Enter the Webb Industries Gala without an invitation, and you clear the Gate Crasher challenge in 007 First Light. The front door is guarded, so you cannot just stroll in. But with two simple gadgets and a quick combo, you can get past the guards in seconds. This guide shows you the exact steps.
TL;DR – Gate Crasher Challenge
- Goal: Enter the Webb Industries Gala with no invite.
- Challenge name: Gate Crasher, part of the Uninvited mission.
- Gadgets needed: Phone Dart and Laser Strap.
- Key item: Green chemical bottles at the reception desk refill your Phone Dart.
- The trick: Dart two guards, then stun the third with the Laser Strap and walk in.
- Note: Stealing a guest’s invite works too, but it does NOT count for this challenge.
What You Need to Enter the Webb Industries Gala
This challenge is one of the many tasks in the fifth mission. You can see the full set in our Uninvited all challenges guide. For Gate Crasher, you only need two gadgets equipped:
- Phone Dart – your main tool for knocking out guards from range.
- Laser Strap – used to stun the last guard so you can slip past.
If these are not equipped, set them before the mission. Our best gadget loadout guide explains which tools to bring, and the all gadgets page covers what each one does.
How to Enter the Webb Industries Gala Without an Invite
When you reach the gala, walk up to the reception desk. You will spot green bottles of chemicals there. These bottles refill your Phone Dart, so keep them in mind.
Three guards stand between you and the gala doors. Here is how to clear them:
- Stand at the reception desk and turn on the Q-Lens with L1/LB.
- Fire the Phone Dart at the first guard.
- Grab the chemical bottles from the desk to refill the Phone Dart.
- Fire the Phone Dart at the second guard.
- Hit the third guard with the Laser Strap to stun him.
- Walk straight through the door while he is stunned.
That is it. Two guards go down to the Phone Dart, the third gets stunned by the Laser Strap, and you stroll into the gala with no invite. The Gate Crasher challenge pops as you cross the threshold.
Why Not Just Steal an Invitation?
You can pickpocket a guest to grab an invite and walk in the normal way. That gets you inside, but it does not award Gate Crasher. The challenge only counts if you force your way in without an invitation. So if you are chasing full completion, use the gadget method above instead.
What to Do After You Enter the Webb Industries Gala
Once inside, your next goal is to get upstairs and find the assassin. There are several routes for that, like posing as a photographer, a security guard, or using a press badge. Each route is its own challenge, so you will want to replay the mission to clear them all.
It also helps to raise your intel clearance level and unlock the 4th gadget slot before deeper runs. You can track every mission in our all missions, challenges, and collectibles hub.
