Alyosha is a 4-star Electro Polearm character released in Genshin Impact Version 7.0 (August 12, 2026) and is obtainable for free during the Snezhnaya story. He functions as an off-field Electro applicator, healer, and ATK buffer for Stellar-Conduct teams. While his value at C0 is limited, he becomes a competitive support at C6 and is the only free healer purpose-built for the Stellar-Conduct archetype.

Who Is Alyosha in Genshin Impact?

Alyosha is a 4-star Electro Polearm support from Snezhnaya and one of the new characters introduced alongside the Version 7.0 Stellar Glimmer reaction system. He is a 4-star Electro support and healer focused on buffing Stellar-Conduct on-fielders. He applies marks on enemies that, when activated, buff the currently active character’s ATK and Stellar-Conduct damage.

Alyosha is very reliant on his C6 to be a worthwhile option, and can be subpar even with it. He is never outright best-in-slot for any Stellar-Conduct on-fielder, although he is one of the best healing options at C6. That said, because he is free and purpose-built for the new Stellar-Conduct teams arriving in Version 7.0, he is worth leveling and building for any player investing in that archetype — particularly those who need a healer and do not yet have Escoffier or Qiqi.

    alyosha best build overview

    Alyosha Best Weapons

Alyosha mainly wants Energy Recharge to use his Elemental Burst every rotation, while also benefiting from ATK due to his healing and damage scaling. His weapon priority splits between maximum buffing (Symphonist of Scents) and Energy support (Favonius Lance and alternatives). The right choice depends on how much Energy Recharge you can cover through substats and whether your team also needs Energy funneling.

    Best 5-Star Options

Engulfing Lightning is Alyosha’s strongest 5-star weapon overall. He needs a large amount of Energy Recharge and ATK to function properly, and this weapon provides both. It gives a massive amount of Energy Recharge while also converting part of that Energy Recharge into additional ATK through its passive. If you have it available and are not using it on Raiden Shogun, it is a comfortable best-in-slot for Alyosha.

Symphonist of Scents (Escoffier’s signature) is Mobalytics’ top pick specifically for its active buff value. It is Escoffier’s signature and comfortably Alyosha’s best option due to the strong buffs it provides to the on-fielder. He will also provide its buff to other characters for a short time, which is enough to give it to Odette’s big Enhanced Skill hit. Note that it provides no team Energy, so substat coverage becomes more important when using it.

    Best 4-Star Options

Favonius Lance is the recommended 4-star pick for most players. Favonius Lance will most likely be Alyosha’s next best option in most scenarios. It provides Energy Recharge, helping him use his Elemental Burst every rotation to maintain Electro application. It also generates particles for the entire team, which is especially valuable when paired with characters such as Sandrone who also have Energy requirements. To reliably proc the Favonius passive, aim for at least 40% CRIT Rate on Alyosha.

Song of the Vigil is a strong craftable 4-star alternative. It provides Elemental Mastery from its secondary stat while also giving both Energy and ATK through its passive, making it a well-rounded choice for Alyosha in reaction-focused teams. Triggering a Stellar Glimmer reaction gives him 20–40% ATK (scaling with refinement) for 12 seconds — very consistent in Stellar-Conduct lineups.

Frostbreath is the free craftable Polearm from Snezhnaya. Frostbreath is the best weapon for Alyosha when he is the one triggering Stellar-Conduct, as it increases his ATK and generates Energy for the rest of the team. The trigger condition requires a Cryo- or Hydro-related reaction, which is consistent inside a Stellar-Conduct team but does have a 16-second internal cooldown. Refine it if you plan to stick with it long-term.

Tamayuratei no Ohanashi and “The Catch” are both usable fallbacks. These are generally worse than Favonius Lance in most situations, but if you do not have one available or it is otherwise occupied, they will work. The Catch is especially convenient for Burst-focused play given its Energy Recharge substat and Burst DMG bonus, while Tamayuratei no Ohanashi provides ATK on Skill use.

    Weapon Priority Summary

    • Best overall (5-star): Engulfing Lightning
    • Best buff-focused: Symphonist of Scents
    • Best 4-star (Energy support): Favonius Lance
    • Best craftable options: Song of the Vigil / Frostbreath
    • Usable alternatives: Tamayuratei no Ohanashi / “The Catch” / Kitain Cross Spear

    Alyosha Best Artifacts

    Noblesse Oblige (Universal Pick)

Noblesse Oblige is looking to be Alyosha’s go-to artifact set. He is most likely going to be played alongside ATK-scaling DPS characters such as Sandrone or Odette, making the team-wide ATK buff extremely valuable. Since Alyosha wants to use his Elemental Burst every rotation, he can maintain the set’s buff consistently. The 4-piece grants all party members 20% ATK for 12 seconds on Burst cast, which has near-permanent uptime in Alyosha’s longer rotations. This is the default recommendation in virtually every team he appears in, as other characters (Odette, Yae Miko) will occupy Heart of the Furnace.

Heart of the Furnace (Niche Alternative)

Alyosha would be a great user of Heart of the Furnace if he could proc it reliably, and unfortunately he cannot unless he is the only Electro unit in the team. With 2 Electro units in the team, it is difficult for him to consistently trigger Stellar-Conduct reactions. If you are running him as a solo Electro in a team without Yae Miko, and Odette or another character is not already holding Heart of the Furnace, this becomes a viable alternative. In those specific conditions, the 50% Stellar Glimmer party DMG bonus is a meaningful gain.

    Artifact Main Stats

    • Sands: Energy Recharge (until requirement met) or ATK%
    • Goblet: ATK% (Electro DMG% is a secondary option if Energy is covered)
    • Circlet: ATK% or CRIT Rate (use CRIT Rate if running Favonius Lance)

    Substat Priority

    • Energy Recharge (to requirements — see below)
    • ATK%
    • CRIT Rate (only if using Favonius Lance to reliably proc particles)

    Energy Recharge Requirements

Getting Alyosha’s Burst up comfortably and quickly should always be your highest priority. While lower Energy bounds are viable in content like Spiral Abyss, you will likely require Energy around the higher bounds in Stygian Onslaught in order to get it up on the first rotation. The general targets are 180–200% ER for standard Spiral Abyss content, and closer to 220–250% ER for Stygian Onslaught or teams without strong Electro particle generation. Having a second Electro unit, or running Favonius Lance, significantly reduces the ER threshold.

    Recommended Stat Benchmarks

    • ATK: 2,000–2,800+
    • CRIT Rate: 40–60% (only if running Favonius Lance)
    • Energy Recharge: 150–180% with Favonius or second Electro unit; 200–250% otherwise

    Alyosha Talent Priority

Alyosha’s Elemental Burst, Hunter’s Advance, is his most important talent because it provides his main off-field Electro application, damage, and healing. His Elemental Skill, Thunderbolt Strike, should be leveled next because it provides additional damage and activates Hunter’s Mark. His Normal Attack can usually be ignored.

Mobalytics notes a slight nuance here: his Elemental Skill talent contains his ATK% buff, but not his Stellar-Conduct DMG Bonus buff or C6 EM buff. It is still worth leveling just for the ATK% increase, and is arguably his only talent besides the Burst worth doing so.

    • Priority 1: Elemental Burst (Hunter’s Advance)
    • Priority 2: Elemental Skill (Thunderbolt Strike)
    • Skip entirely: Normal Attack (Skirmishing Spear)

    How to Play Alyosha

Alyosha is an Electro Burst support whose playstyle follows a simple support rotation. In most teams, you use his Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst, then swap to your main DPS. His time on-field is brief — Skill, Burst, then off. The key priority is sequencing: if running Favonius Lance, use him immediately before the carry so Sandrone or your on-fielder can catch the Favonius particles. If running Symphonist of Scents, swap him in at the start of the rotation to maximise the buff window for all teammates.

His Elemental Burst summons Tugarin and creates a Fulgurite Hunting Field, which delivers periodic off-field Electro hits and healing to the active character. His healing is only for the active character, but has very high uptime. This means your carry benefits from sustained healing, but off-field characters receive none — keep this in mind when evaluating whether Alyosha’s sustain is sufficient for a given team.

Alyosha’s Hunter’s Mark mechanic, applied via his Skill or Normal Attack, is what activates his ATK buff on enemies. When an ally triggers that mark by damaging the enemy, the active character gains ATK% and Stellar-Conduct DMG Bonus from his Ascension 1 passive. This buff follows the active character and refreshes on each trigger, making it important that the carry is hitting the marked enemy consistently.

    Alyosha Best Teams

Alyosha is exclusively a Stellar-Conduct team character. He provides no meaningful value in Stellar Swirl compositions, and his Burst healing conflicts with Wriothesley’s Cryo aura requirement in certain setups. His best teams pair him with Sandrone or Cyno, where longer rotations align with his 18-second Burst cooldown. For a broader overview of team compositions in the Stellar-Conduct archetype, see the best Stellar-Conduct teams guide.

    Sandrone Stellar-Conduct (Core Team)

Sandrone / Odette / Yae Miko / Alyosha

This is Alyosha’s optimal team at C6. Alyosha’s Burst is on an 18-second cooldown, which conflicts with the short rotations of the Cryo Traveler, making Sandrone and Cyno the most attractive options since their rotations naturally run longer. In this lineup, Yae Miko provides off-field Electro sub-DPS, Odette handles Cryo off-field damage and Stellar DMG Bonus buffing, and Alyosha covers healing and ATK stacking for Sandrone.

Without C6, Alyosha competes unfavourably against Qiqi, Escoffier, or Sucrose in the flex slot. With C6 he is competitive with Qiqi, sometimes better and sometimes worse. Escoffier and Sucrose will likely be better purely in terms of DPS, but will require the team to be sustainless. For players who need healing and have him at C6, he is a genuine option. For players without his C6, one of those alternatives will almost always be superior.

Example rotation: Yae Miko Skill ×3 → Odette Skill + Enhanced Skill → Alyosha Skill + Burst → Sandrone CA + Skill + Burst + [CA + Skill] ×2

Note the ordering: Alyosha goes immediately before Sandrone when using Favonius Lance so Sandrone can catch his Energy particles. When using Symphonist of Scents, place Alyosha at the start of the rotation to extend his buff window.

    Cyno Stellar-Conduct

Cyno / Odette / Yae Miko / Alyosha

Cyno’s long on-field rotation aligns well with Alyosha’s cooldown timing and makes his sustained healing more valuable. The team structure is identical to the Sandrone variant. Yae Miko can be replaced with other Electro sub-DPS if unavailable. For more on Cyno in Stellar-Conduct teams, see the Cyno Stellar Conduct build guide.

    Alternative Flex Slot Options

If Odette or Yae Miko are unavailable, replacements for the Cryo slot include Qiqi and Escoffier; for the Electro slot, Sucrose, C6 Beidou, C6 Diona, Nicole, and Xilonen are all valid alternatives. Sucrose is particularly notable as she provides strong Elemental Mastery buffing for the team even in Stellar-Conduct compositions. For the Odette build that pairs with Alyosha, see the Odette best build guide.

    Alyosha Constellations

As a 4-star character, Alyosha’s constellations accumulate naturally over time through wishes and event rewards. His constellation curve is unusual for a support — he is genuinely weak without his C6, and most of his early constellations are incremental rather than transformative. C6 is the target for players investing in him seriously.

    C1 — Frostvale Thunderclap

C1 provides 15 Energy per rotation, making his Burst have an effective cost of 55, which is far more manageable. This is particularly good if Alyosha is the only Electro unit in the team. It directly reduces ER substat pressure and is a meaningful quality-of-life improvement even if not a large DPS gain.

    C2 — Howl From Afar

Extending his Burst duration to a total of 20 seconds makes it have near-permanent uptime in many of Alyosha’s teams, leading to a higher average of Polestar Field stacks for the team. The more important part is that without this Constellation, Alyosha’s buffs will take a short while to kick in every rotation and run out at the tail end, as Hunter’s Mark is removed when Tugarin hits an enemy. With C2, the buff keeps refreshing itself. This is the first constellation worth actively targeting — the consistent buff uptime it enables is a meaningful team-wide DPS improvement.

    C3 — Friendly Call

Increased Elemental Skill talent levels means a higher ATK% buff to the on-fielder, though the actual increase is small — roughly 3.8% more ATK at TL13 compared to TL10, doubled to 7.6% with C6. Decent but not a priority.

    C4 — Harvest the Spoils

Increases Alyosha’s healing output. A minor but welcome upgrade for sustain-focused teams where the active character is taking consistent chip damage.

C5 — When the Nightbird Falls Silent

Burst talent levels only increase Alyosha’s personal DPS. Negligible. Skip as a priority target.

    C6 — Standard Reclaimed

A massive C6 that more than doubles Alyosha’s buffs. Without it, Alyosha is a poor option for the archetype he is meant to be played in. Note that the 100 EM buff also follows the active character like the rest of his buffs. At C6, his ATK and Stellar-Conduct DMG Bonus buffs double, and the affected character also gains 100 Elemental Mastery — making him a genuinely competitive support for Stellar-Conduct teams. This is the stopping point for serious investment.

    Constellation Priority

    C2 > C6 > C1 > C4 > C3 > C5

Both Icy Veins and Mobalytics agree: C2 should be the first major goal, followed by C6 as the strongest support constellation. C1 is also recommended as an early milestone purely for the Energy reduction it provides.

    Should You Build Alyosha?

Yes — if you are playing Stellar-Conduct teams and need a free healer, Alyosha is the right choice to build. He is the only free character purpose-designed for this archetype, and at C6 he becomes a competitive support even alongside paid 5-star alternatives. Players running Sandrone, Cyno, or other Stellar-Conduct on-fielders who lack access to Escoffier or Qiqi will find him a reliable solution.

Do not expect much from him at C0. His ATK buff is modest without C6, and his healing is his main value at that investment level. If you are in the market for a stronger sustain option and have pulls available, Qiqi’s standalone healing and off-field Cryo are more consistent regardless of constellation level. For Stellar Glimmer reaction context and how Alyosha’s Electro application feeds Polestar Field stacks, see the Stellar Glimmer reaction guide. For team composition options across the full Stellar-Conduct roster, the best Stellar-Conduct teams guide covers all carry and flex slot combinations.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Is Alyosha good in Genshin Impact?

At C0, Alyosha is a mediocre support whose buffs are too small to displace better options. At C6, he becomes a competitive Stellar-Conduct support with doubled ATK and Stellar-Conduct DMG buffs plus 100 EM for the active character. He is rated S tier by Icy Veins at C6 and is the best free healer available for Stellar-Conduct teams.

What is Alyosha’s best weapon in Genshin Impact?

Engulfing Lightning is Alyosha’s best 5-star weapon, covering both his Energy Recharge and ATK needs simultaneously. For players without it, Symphonist of Scents offers strong buff value. Among 4-star weapons, Favonius Lance is the safest pick for Energy management, while Song of the Vigil and Frostbreath are strong craftable alternatives.

What are Alyosha’s best artifacts in Genshin Impact?

Noblesse Oblige is the universal pick, providing a 20% teamwide ATK buff on every Burst cast. Heart of the Furnace is a niche alternative only when Alyosha is the sole Electro unit and no other teammate is already using the set.

How much Energy Recharge does Alyosha need?

Aim for 180–200% Energy Recharge for Spiral Abyss content with a second Electro unit or Favonius Lance present. In Stygian Onslaught or teams without particle generation support, target 220–250% ER to ensure Burst comes up on the first rotation.

    Is Alyosha’s C6 worth it?

Yes, if you are actively investing in Stellar-Conduct teams. C6 more than doubles his ATK and Stellar-Conduct DMG buffs and adds 100 EM to the active character — transforming him from a mediocre pick into a legitimate support. Because he is a 4-star, C6 is reachable without heavy spending over time through standard wishes and event distributions.

What teams does Alyosha work in?

Alyosha is exclusively a Stellar-Conduct support. His best teams pair him with Sandrone or Cyno alongside Odette and Yae Miko. He does not work in Stellar Swirl teams and has limited value in compositions outside the Stellar-Conduct archetype.
