Forza Horizon 6 Soundtrack Overview

Music has always been a big part of what makes Forza Horizon feel like a festival. In Forza Horizon 6, Playground Games went further than ever. The result is the largest licensed soundtrack in the history of the series — over 225 tracks spread across 9 radio stations, confirmed officially on May 4, 2026.

Six stations return from Forza Horizon 5: Horizon Pulse, Horizon Bass Arena, Horizon Block Party, Horizon XS, Horizon Wave, and Hospital Records. Three are completely new for FH6: Gacha City Radio, Sub Pop Records, and Horizon Opus.

The Japan setting had a huge influence on the choices. For the first time ever, J-pop, anime music, and classic Japanese city pop are part of the official Horizon Festival lineup through Gacha City Radio. This makes FH6’s soundtrack feel genuinely different from past entries.

You can listen to the full soundtrack right now on Spotify. Playground Games released official playlists for every station ahead of launch. Links are included under each station below.

If you are new to the game, the Forza Horizon 6 Beginners Guide is a good place to start before diving into the full music list.

What Are the New Radio Stations in Forza Horizon 6?

Three stations are completely new in FH6. Each one fills a gap that previous games never had.

Gacha City Radio is the biggest addition. It is the first dedicated Japanese music station in any Forza Horizon game. The lineup includes current J-pop chart hits, 1980s city pop classics, and anime opening themes. Yellow Magic Orchestra appearing alongside YOASOBI is a nice touch — it covers the full history of Japanese pop music in one station.

Sub Pop Records brings a real record label into the game for the first time. Sub Pop is one of the most respected indie labels in the world, and the station reflects that. It is a quieter, more laid-back station compared to the rest.

Horizon Opus replaces any need for silence. If you want to drive without lyrics or heavy beats, this station gives you a cinematic soundtrack that feels like driving through a film. The Max Richter and Ólafur Arnalds tracks in particular are highlights.

FH6 Soundtrack – Notable Artists Worth Highlighting

Linkin Park return to the Forza Horizon series for the first time in years. Their track on Horizon XS is from their 2024 album, the first with new vocalist Emily Armstrong.

BABYMETAL appear twice on Horizon XS — a nod to the Japan setting and to the band’s global fanbase. Both tracks are iconic choices.

YOASOBI are one of the biggest names in Japanese music right now, and their appearance on Gacha City Radio is one of the most exciting inclusions in the whole soundtrack.

Yellow Magic Orchestra appear twice on Gacha City Radio. Their 1979 track RYDEEN is one of the most famous Japanese electronic tracks ever made. Having it in a Forza game is a genuine moment.

The Midnight on Horizon Wave is an obvious fit. They are arguably the biggest name in modern synthwave and their inclusion will please a lot of players.

Forza Horizon 6 Soundtrack Spotify Playlists

Playground Games released official Spotify playlists for every station. You can find them by searching for “FORZA (2026)” followed by the station name. For example: FORZA (2026) Horizon Pulse – FH6. All 9 playlists were made available before the game launched on May 19, 2026.

This is a great way to preview each station and figure out which one fits your driving style before you get into the game.

Tips for Using the Radio in Forza Horizon 6

A few things worth knowing about the radio and soundtrack in FH6:

  • Skill farming tip: Use Horizon Wave or Horizon Opus while skill farming. Both stations have long tracks — some running 5 to 8 minutes — which gives you more time to build your skill chain without the song ending and breaking your rhythm.
  • Streamer mode: If you stream on Twitch, YouTube, or Kick, turn on Streamer Mode in the Background Music settings. Licensed tracks will trigger copyright mutes without it. The toggle is specifically for this purpose.
  • Station switching: You can change stations at any time while driving. There is no cooldown or restriction. Find what fits your mood and switch freely.

For more ways to maximize your time in the game, the Seasonal Events and Festival Playlist Guide is worth reading, and the How to Earn Credits Fast guide covers the best farming methods in detail.
