WARDOGS Super-45 Weapon Guide – Stats, Attachments, and Best Loadout

    By Sacheen · September 12, 2026 · 14 min read
    Super 45
    • TL;DR: The Super-45 is the best SMG in WARDOGS and fires .45 ACP at 1,200 RPM — four times the rate of a standard rifle.
    • It deals 30 damage per shot, aims down sights in 0.25 seconds, and costs $2,600.
    • Effective range is limited to around 50 meters — beyond that, almost any rifle beats it.
    • It earns Medic XP, making it the go-to weapon for the Medic role track.
    • Magazines come in 13, 30, and 40-round sizes — the 30-round is the practical default.
    • Best used in buildings, trenches, stairwells, and objective pushes where fights stay close.

The WARDOGS Super-45 is the best SMG in the game and one of the most punishing close-range weapons in any class. At 1,200 RPM with 30 damage per shot and a 0.25-second ADS time, it wins almost every fight that starts inside 50 meters before the other player has time to settle their aim. It costs $2,600, earns Medic XP, and is purpose-built for one job: clearing buildings, holding control zones, and dominating doorways. This guide covers every Super-45 stat, its ammo and attachment options, the best loadout to build around it, and how it compares to the cheaper SMGs in its class. If you are working on Medic progression and want to understand all the weapons available in that track, the WARDOGS A-tier weapons guide covers the AMP-9 and MP5 alongside their role in the Medic progression path.

    WARDOGS Super-45 Base Stats

These are the confirmed base stats for the Super-45 in the current build:

    • Category: SMG
    • Caliber: .45 ACP
    • Fire Mode: Full Auto
    • Damage: 30 per shot
    • Rate of Fire: 1,200 RPM
    • Muzzle Velocity: 375 m/s
    • Effective Range: 50 m
    • ADS Time: 0.25 seconds
    • Price: $2,600
    • Role XP: Medic
    • TTK (unarmored, zero range): ~150ms

The 1,200 RPM rate of fire is the headline stat, but 30 damage per shot is what makes it matter. Most SMGs in WARDOGS deal 22 damage. The Super-45 deals 30 — higher than every other SMG and comparable to the base assault rifles. That combination of high damage and extreme fire rate gives it the fastest CQB TTK of any SMG in the current build. The trade-off is muzzle velocity. At 375 m/s, bullets from the Super-45 are slow compared to rifle rounds, which makes leading moving targets at distance much harder. This is a weapon that wins at 10 meters and loses at 100.

    WARDOGS Super-45 Ammo – .45 ACP

The Super-45 fires .45 ACP. This caliber is specific to the Super-45 among SMGs — you cannot share ammo with AMP-9, MP5, or PP-19 Vityaz players, so plan your supply before spawning.

FMJ – Full Metal Jacket (Standard)

FMJ is the right default for the Super-45. At 30 damage per shot and 1,200 RPM, FMJ already ends unarmored fights in fractions of a second. It deals balanced damage regardless of whether the target has light or moderate armor, and it is available from the start with no unlock requirement. In the close-range environments where the Super-45 excels, FMJ is consistent and reliable. Start here every life.

HP – Hollow Point (Flesh Damage)

Hollow Point increases damage against unarmored targets but drops off against any armor at all. In a CQB environment where people regularly skip or reduce armor to stay mobile, HP can accelerate kills even further. However, the moment someone has even a light vest, HP underperforms FMJ. Given the Super-45 already kills unarmored targets extremely fast on FMJ, the HP advantage is narrow. Only consider it if you specifically know the lobby is running very light on protection.

    AP – Armor Piercing

Armor Piercing rounds penetrate body armor more effectively and add some pressure against light vehicles. In close-range fights inside buildings, heavily armored players take more bullets to drop on FMJ. AP helps the Super-45 remain lethal even when targets have invested in Level 3 or Level 4 plates. Once unlocked through progression, AP becomes a realistic upgrade for Medics and CQB players who consistently fight armored opponents inside fortifications and the Control Zone.

    WARDOGS Super-45 Attachments

The Super-45 supports optics, a foregrip, muzzle devices, and three magazine sizes. Six confirmed optic options affect ADS zoom and aim time. The foregrip slot changes aim time, equip speed, horizontal recoil, spread, and vertical recoil. Additional attachments are paired with the weapon in game files but not yet fully documented.

    Optics

The Super-45 is a 0–50 meter weapon. High magnification optics make no sense on it. A red dot, reflex sight, or compact 1x–1.5x optic is the right choice. These keep your sight picture clean at close range without adding unnecessary weight or slowing your ADS time, which is already an excellent 0.25 seconds. The moment you put a 4x scope on a Super-45, you are working against the gun’s strengths. A compact red dot or holographic sight is all you need. The Mini Reflex Sight is a cheap starting option. Keep the optic lightweight and purpose-matched to the Super-45’s range.

    Foregrip

At 1,200 RPM, the Super-45 burns through recoil fast. A foregrip that reduces horizontal recoil and spread helps keep shots on target in a sustained burst. This is more important than on a slower-firing rifle where individual shots have time to settle. The confirmed foregrip slot affects aim time, equip speed, horizontal recoil, spread, and vertical recoil — all of which matter on a weapon firing this fast. Run a foregrip on the Super-45. It is one of the most impactful attachment slots on a high-RPM weapon.

    Muzzle

A muzzle brake or compensator helps manage recoil at the 1,200 RPM fire rate. A suppressor reduces your noise and keeps you off the minimap during a push, which suits the Super-45’s close-range aggressive playstyle. The suppressor adds cost and weight — weigh that against how much your Medic loadout already weighs before committing to it. If you are already in a medium weight class from armor and medical gear, a suppressor could push you into a heavy class and slow you down when you need to reach downed teammates.

    Magazines

The Super-45 supports three magazine sizes:

    • 13-round magazine – lightest option, cheap, limited sustained fire
    • 30-round magazine – $80, the practical default for most fights
    • 40-round drum – $280, requires Wardog Level 50 to unlock

The 13-round magazine is too small for a weapon that fires at 1,200 RPM. You will burn through it in fractions of a second if a fight requires more than two targets. The 30-round magazine at $80 is the correct choice for most players. It gives you enough rounds for two to three engagements without reloading and keeps your weight manageable. The 40-round drum is strong but it costs $280 — more than the entire Judge sidearm — and requires Wardog Level 50. Once unlocked and affordable, the drum lets you clear rooms without reloading mid-fight. Until then, run the 30-round and carry spare loose .45 ACP.

For context on how the magazine economy works across all WARDOGS weapons, the best weapons in WARDOGS guide covers magazine choice alongside loadout budgeting for every class.

Super-45 vs Other SMGs in WARDOGS

    Super-45 vs AMP-9

The AMP-9 costs $900 and deals 22 damage at 900 RPM. The Super-45 costs $2,600 and deals 30 damage at 1,200 RPM. The Super-45 is faster, hits harder, and kills more quickly in every CQB scenario. The AMP-9 is $1,700 cheaper per life and has no Medic level unlock requirement. For new Medics who need to keep their budget tight and spend more on medical gear, the AMP-9 is the sensible starting point. The Super-45 is the obvious upgrade once your economy is stable and your Medic progression is advanced enough. The damage and fire rate difference is real — but five Super-45 deaths is $13,000 and five AMP-9 deaths is $4,500. Only move to the Super-45 when you can sustain the difference.

    Super-45 vs MP5

The MP5 costs $1,500 and fires 9mm at 800 RPM. It is the mid-point between the AMP-9 and the Super-45 — more firepower than the AMP-9, cheaper than the Super-45. The MP5 has better range characteristics than the Super-45 due to a higher muzzle velocity. But at close range, the Super-45’s 30 damage at 1,200 RPM clearly outclasses the MP5 in speed of kill. If you are playing a medic who sometimes gets into medium-range fights while healing, the MP5 is more forgiving. If you are specifically clearing buildings and controlling the objective zone at close range, the Super-45 wins every time.

    Super-45 vs PP-19 Vityaz

The PP-19 Vityaz is a mid-track Medic SMG that adds range and stability compared to the AMP-9. It fires 9mm and bridges the gap between the early budget SMGs and the Super-45. Its 64-round magazine makes sustained fire practical without reloading, which is useful during hectic objective fights. The Super-45 is still the stronger CQB weapon, but the Vityaz provides more versatility for Medics who are playing mixed terrain and need to fight at 50–100 meters occasionally.

    Best Super-45 Loadout in WARDOGS

The Super-45 earns Medic XP. The best loadout around it reflects that role — it is not just a gun build, it is a full Medic kit that includes medical gear alongside the weapon.

    Core Medic Super-45 Loadout

    • Weapon: Super-45 – $2,600
    • Optic: Compact red dot or reflex sight (1x, no magnification)
    • Foregrip: Recoil-reduction grip for the 1,200 RPM fire rate
    • Magazine: 30-round .45 ACP – $80
    • Ammo: .45 ACP FMJ — carry 2–3 extra boxes of loose rounds
    • Armor: Level 1 or Level 2 plates — do not go heavy, mobility matters
    • Medical gear: Emergency Resuscitator or medical bag, bandages, IFAK
    • Utility: White smoke grenade — essential for safe revives

Total cost estimate: $4,000–$5,500 depending on armor and medical gear.

Weight management is critical for Medics. A Super-45 with Level 3 armor, a medical bag, and a 40-round drum can push you into a medium or heavy weight class. That slows movement, cuts stamina regeneration, and makes reaching downed teammates harder. A Medic who cannot sprint to a body on time is just an SMG player with a bandage. Keep the build light. Level 1 or Level 2 plates, a compact optic, the 30-round magazine, and your medical kit. Reach the body first, then worry about winning the follow-up fight.

    CQB Assault Super-45 Loadout

If you are running the Super-45 as a primary weapon for aggressive close-range play rather than Medic support:

    • Weapon: Super-45 – $2,600
    • Optic: Mini Reflex Sight or comparable 1x
    • Foregrip: Recoil-reduction grip
    • Muzzle: Suppressor (optional for stealth pushes)
    • Magazine: 30-round .45 ACP – $80
    • Sidearm: GGX 18 or similar for medium-range backup
    • Armor: Level 2 plates
    • Medical: Bandages and one resuscitation item

Always carry a sidearm with the Super-45. The moment a fight moves past 50 meters, you want something else in your hand. A pistol with higher muzzle velocity gives you a fighting chance at medium range when the Super-45 becomes unreliable. For more on the sidearm options that pair well with close-range primary weapons, the C-tier weapons guide covers the sidearm lineup and what each offers as backup.

How to Use the Super-45 Effectively

    Stay Under 50 Meters

The Super-45’s effective range is 50 meters. This is not a guideline — it is the point at which the weapon genuinely loses most fights. The low muzzle velocity of 375 m/s makes it difficult to lead moving targets at distance, and the .45 ACP round loses effectiveness quickly past its intended range. If you take a Super-45 and try to win a fight at 100 meters against an assault rifle, you will lose most of the time. Play to the weapon’s range. Stay in buildings, trenches, and close terrain. Push control zones through covered routes. Do not try to overwatch open ground with this weapon.

    Push Through Doorways Fast

The Super-45 wins doorways faster than almost anything else in WARDOGS. At 1,200 RPM and 0.25-second ADS time, you can fire before most weapons have finished raising to aim. When breaching a room or pushing a doorway, commit to the movement and fire immediately. Hesitation at the threshold wastes the weapon’s biggest advantage. The 30-round magazine covers multiple targets in a single room before reloading is necessary.

Use Smoke Grenades to Set Up Revives

If you are playing Medic with the Super-45, white smoke is one of the most important items in your loadout. A down teammate in open ground or a contested area is extremely hard to reach safely without cover. Pop a smoke on the body, move in, complete the revive, and reposition before the smoke clears. The Super-45’s fast ADS time means you can switch from reviving to firing quickly if someone pushes through the smoke. This combination — Super-45 plus white smoke — is the core of an aggressive Medic kit. For more on playing smart in close-range objective environments, the WARDOGS shooter mechanics guide covers positioning and engagement fundamentals that apply across all CQB weapons.

Manage Your Magazine Size and Weight

The 40-round drum is tempting, but it costs $280 and adds weight. Before equipping it, check your total loadout weight. A Medic kit with Level 2 armor, a medical bag, and a drum magazine can push you toward medium weight even before ammo is factored in. Medium weight reduces sprint speed and stamina regeneration. For a Medic who needs to move quickly to downed teammates, that is a direct hit on your effectiveness. Run the 30-round magazine until Wardog Level 50 unlocks the drum. Then reassess whether the added round count is worth the weight penalty in your specific build. To understand how the Wardog Level progression works and when unlocks become available, check the WARDOGS leveling guide.

    Always Carry a Sidearm

The Super-45 is helpless beyond 50 meters. Any time you are not in a building or tight space, your sidearm is your real primary weapon. A pistol with decent range — even a GGX 17 or GGX 18 — gives you something to fight with when a flanker catches you in the open or when a fight moves outside the building you were holding. Do not run the Super-45 without a sidearm. It is not a backup tool in this loadout — it is a necessity.

Who Should Use the Super-45 in WARDOGS?

    Buy the Super-45 if:

    • You are playing the Medic role and want maximum CQB damage
    • You fight primarily inside buildings, trenches, and the Control Zone
    • Your account can sustain $2,600 per life without going into recovery mode
    • You have a sidearm ready for engagements that move past 50 meters
    • You are actively grinding Medic XP through SMG kills and revives

Do not buy the Super-45 if:

    • Your budget is tight — the AMP-9 at $900 is the smart alternative
    • You frequently fight in open terrain or on exterior positions
    • You tend to spawn and move across open ground rather than pushing directly into buildings
    • You do not have a reliable sidearm for medium-range backup

The Super-45 is a specialist weapon. It dominates its environment completely and is nearly useless outside it. Players who fight in the right places get an absurd rate of fire and damage output. Players who try to use it as an all-rounder lose fights they should win because the weapon literally cannot reach the enemy effectively. Know your role, know your terrain, and the Super-45 is one of the best weapons in WARDOGS. Use it in the wrong situation and $2,600 disappears in seconds.

For comparison with the FAL — the high-damage rifle that sits at the other end of the range spectrum — the WARDOGS FAL weapon guide explains when to choose a premium long-range rifle over a close-range specialist. And if you are still in the early stage of building your economy, the T-21 guide covers the best $600 all-rounder to run while saving toward higher-tier weapons like the Super-45.
