speed alone does not win races in Japan. The map is full of technical mountain roads, tight expressway bends, and touge-style passes where braking and rotation matter far more than a high top-speed number. The Gemera handles all of that better than almost anything else in S2.
The Gemera is a close second to the Nissan GT-R Forza Edition in straight-line speed, falling behind just a little — but it wins in handling. If you want a car you can actually use for racing, the Gemera is even better than the GT-R R35 for that purpose.

How to Get the Koenigsegg Gemera in FH6
The Gemera is a Car Pass vehicle. It is available with the Forza Horizon 6 Car Pass starting May 28, 2026 — the second weekly Car Pass drop of the season.
The Car Pass delivers 30 new cars over the post-launch period, one per week. Car Pass is included in the Forza Horizon 6 Deluxe and Premium Editions, as well as the Premium Upgrade, and is also sold separately. If you own either of those editions, the Gemera drops straight into your garage on May 28 with no extra steps needed.
If you are on the base edition, you will need to purchase the Car Pass separately to access it. Check what edition you own before spending extra — Deluxe and Premium owners already have it included.

Koenigsegg Gemera In-Game Performance
The Gemera sits in S2 Class in FH6. Its defining strength is the balance between outright speed and real-world usability. It can hold its own against the fastest S2 cars in straight-line events, while outperforming almost all of them once the road turns technical.
In terms of where it places competitively in the S2 class:
- Class: S2
- Type: Hypercar
- Drivetrain: AWD (all-wheel drive)
- Best use: Road racing, mixed-surface circuits, technical tracks
- S2 ranking: Best all-around pick at launch
The AWD layout is a major reason the Gemera handles better than most S2 rivals. This is the first time Koenigsegg has put an all-wheel drive and all-wheel steering system on a car. That real-world engineering advantage translates directly into how stable the car feels in the game — especially through fast, sweeping corners where RWD hypercars start to break loose.
For players building a competitive S2 garage, the Gemera is the first car to target. It does not require expert-level driving skills to get results. It is forgiving enough to reward consistent lines rather than punishing small errors like many other S2 machines do.

Koenigsegg Gemera vs Other S2 Cars
S2 in FH6 has some strong competition. Here is how the Gemera compares to the main rivals:
Koenigsegg Gemera vs Nissan GT-R R35 Forza Edition
The GT-R Forza Edition is the drag king of S2. It can reach over 300 mph with tuning, making it a drag racing monster. Just know that turning at speed is very difficult — keep it for straight-line events and speed traps, not technical circuits. The Gemera beats it anywhere the road turns. If you are racing circuits or touge-style routes, the Gemera wins consistently.
Koenigsegg Gemera vs Porsche 918 Spyder
The 2014 Porsche 918 Spyder is another excellent S2 choice. Its acceleration and launch are still among the best in the class, and it has comfortable steering, making it one of the best S2 cars for beginners who want something fast but forgiving. The 918 is more accessible for new players, but the Gemera edges it in outright performance and top-end pace once you are confident in the class.
Koenigsegg Gemera vs Hennessey Venom F5
The Venom F5 is a top-speed specialist. The Hennessey Venom F5 delivers exceptional straight-line speed while often providing a more affordable in-game alternative compared to other top-tier hypercars. In a straight line it is formidable, but it lacks the handling balance of the Gemera on circuit. Choose the Venom for speed traps and drag events, the Gemera for actual racing.
Koenigsegg Gemera vs Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series
The AMG GT Black Series is a strong S2 road racing option, particularly for players who got it through the Welcome Pack. It is more grounded and easier to control at S2 speeds. The Gemera still out-performs it in peak pace, but if you want something slightly more manageable, the AMG is a fair choice. See our Ferrari FXX-K Evo performance guide for how R-Class compares to S2 at the top end.
The Real Koenigsegg Gemera: What It Is
The Koenigsegg Gemera is one of the most unusual hypercars ever built. It is a limited production four-seat plug-in hybrid grand tourer manufactured by Koenigsegg, first unveiled on 3 March 2020 at an online broadcast during the cancelled Geneva Motor Show. The name is a combination of the Swedish words “ge” and “mera,” which translate to “give more.” It is the company’s first four-seater car.
The powertrain is where things get extraordinary. The production version of the Gemera uses a 2.0L twin-turbocharged three-cylinder engine paired with a Dark Matter electric motor on the front axle, delivering a combined output of 1,400 hp in the standard TFG configuration. An optional HV8 variant replaces the three-cylinder with a 5.0L twin-turbocharged V8, pushing the combined figure to an almost incomprehensible 2,300 hp.
FH6 features the 2024 production Gemera using the standard TFG powertrain. The Gemera sports three electric engines — two on the back wheels and the Dark Matter engine sitting on the front axle — as well as a 2.0 twin-turbocharged gas engine.
Performance figures in the real car are staggering. The Gemera HV8 is estimated to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 1.7 seconds, from 0 to 100 km/h in 1.8 seconds, and from 0 to 300 km/h in 7.8 seconds. Even the standard 1,400 hp TFG version is comfortably under two seconds to 60 mph.
What makes the Gemera genuinely unlike any other Koenigsegg is its real-world usability. It has four seats, a proper interior with infotainment and passenger comforts, and a claimed range of over 900 miles. It was designed to be a hypercar you could theoretically use every day — and yet it performs on a level that embarrasses dedicated track machines. That philosophy carries directly into how the car plays in FH6: it is the hypercar that actually works in a race.
Production is limited to 300 units, all already accounted for. Koenigsegg began production of the Gemera six years after its original reveal, building it alongside the CC850.
Tips for Using the Gemera in FH6
The Gemera’s AWD system means it launches cleaner and recovers faster from oversteer than most S2 rivals. Use this to your advantage in acceleration zones and out of slow corners. You can apply power earlier than you would in a RWD car without the rear stepping out.
On touge-style roads and mountain passes, the Gemera’s handling advantage over other S2 cars is most obvious. The all-wheel steering makes mid-corner adjustments easier and gives the car a planted feel even at high speed. See our guide to the best roads and mountain passes to find the routes where the Gemera dominates.
For Goliath and long-distance events in S2, the Gemera is one of the strongest choices. Its balance of speed and stability means less risk of running wide over a long race. Check our Goliath Race and Colossus guide for event-specific strategy.
The Gemera is also an excellent choice for speed traps and speed zone challenges, where its straight-line punch competes with the fastest cars in S2. For earning credits quickly through these events, see our guide to earning credits fast in FH6.
If you want to tune the Gemera for a specific class cap — say, dropping it into S1 for specific events — our tuning and setup guide covers the upgrade order and baseline settings to do that cleanly.
Seasonal Events and the Car Pass Schedule
The Gemera arrives during Series 1 of FH6’s post-launch season schedule. Car Pass delivers 30 new cars that, one by one, are delivered to your garage weekly starting on May 19. The schedule for the first four weeks includes: May 19 — 1990 Nissan Skyline GT-R (BNR32 Gr.
