Most Treasure Cars in FH6 hide in towns, on cliff edges, or next to identifiable structures. The Nissan Safari Turbo does things differently. It is tucked inside a heavily forested mountain area in the Ito region, parked under a windmill among trees and dirt tracks, well away from the main roads most players stick to.

The clue photo mentions a Wind Farm — fair enough. But Ito is one of the largest and most mountainous regions on the map, and the Wind Farm is not labelled in an obvious way that jumps out at you. Players who try to scan the coastline or the lower roads end up going in circles.

Nissan Safari Turbo Treasure Car Location in Forza Horizon 6

The 1985 Nissan Safari Turbo is parked at the base of a windmill near the Wind Farm on the northernmost mountain of the Ito region. More precisely, it is on the west side of that mountain, beside some railings and boxes on the dirt path — about halfway up the winding track that climbs the hill.

Your best map anchors are the Turbine Trailer Drift Zone and the Toyota 2000GT Barn Find location. The Safari sits just slightly southwest of the Turbine Trailer Drift Zone. If you can spot that event marker on your map, you are close. The Barn Find and Minka House are landmarks you will pass on the way up from the northeast side — once those are behind you, take the winding dirt path that climbs the hill and you will reach the Wind Farm and the Safari without much trouble.

The key thing to remember: you need to be on the northeast side of Ito, heading for the northernmost point of the region. Do not waste time scanning the lower roads or the southern half of the map. Ito is large and mountainous — the Safari is at the very top, not the middle.

Step-by-Step: How to Find the Nissan Safari Turbo

Drive into the Ito region until Mei sends you the Safari Turbo clue photo.
Head to the northeast side of Ito — aim for the northernmost point of the region on your map.
Pass the Toyota 2000GT Barn Find location and the Minka House as landmarks along the way.
Find the winding dirt path that climbs the hill toward the Wind Farm at the top.
Follow the dirt path up — about halfway up, on the west side, look for a windmill with railings and boxes nearby.
The Nissan Safari Turbo is parked right at the base of that specific turbine.
Drive up and press X to collect it.

Drone Is Your Best Friend in Forested Terrain

The trees around the Wind Farm area make this one trickier to spot from road level than most Treasure Cars. Once you are in the right part of northern Ito, pull out the drone and scan from above the tree line. The windmills stand out clearly even through the canopy, and the purple collect icon appears the moment you get close enough to the Safari. From there, ANNA guides you straight to it on the ground.

How to Claim the Nissan Safari Turbo

Same as every other Treasure Car — drive up, wait for the prompt, hit X. Short cutscene, and the Safari drops into your garage for free. No Credits, no timers, no conditions.

It will sit there under that windmill indefinitely. There is no pressure to rush, whether you find it in your first visit to Ito or your tenth.

And the moment you collect it — spend one Skill Point on it immediately. That is 10,000 XP, instant, the highest bonus available for a single Skill Point spend on any car in the game. You have to explore to trigger the clue. Mei only sends the photo once you have covered enough of the region. No shortcuts — just drive around and it comes naturally.
