How to Unlock Barn Finds in Forza Horizon 6
To unlock Barn Find rumors, you must earn Discover Japan Stamps. These stamps come from earning Discover Japan points through exploration activities. You can track your progress here:
Campaign Menu > Collection Journal > Discover Japan
There are 7 stamp tiers in total. Each new tier unlocks a batch of new Barn Find locations on your map. You need to reach the Gold (Master Explorer) stamp to see all 15. This also earns you the Master Explorer achievement/trophy.
If you physically drive to a barn before you have the required stamp, nothing happens. The car will not appear. You must earn the stamp first.

Below is the complete list of all 15 Barn Find cars. The cars themselves are always the same across every playthrough. The order rumors unlock may vary slightly, but you will always get the same 15 cars.
1. Honda NSX-R GT – Ohtani Region
Stamp Required: Yellow (Visitor)
This is one of the first Barn Find rumors you will get. Head to the south of the Ohtani region near the river. Look for the curvy road to the east that bends into two hairpin turns. Follow the dirt path up the hill from there and you will find the barn.
The Honda NSX-R GT is a track-focused version of the NSX. It was built for Japanese GT racing and is one of the cleanest-looking cars in the game.
2. Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500 – Ito Region
Stamp Required: Yellow (Visitor)
This one is easy to find. It sits east of Tokyo City near a major road intersection. The barn is practically roadside, so it is one of the least tricky to locate once the rumor is active.
The RS500 was a Group A racing legend built in the late 1980s. A classic European touring car that feels right at home in Japan.
3. Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R – Nangan Region
Stamp Required: Green
Head to the northeast corner of the large lake in the Nangan region, near the Hakone Nanamagari Touge route. The barn is tucked away close to the water. If you have done the Hakone Nanamagari Touge, you may already know this area well.
This is the original Godzilla — the very first Skyline GT-R from the early 1970s. Its touring car racing record is legendary.
4. Nissan PAO – Minamino Region
Stamp Required: Green
This little retro city car is hiding in the western side of the Minamino region, near the Arashiyama Takao Touge route. Head north along the dirt road from the Cedar Run Street Racing event. At the bend, turn right. A small road leads to the barn, but it does not show on the minimap.
The Nissan PAO is a quirky retro-styled car from 1989. Not fast, but one of the most charming finds in the game.
5. Ford GT – Ito Region
Stamp Required: Blue

The 2005 Ford GT brought the GT40 spirit back to life. It is one of the most iconic American supercars ever made.
6. Lincoln Continental – Hokubu Region
Stamp Required: Pink (Pathfinder)
Go to the middle of the Hokubu region. Search southwest of the Shikisai-No-Oka flower fields. Follow the orange road through the fields heading southwest, then take the next left onto a dirt track. The barn is at the end of that path.
The 1962 Lincoln Continental is the classic American luxury car. Big, bold, and unmistakable.
7. Nissan #23 Pennzoil NISMO Skyline GT-R – Takashiro Region
Stamp Required: Pink (Pathfinder)
Search the western half of the Takashiro region. Drive north along the white mountain road directly east of the waterfall and shrine. Near the Waterfall Trail dirt race route, look for a gravel road and car park on the right. The barn is the building at the end.
This race-spec R33 Skyline GT-R ran in Japanese GT racing under the Pennzoil NISMO banner. A very cool piece of motorsport history.
8. Porsche 911 Turbo 3.3 – Southern Ohtani Region
Stamp Required: Pink (Pathfinder)
Look in southern Ohtani, close to the Tokyo City border. This one is not hard to spot once the search circle appears on your map.
The 1982 Porsche 911 Turbo 3.3 is a 930-generation car. Known for its wide body, huge rear wing, and unpredictable handling. Still one of the most exciting Porsches ever made.
9. Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 – Shimanoyama Region
Stamp Required: Orange
This rally legend is found in the top-middle of the Shimanoyama region, north of a small town area. The search zone is in a hilly, forested part of the map.
The 205 T16 won the World Rally Championship twice in the mid-1980s. One of the most celebrated rally cars of all time.
10. Mitsubishi Montero Evolution – Shimanoyama Region
Stamp Required: Orange
Head to the middle-east side of the Shimanoyama region. This barn sits in a wooded area. Use Drone Mode to scout the purple search circle if you are struggling to spot it on foot.
The Mitsubishi Montero Evolution was built for Dakar Rally competition. A serious off-road machine.
11. Lamborghini Diablo SV – Ito Region
Stamp Required: Orange
Head to the middle of the Ito region, slightly west. You cannot reach this barn from the coastal road below — there is no path through from that side. Go east from the Unlimited Offroad Yahikoyama Cross Country event, or northeast from Ito Airfield. The barn sits in a clearing made by woodcutters.
The Diablo SV is one of the most famous Lamborghinis ever. Raw, loud, and spectacular.
12. Mitsubishi #1 Sierra Sierra Enterprises Lancer Evolution Time Attack – Shimanoyama Region
Stamp Required: Purple (Adventurer)

This is a time attack-spec Lancer Evolution. An extreme version of one of the greatest rally-bred road cars ever built.
13. Nissan R390 GT1 – Ohtani Region
Stamp Required: Purple (Adventurer)
Head to the southwest corner of the Ohtani region. Follow the off-road trail west and watch the right side. This is one of the rarest barn finds in the game.
The Nissan R390 GT1 was built as a road-legal version of Nissan’s Le Mans race car. Only one was ever made for the road. An incredible piece of motorsport engineering.
14. Nissan #11 Tomica Skyline Turbo Super Silhouette – Ito Region
Stamp Required: Gold (Master Explorer)
This one is northeast of the Ito Airfield. Drive east along the off-road trail near the Kitayama Big Daisugi and watch for the path on the right.
The Super Silhouette Skyline is one of the wildest racing cars ever made in Japan. Its massive aero kit and boxy body came from the anything-goes Super Silhouette racing era of the early 1980s.
15. Mazda #55 787B – Takashiro Region
Stamp Required: Gold (Master Explorer)
The 787B sits in the middle of the Takashiro region, near an off-road trail southwest of Hirosaki Castle. Head south on the trail, take the exit to the left, and follow the path to the barn.
This is the best barn find car in Forza Horizon 6. The Mazda 787B was the first and only Japanese car to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans, doing so in 1991 with its iconic four-rotor engine. It has the best overall racing stats of any barn find — top speed, acceleration, handling, braking. All exceptional.

Barn Find Restoration – How Long Does It Take?
After you discover a barn, the car is taken away for restoration. You cannot drive it right away. This is different from Treasure Cars, which are ready to use the moment you find them.
Restoration usually takes a few hours of real playtime. The game will notify you through Mei once the car is ready. If you do not want to wait, go to Cars > Barn Finds in the menu and pay Credits to restore instantly.
Most cars cost a modest amount. The Mazda 787B is the exception — it costs millions of Credits to restore right away. Unless you are flush with Credits, it is usually better to let the timer run on that one.
Tips to Find Barn Finds Faster
- Use Drone Mode – When the purple search circle appears on your map, switch to Drone Mode (ANNA) and fly around the circle. The drone highlights the barn when you get close enough, which is much quicker than driving around guessing.
