TL;DR
- Yu’er gives you the Flesh Lily quest early in Weeping Creek Valley.
- The Flesh Lily is found in the Flesh Lily Fields, below the Sha-Chi Tower.
- You must defeat the boss Hua, Deadly Betrothed to access the item.
- After the fight, grab the Twin Flesh Lilies from the altar near where the boss stood.
- Return to Yu’er at the Outpost Bell to complete this stage of the quest.
Who Is Yu’er and Why Does She Need the Flesh Lily?
Early in Phantom Blade Zero, while exploring Weeping Creek Valley, you will meet a young healer named Yu’er. She is trying to find a cure for her sick father, and the key ingredient she needs is a rare flower called the Flesh Lily. She asks Soul to help find one.
It sounds like a simple fetch quest at first. But here is the thing — the Flesh Lily does not appear on your map. There is no waypoint. You cannot grab it right away either. You will need to progress through the story and reach a specific area before you can collect it. This guide tells you exactly what to do.

Flesh Lily Location in Phantom Blade Zero
The Flesh Lily is found in an area called the Flesh Lily Fields, located directly beneath the Sha-Chi Tower. You can only get here after you have beaten Peng Meng and reached the Sha-Chi Tower zone in Weeping Creek Valley.
Once you arrive at the Valley Sha-Chi Tower 1st Floor Bell, do not just go upstairs and keep following the main path. Instead, look for an alternate route on the right side of the tower.
How to Reach the Flesh Lily Fields Step by Step
- Start at the Valley Sha-Chi Tower 1st Floor Bell.
- Head up the stairs and circle around to the right side of the tower.
- Find the opening or hole in the floor at the back.
- Drop down and slide down the long wooden ramp into the cavern below.
- The cavern is full of red spider lilies — you are heading the right way.
- Turn left and go up the slope into the clearing above.
- A cutscene will trigger when you enter the clearing.
Once the cutscene plays, get ready to fight.

Hua, Deadly Betrothed — The Boss Guarding the Flesh Lily
The Flesh Lily is not just sitting on the ground waiting for you. It is protected by a secret boss named Hua, Deadly Betrothed. She will appear as soon as you enter the lily-filled clearing, and you have to beat her before you can pick up the item.
Hua is not a pushover. She is one of those hidden bosses that catches players off guard because she is tucked away from the main route. Here are a few quick tips before you engage her:
- Watch her attack patterns carefully before committing to combos.
- She moves fast, so perfect parries and well-timed dodges matter here.
- Make sure you are stocked up on consumables before sliding down the ramp.
- The boss fight has two phases, so save some energy for the second one.
After you beat her, Hua drops the Scarlet Wraithblade, a two-handed weapon. It is a solid reward on its own and worth using in the fights ahead. For more on weapon options in Phantom Blade Zero, check out our guides on the Feather Bow Phantom Edge and the Tiger Cannon Phantom Edge.

How to Pick Up the Twin Flesh Lilies
Once Hua is defeated, a new fast travel point called the Flesh Lily Fields Bell will unlock in the area. Before you use it, look around the altar or pavilion where Hua was standing at the start of the fight. The Twin Flesh Lilies are sitting right there as a glowing quest item.
Pick them up. Do not leave the area without doing this — it is easy to miss if you are distracted after a tough boss fight.
Also note: the game gives you two Flesh Lilies here. Yu’er will take one, and she gives the second one back to Soul as a memento. That second lily comes into play later in the story, so do not worry about losing it.
How to Give the Flesh Lily to Yu’er
After picking up the Twin Flesh Lilies, use the Flesh Lily Fields Bell or travel back to the Outpost Bell in Weeping Creek Valley. Yu’er will be standing near the Forge at the Outpost at this point.
Talk to her and hand over the Flesh Lily. She will thank Soul, take one of the flowers, and give you the other as a keepsake. This completes the first part of the quest.

What Comes After the Flesh Lily Quest?
The Flesh Lily quest does not end here. This is just the first part. The full questline is called A Healer’s Legacy, and it spans multiple regions.
- Weeping Creek Valley — You find the Flesh Lily and give it to Yu’er. She also has a second quest here called Apprentice Healer, where you need to collect three herbs across the valley.
- Crimson Forest — Yu’er moves to the Thieves’ Camp here. She wants to help wounded thieves and will need your help again.
- Pangzhen — Later in the game, after defeating Chang Hong, the Thunder Spear, you will find Yu’er’s father at her home. The second Flesh Lily Soul is carrying gets used here to help revive him.
If you miss giving Yu’er the first Flesh Lily before defeating Bai Chilian, Lady of the Twin Serpents in the Crimson Forest, you could miss part of the trophy or achievement tied to this questline. So do not put it off.

Quick Tips Before You Go for the Flesh Lily
- Do not try to rush this quest early. You need to beat Peng Meng first and unlock the Sha-Chi Tower area.
- The Flesh Lily does not show up on your map, so use these directions.
- Stock up on healing items before you slide down the ramp — there is no going back without a fast travel point until after the boss fight.
- After beating Hua, the Flesh Lily Fields Bell unlocks, making fast travel in and out easy.
- Grab the Scarlet Wraithblade from Hua — it is a strong weapon for where you are in the game.
