Eternal Flower Floette is one of the most iconic Pokemon in the entire franchise. It was hidden in the code of Pokemon X & Y back in 2013 — but it was never officially released. For over a decade, players could only read about it, never catch it.
That changed with Pokemon Legends: Z-A, which finally made it obtainable. And now, Pokemon Champions lets you bring it into competitive battles.
This guide covers exactly how to get Eternal Flower Floette and the Floettite Mega Stone in Pokemon Champions, step by step.

What Is Eternal Flower Floette?
Eternal Flower Floette is a unique form of Floette. It looks completely different from regular Floette — with a blue lower body, red accents, and a rare black flower that no longer exists in the world.
Unlike regular Floette, it cannot evolve into Florges. But it can Mega Evolve into Mega Floette using the Floettite Mega Stone.
It is also the only Pokemon that can learn Light of Ruin — a powerful 140 base power Fairy-type move, though it comes with recoil.
In Pokemon Champions, Mega Floette carries the Fairy Aura ability. This boosts the power of all Fairy-type moves on the field — for both Floette and its allies. That makes it a serious threat in doubles.
Step 1: Get Eternal Flower Floette in Pokemon Legends: Z-A
This is the hard part. Eternal Flower Floette is a deep post-game reward in Legends: Z-A. You cannot get it during the main story.
First, Beat the Main Story
You must complete Main Story Mission 37 and roll the credits. There is no shortcut here.
Then, Unlock the Infinite Z-A Royale
After the credits, talk to Vinnie at Centrico Plaza. This unlocks the Infinite Z-A Royale — an ongoing battle challenge that runs indefinitely.
Win 15 Reward Matches
This is the grind. To earn a Reward Match, you must first collect a Challenger Ticket. Each Challenger Ticket requires 50,000 Ranking Points, earned by winning battles in the Infinite Z-A Royale.
You need to do this 15 times total. That means 15 Challenger Tickets, 15 Reward Matches, and 15 promotion-style battles.
Defeat Your Rival in the 15th Match
On your 15th Reward Match, you face your rival — Urbain or Taunie. Defeat them, sit through the cutscenes, and they will hand over Eternal Flower Floette along with the Floettite Mega Stone.
This is one of the hardest things to unlock in Legends: Z-A. It takes real time and effort. But it is the only way.
Important: You only receive one Eternal Flower Floette per save file. Take good care of it.
Step 2: Transfer to Pokemon HOME
Once you have Eternal Flower Floette in your Legends: Z-A boxes, make sure it is leveled to 100 before transferring.
Then open Pokemon HOME and transfer it over. Save the changes and return to the main menu.

Step 3: Send It to Pokemon Champions
In Pokemon HOME, go to the bottom-right option to send Pokemon to Pokemon Champions.
Select Eternal Flower Floette, press A until you see a yellow tick mark, then press “Send on a Visit.”
This creates a copy of Floette in Champions while keeping the original safe in HOME via escrow. This protects the Pokemon from data loss and prevents duplication exploits.

Step 4: Collect Floette in Pokemon Champions
Log into Pokemon Champions and go to the Recruitment Ranch. Select “Collect from Pokemon HOME,” then confirm.
Eternal Flower Floette will be added to your party.
Check your mailbox — the Floettite Mega Stone will be waiting for you there as a bonus reward for the transfer.
How to Use the Floettite Mega Stone
Once you have the Floettite, equip it to your Eternal Flower Floette as a held item. During battle, you can then Mega Evolve it into Mega Floette.

Mega Floette: Stats and What It Does
After Mega Evolution, Floette’s stats jump significantly:
| Stat | Before Mega | After Mega |
|---|---|---|
| HP | 74 | 74 |
| Attack | 65 | 85 |
| Defense | 67 | 87 |
| Special Attack | 125 | 155 |
| Special Defense | 128 | 148 |
| Speed | 92 | 102 |
Its Special Attack hits 155 after Mega Evolution. Combined with the Fairy Aura ability — which boosts all Fairy-type moves on the field — that is a lot of damage.
Moonblast and Dazzling Gleam are its main STAB moves. Moonblast hits a single target hard. Dazzling Gleam hits both opponents in doubles. Psychic covers Poison-types that would otherwise wall it.
Calm Mind is the key support move. After just one Calm Mind boost, Mega Floette becomes extremely difficult to remove. Protect is also seen on almost every competitive build, giving it a safe turn to Mega Evolve or stall.
Is Mega Floette Good in Pokemon Champions?
Yes — it is one of the stronger Mega Evolutions in the current meta. Tournament data shows Floettite appears on nearly every Floette team, and Protect and Calm Mind are its most-used moves in competitive play.
The main weakness is Steel-types. Pokemon like Corviknight and Aegislash can wall Mega Floette hard because Fairy moves don’t hit Steel. You need teammates that can deal with Steel-types before Floette comes in.
Mega Floette also has middling Speed. Tailwind support from a Pokemon like Whimsicott helps a lot. Incineroar is a natural partner for its Intimidate support and wide coverage. Garchomp also pairs well to handle the Steel and Poison threats Floette cannot break.
Mega Floette is not a fast, aggressive sweeper. It wins by applying steady pressure over multiple turns. Bring it in safely, get a Calm Mind, and watch the opponent scramble to deal with it.

Key Things to Know Before Transferring
Train before you transfer. Once Floette enters Pokemon Champions, the game locks in its current stats. Any training done in Legends: Z-A after that point will not carry over to Champions.
Trial Pokemon cannot be trained. You cannot retrain Floette during a 7-day trial period. Permanently recruit it first.
It is not available in Roster Ranch. You cannot recruit Eternal Flower Floette through normal gameplay in Champions. Transfer is the only method.
The Floettite is Floette-exclusive. It cannot be used on regular Floette. Only Eternal Flower Floette can Mega Evolve with it.
