Forza Horizon 6 introduces a brand new collectible system called Treasure Cars. These are real cars hidden across Japan’s massive open world map. Each one is completely free — no Credits, no auction house, no grinding.
The way it works is simple. As you explore a region, your co-driver Mei sends you a photograph clue. That photo hints at where a hidden car is parked somewhere in the area. Your job is to figure out the exact spot and drive to it.
There are nine Treasure Cars in total — one for each region. The 1991 Nissan Figaro is the first one most players encounter, because it sits in the Tokyo region, which you explore early in the game.

Nissan Figaro Treasure Car Location in Forza Horizon 6
The Nissan Figaro is parked in a small car park on the southern edge of Tokyo City. More specifically, it sits near the waterfront — roughly halfway between the two large bridges that connect the main city to the nearby island of Daikoku.
If you look at the map, you want to be in the lower part of central Tokyo, close to the river bank. The Rainbow Bridge is visible from this area, which matches the photograph clue you receive from Mei.
The car park itself is small and easy to miss if you are driving fast through traffic. Slow down as you approach the waterfront road and look for a small open lot off to the side. The Figaro will be parked there, a little dusty but intact.
Step-by-Step: How to Get to the Nissan Figaro
- Drive around Tokyo until Mei contacts you and sends the Figaro photo clue.
- Head to the southern waterfront area of Tokyo City on your map.
- Look for the stretch of road between the two bridges leading to Daikoku island.
- Drive slowly along the waterfront — the car park is on the inland side of the road.
- Once you get close enough, an icon appears on your map automatically.
- Follow the icon, drive up to the Figaro, and press X (or the on-screen prompt) to claim it.
Pro Tip: Use the Drone
If you are having trouble finding the exact spot, use the drone feature to scan the area from above. It covers ground much faster than driving around blind. Once you are in the right part of the southern waterfront, pull out the drone and look for the Figaro sitting in a small lot near the water.
Getting close to the car is enough to reveal its icon on the map, so once you spot it from the air, you can mark it and let ANNA guide you straight there.
How to Claim the Nissan Figaro
Claiming the car could not be easier. Drive up to it, wait for the on-screen prompt, and press X. That single button press adds the 1991 Nissan Figaro to your garage at absolutely no cost. A short cutscene plays and then the car is yours.
You do not need to rush. Treasure Cars are not time-limited. The Figaro will be waiting in that parking lot until you get there, whether that is day one or several hours into the game.
After you claim it, remember to spend one Skill Point on the Figaro. You get an immediate 10,000 XP for doing so — the highest XP bonus available for spending a single skill point on any car type in the game.

It is completely free. You are not spending Credits, Wheelspins, or any in-game currency. You just drive to a spot and press a button. There is no reason not to claim it.
Beyond being free, the Figaro is genuinely unique. You cannot buy it in the Car Showroom. You cannot find it on the auction house. The only way to own it in Forza Horizon 6 is by finding it as a Treasure Car. That alone makes it a worthwhile addition to any garage.
It is also a great car for the Photo Mode. The pastel colour, soft curves, and retro Japanese styling make it one of the most photogenic cars in the game, especially around Tokyo’s streets and waterfront areas.

Tips for Finding Treasure Cars Faster
Here are a few things that will save you time when hunting Treasure Cars across the map.
- Explore naturally. You do not need to chase Treasure Cars. Just play the game and Mei will send the photo when you have explored enough of the region.
- Use the drone immediately. Once you have the clue photo, switch to drone mode in the rough area shown in the image. It is much faster than driving around guessing.
- Look for it, do not drive past it. These are parked in corners, side streets, and small lots. Slow down when you are close to the right area.
- Check the photo clue carefully. Every photo includes at least one identifiable landmark — a bridge, a windmill, a convenience store. Use that as your anchor point on the map.
- Spend a Skill Point right away. The 10,000 XP bonus is yours instantly. Do not sit on it.
