How Many Planets and Tracks Are in Star Wars Galactic Racer?

Star Wars Galactic Racer has 7 planets and 46 named tracks. But the number you actually race on is much higher. Every named track can run forward, run in reverse, or appear as a podrace-exclusive layout. Add Campaign and Eliminator variants on top of that and the total number of playable route configurations goes well past 80.

The three established Star Wars planets are Tatooine, Jakku, and Ando Prime. The other four — Lantaana, Sentinel I, Crait, and Derven Acos — are either new additions built for Galactic Racer or worlds making their first racing appearance.

Track names are not labelled during races in Campaign or Multiplayer. You only see them when playing Arcade mode. In Campaign and Multiplayer, tracks are drawn randomly from the current planet’s pool — which is why the total number of layouts you can encounter feels larger than a simple list of 46 names suggests.

Below is the complete list of every planet and every named track, along with lap counts. Point-to-point routes run as a single pass. Loop tracks repeat for the listed number of laps.

    Jakku — 6 Tracks

Jakku is the first planet most players encounter in Campaign. It is a battle-scarred desert world covered in wreckage from the end of the Empire. Star Destroyer husks, collapsed gunships, and scrap fields line the routes. High visibility means fast, open racing — but debris hazards are everywhere.

    • The Giants’ Graveyard — 1 Lap
    • The War Fields — 2 Laps
    • Debris Dunes — 2 Laps
    • Star Destroyer Speedway — 5 Laps
    • Scrap Spiral — 5 Laps
    • Fallen Empire — 5 Laps

    Lantaana — 6 Tracks

Lantaana is a new planet created for Galactic Racer. It is a dense tropical jungle world with active geothermal activity running beneath the surface. Narrow jungle paths, lava flows, and water features make this one of the most visually dramatic planets in the game. Lava builds engine heat while water on track cools it back down — so vehicle temperature management becomes a real factor here.

    • Ahlren Jungle Speedway — 5 Laps
    • Dhunkri River Circuit — 5 Laps
    • Griffin’s Flight — 2 Laps
    • Moro Kehn Tunnels — 2 Laps
    • Overflow Rally — 4 Laps
    • The Pyroducts — 5 Laps

    Ando Prime — 9 Tracks

Ando Prime is the planet with the most tracks in the game at 9. It is an established Star Wars ice world previously featured in the original Episode I Racer, making a welcome return here. Jagged frozen cliffs and glacial terrain define the look. The cold conditions mean vehicle systems can freeze, and low-friction ice makes cornering genuinely unpredictable. If you want to practice, our Steam Deck settings guide can help you get the most comfortable setup for longer sessions.

    • Andobi Edge — 4 Laps
    • Dai Bendu Ascension — 1 Lap
    • Ice Field Circuit — 2 Laps
    • Mawhonic Speedway — 2 Laps
    • Monastery Mountains — 2 Laps
    • Mountain to Sea — 1 Lap
    • Vonium Pipeline — 4 Laps

Note: Ando Prime has 9 tracks total according to post-launch databases — the full list of names for the remaining two circuits has not been confirmed in detail across all sources at time of writing.

    Sentinel I — 7 Tracks

Sentinel I is a purpose-built Skakoan listening station turned racing circuit — a new world created for Galactic Racer. It is arguably the most hostile planet in the game. Acid rivers, corrosive fumes, and toxic terrain actively damage your vehicle if you drift off the racing line. Resilience upgrades are strongly recommended before you get here. One wrong move into the yellow acid and your Ramjet boost takes a serious hit.

    • Blood River Run — 1 Lap
    • Caustic Fields — 2 Laps
    • Corrosion Hypersphere — 4 Laps
    • Mineral Loop — 5 Laps
    • Sentinel Lakes — 2 Laps
    • Skakoan Gambit — 6 Laps
    • The Acid Ring — 6 Laps

    Crait — 6 Tracks

Crait makes its racing debut in Galactic Racer. It is an established Star Wars world — familiar as the mineral planet from The Last Jedi — and brings its iconic white salt surface and red mineral-stained terrain to the track. The conditions here are listed as Choked and Cooled. Dust can reduce visibility and the cold environment affects engine performance. Salt Circle at 8 laps is the longest circuit in the entire game.

    • Crimson Mines — 2 Laps
    • Crystal Caverns — 6 Laps
    • Forgil Canyon — 2 Laps
    • Quadinaros’ Revenge — 2 Laps
    • Rhodochrosite Run — 1 Lap
    • Salt Circle — 8 Laps

    Tatooine — 2 Tracks

Tatooine needs no introduction. It is the home of podracing and the Boonta Eve Classic from The Phantom Menace, and its two tracks are exclusively Podracer-class events. These are the only tracks in the game locked to Podracers — standard Speeder Bikes and other vehicles cannot run them. Fuse Games has recreated the Mos Espa environment faithfully, and if you know the film, the track layout will feel immediately familiar. Tatooine has the fewest named tracks of any planet in the game but arguably the most history behind them.

    • Mos Espa Speedway — 3 Laps
    • Hunk of Junk — 1 Lap

If you are looking to upgrade your Podracer to take full advantage of Tatooine’s open straights, our guide to best Podracers in Star Wars Galactic Racer is worth a read.

    Derven Acos — 4 Tracks

Derven Acos is not a natural world. It is a purpose-built Galactic League arena and the showpiece finale location of the Campaign. What makes it unique is that it does not have a single consistent environment — it combines hazards from every previous planet into one course. Expect patches of Ando Prime ice, Lantaana lava, Sentinel I acid, and Jakku debris all mixed together. It is the ultimate test of whether you have built a vehicle that can handle everything.

    • Galactic Gauntlet — 2 Laps
    • Three additional arena tracks (specific names not yet confirmed in all sources)

    Planet Environmental Conditions Explained

Every planet in Galactic Racer has listed environmental conditions. These are not just visual — they directly affect your vehicle performance during a race. Here is a quick breakdown of what each planet condition does:

    • Jakku (Dusty): High-speed desert racing with debris and wreckage on track. Visibility can drop in heavy dust areas.
    • Lantaana (Burning): Lava flows build engine heat. Water on the track cools you back down. Managing your Ramjet temperature matters here.
    • Ando Prime (Frozen): Ice reduces grip. Vehicle systems can freeze. Low-friction corners punish aggressive driving.
    • Sentinel I (Corrosive): Acid rivers off the racing line damage your vehicle quickly. Resilience upgrades are essential before arriving here.
    • Crait (Choked / Cooled): Salt dust interferes with engines. The cool environment adds a cold-weather factor similar to Ando Prime.
    • Tatooine (Desert): Open, high-speed straights with sharp dune-cut corners. Classic podracer conditions with no surprises.
    • Derven Acos (Combined): All of the above, in one place. This is what the whole Campaign has been building toward.

Knowing these conditions ahead of time shapes how you upgrade your vehicle between planets. Our guide on all vehicle stats in Star Wars Galactic Racer explains exactly which stats to prioritise per environment.

How the Track System Works in Campaign and Multiplayer

This is the part that confuses most players early on. You cannot choose a specific track in Campaign or Multiplayer. The game randomly selects a track from the current planet’s pool for each event. The selected track can then appear as a forward run, a reverse run, or a podrace-only layout — which is why the 46 named tracks translate into over 80 playable route configurations in practice.

In Multiplayer Tour, the sequence runs across six stages — one race per planet — ending with the Derven Acos championship final. You do not pick which track you get on each planet; you just race whatever appears. This keeps things unpredictable and rewards all-round vehicle builds rather than circuit-specific setups.

The only place you can pick a specific named track and race it directly is Arcade mode. That is also where the track names are actually labelled in-game.

For a deeper look at how multiplayer betting and progression works, see our Star Wars Galactic Racer Multiplayer Guide. And if you want to know how Sidebets interact with track selection and rivalries, check out our guide on how Sidebets work in Star Wars Galactic Racer.

    Podracer-Only Tracks vs Unrestricted Tracks

Not every vehicle class can run every track. Tatooine’s two circuits are Podracer-exclusive — you need to be in a Podracer to enter them. Most other tracks are classed as Speeder Bike or Unrestricted, meaning the full vehicle roster can compete.

Certain Podracing Tour events in Multiplayer also restrict entry to Podracers only. If you are planning to race Tatooine seriously, make sure your Podracer build is ready. Our guides on how to upgrade abilities and how to customise your vehicle will help you get race-ready.

Will More Planets and Tracks Be Added?

As of the game’s October 6, 2026 launch, no additional planets or tracks have been officially announced. The seven planets and 46 named tracks listed in this article represent the complete launch roster. Given the game’s roguelite structure and the forward/reverse/podrace variant system, there is already a large amount of replayability built into the existing track count.

DLC is a possibility down the line, but no dates or content have been confirmed. The official site at starwarsgalacticracer.com is the best place to check for any future announcements.

The game is currently available on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Epic Games Store.
