Where To Farm Xinyan Ascension Materials

Violetgrass Locations

Violetgrass is a Liyue local specialty. It grows on the sides of cliffs across the region, so you’ll need to do some climbing to gather it. If you don’t want to hunt for it, two vendors sell it instead: Verr Goldet at Wangshu Inn and Herbalist Gui at Bubu Pharmacy in Liyue Harbor. Each sells 5 Violetgrass every 3 days for 1,000 Mora per flower. You can also grow it in your Serenitea Pot.

Everflame Seed – Pyro Regisvine Farming

Everflame Seed only drops from the Pyro Regisvine boss, found northwest of Liyue Harbor at Luhua Pool. Each fight costs 40 Original Resin. Bring Hydro or Cryo characters since the Regisvine is weak to both, which speeds up the fight considerably.

Treasure Hoarder, Silver Raven, and Golden Raven Insignia

All three Insignia types drop from Treasure Hoarder enemies found across every region, with a heavy concentration in Liyue. Silver Raven and Golden Raven Insignia drop more often from higher-level Treasure Hoarders once your Adventure Rank increases.

Xinyan Talent Materials List

Xinyan has three talents that can be upgraded from level 1 to level 10: Normal Attack, Elemental Skill, and Elemental Burst. Her talent books belong to the Gold series, farmed from the Taishan Mansion: Circle of Embers domain in Liyue.

Level 2: 3 Teachings of Gold, 6 Treasure Hoarder Insignia, 12,500 Mora
Level 3: 2 Guide to Gold, 3 Silver Raven Insignia, 17,500 Mora
Level 4: 4 Guide to Gold, 4 Silver Raven Insignia, 25,000 Mora
Level 5: 6 Guide to Gold, 6 Silver Raven Insignia, 30,000 Mora
Level 6: 9 Guide to Gold, 9 Silver Raven Insignia, 37,500 Mora
Level 7: 4 Philosophies of Gold, 4 Golden Raven Insignia, 1 Tusk of Monoceros Caeli, 120,000 Mora
Level 8: 6 Philosophies of Gold, 6 Golden Raven Insignia, 1 Tusk of Monoceros Caeli, 260,000 Mora
Level 9: 12 Philosophies of Gold, 9 Golden Raven Insignia, 2 Tusk of Monoceros Caeli, 450,000 Mora
Level 10: 16 Philosophies of Gold, 12 Golden Raven Insignia, 2 Tusk of Monoceros Caeli, 1 Crown of Insight, 700,000 Mora

Remember to multiply every number above by 3 if you want to max all three of Xinyan’s talents instead of just one.

Where To Farm Xinyan Talent Materials

Teachings, Guide, and Philosophies of Gold

These talent books drop from the Taishan Mansion: Circle of Embers domain in Liyue. Check in-game which days the domain is open, since talent book domains rotate on a set weekly schedule.

Tusk of Monoceros Caeli – Childe Trounce Domain

Tusk of Monoceros Caeli drops from the Enter the Golden House Trounce Domain, where you fight Childe (Tartaglia) as a weekly boss in Liyue. This is a multi-phase fight, so bring a well-rounded team that can handle both his melee and ranged forms.

Crown of Insight

Crown of Insight cannot be farmed directly. You get it from limited-time events or by completing seasonal offerings such as the Frostbearing Tree, Sacred Sakura Offering, Lumenstone Adjuvant, and Tree of Dreams. Save your Crowns for characters you use the most, since they are rare.

Total Materials Needed To Max Xinyan

To fully ascend Xinyan and max all three talents, you will need roughly 420,000 Mora for ascension alone, plus well over 1.5 million Mora across all three talents. On top of that, budget for 168 Violetgrass, 46 Everflame Seed, dozens of Insignias, multiple Tusk of Monoceros Caeli, and 3 Crown of Insight. Plan your farming days around domain rotations and weekly boss resets to avoid wasting resin.

Xinyan Ascension And Talent Farming Route

The most efficient route is to gather Violetgrass and Treasure Hoarder Insignia around Liyue Harbor before heading to the Enter the Golden House Trounce Domain for Tusk of Monoceros Caeli. Then clear the Pyro Regisvine using your weekly resin for Everflame Seed. Check the Taishan Mansion domain schedule and farm it on the days Teachings, Guide, or Philosophies of Gold are available, since these only rotate a few days a week.

Is Xinyan Worth Ascending And Leveling in 2026

Yes, if you need a shielder or a physical damage sub-DPS. Xinyan’s Elemental Skill gives a strong Pyro shield that scales off her defense, and her Elemental Burst deals both Physical and Pyro damage. She pairs well with Geo support characters for extra defense scaling. She’s a solid four-star pick for players who want a flexible, low-maintenance shielder without needing five-star weapons.
