This encounter takes a completely different approach—it’s all about food! To trigger Recipe’s Heir, you need to eat all 10 Qinghe regional specialty dishes. These are purchased from food stalls around the region using Commerce Coins — not regular gold.

There are five food stalls across Qinghe, each selling two dishes: a Signature Dish (15 Commerce Coins) and a Home-Cooked Meal (50 Commerce Coins). To buy the Home-Cooked Meal, you need to be at least Acquaintance friendship level with the vendor. In total, you’ll need 325 Commerce Coins to purchase all ten meals.

3. Find a secluded spot to mourn the pheasant — an Elder will mistake you for a ghost; speak with him
4. Return the pheasant to Boss Xie
5. Stand by the stove and watch another person cook; then ask Boss Xie to eat your Crispy Pheasant
6. Cook a Crispy Pheasant at the cooking station
