The 16 GB of RAM at the minimum level is also worth flagging. If you are still on 8 GB, this is a required upgrade before the game will even run properly.

This is the sweet spot for most PC players. A mid-range build from the last few years should handle 1440p at 60 FPS without too much trouble. The GPU requirements are actually quite reasonable for this resolution tier — the RTX 2070 Super in particular is a few years old now and still very much available.
The RAM holds steady at 16 GB here, so you do not need to upgrade memory going from minimum to recommended.

This is where the requirements jump up noticeably. You need a significantly newer CPU, a high-end GPU, and 24 GB of RAM. Keep in mind this is not native 4K. You are still using upscaling quality mode and frame generation to hit that 60 FPS target at 2160p.
The 4K RAM requirement was originally listed at 32 GB. TT Games reduced it to 24 GB after pushback from the community, which is a positive sign that the developers are actively listening and optimising.

The game needs 50 GB of SSD storage across all configurations. A traditional spinning hard drive is not listed as an option. This makes sense for an open-world game built on Unreal Engine 5, which relies on fast loading for seamless world streaming. Make sure you have enough free space on your SSD before installing.
Frame Generation and Upscaling Are Baked In
Every performance target in the official specs assumes upscaling and frame generation are turned on. This is worth understanding before you buy. The minimum tier with a GTX 960 is only hitting 1080p/30fps because FSR and frame gen are doing heavy lifting. Without them, older hardware would struggle significantly. The Open World Is Bigger Than Arkham Knight
TT Games confirmed that Gotham City in Legacy of the Dark Knight is larger than the open world in Batman: Arkham Knight. That scale, combined with Unreal Engine 5 lighting and dense environments, helps explain why the RAM and storage requirements are higher than you might expect from a LEGO game. This is a much more ambitious technical release than anything TT Games has shipped before.

- If you have a GTX 1060 or RX 580 — You are between minimum and recommended. You should be able to run it at 1080p with low to medium settings using FSR, though performance may not be perfectly smooth.
