Best Stellar-Conduct Teams In Genshin Impact

    By Mark Smith · August 13, 2026 · Updated October 18, 2026 · 18 min read
    genshin impact sandrone best build

The best Stellar-Conduct teams in Genshin Impact revolve around one non-negotiable rule: you must have a Stellar Linchpin enabler in your party or the reaction simply will not trigger. Stellar-Conduct is the upgraded version of Superconduct introduced in Version 7.0 alongside Snezhnaya. Where old Superconduct only shredded Physical resistance, Stellar-Conduct is a full damage reaction that creates a Polestar Field, boosts Cryo and Electro damage for every character inside it, and hits hard in its own right. If you are building a Cryo or Electro DPS right now, this is the reaction meta to understand.

This guide covers everything — how Stellar-Conduct works, which characters enable it, the best Cryo and Electro picks for each slot, and ready-made team compositions for every roster size, updated for Version 7.1. For the other new reaction introduced in 7.0, see our best Stellar Swirl teams guide. And for a full breakdown of both reactions together, check the Stellar Glimmer reaction guide.

    TL;DR — Best Stellar-Conduct Teams Quick Summary

    • Stellar-Conduct is triggered by Cryo + Electro when a Stellar Linchpin enabler is in the party
    • Creates a Polestar Field that boosts Cryo and Electro damage for all characters inside
    • Only Odette, Sandrone, and Cryo Traveler can enable Stellar-Conduct — Vesna (7.1) is a Stellar Linchpin but enables Stellar Swirl only
    • Best main DPS choices: Sandrone (Cryo), Cyno (Electro), Wriothesley (Cryo)
    • Best off-field Electro: Yae Miko — her C1 gives the whole team 50% Electro and Stellar-Conduct DMG Bonus
    • Best support picks: Alyosha (ATK% buff + Stellar-Conduct buff), Escoffier (7.1 rerun — Cryo RES shred + healing), Qiqi (healing + Cryo), Diona C6 (EM buff + shield)
    • Team structure: one enabler, one Cryo body, one Electro body, one flex support
    • Unlike Stellar Swirl, Stellar-Conduct does not CRIT — but the Polestar Field it creates amplifies all Cryo and Electro damage that follows
    • Cryo Resonance (two Cryo characters) gives the whole team a free 15% CRIT Rate boost
    • 7.1 Beidou C6 bug fix: her “Radiance: Stellar-Conduct” Elemental Mastery now correctly applies

    Version 7.1 Changes To Stellar-Conduct

Stellar-Conduct itself received no mechanical changes in Version 7.1, but several surrounding factors shifted the team-building landscape. Here is what changed:

    • Beidou C6 bug fix: Version 7.1 fixed an issue where Beidou’s Constellation 6, “Radiance: Stellar-Conduct,” was failing to apply its Elemental Mastery bonus correctly. Players running Beidou C6 in Stellar-Conduct teams should re-evaluate her damage output — it is higher than pre-7.1 testing suggested.
    • Vesna is a new Stellar Linchpin but does not enable Stellar-Conduct: Vesna’s Anemo Stellar Linchpin enables Stellar Swirl (Cryo + Anemo), not Stellar-Conduct (Cryo + Electro). The enabler pool for Stellar-Conduct remains Odette, Sandrone, and Cryo Traveler.
    • Escoffier returns on the 7.1 Phase 2 banner (rerun): Escoffier is a 5-star Cryo Polearm off-field support who shreds Cryo and Hydro resistance and heals. She is one of Sandrone’s best support slots in Stellar-Conduct — her consistent off-field Cryo application, resistance shred, and healing all contribute directly to the reaction loop. She is now available for players who missed her original banner.
    • Skirk returns on the 7.1 Phase 2 banner (rerun): Skirk is a 5-star Cryo Sword main DPS who can slot into Stellar-Conduct teams as an alternative on-field Cryo carry when paired with Odette or Cryo Traveler as enabler.
    • Stardread Moon Spiral Abyss blessing: The 7.1 Blessing of the Abyssal Moon triggers shockwaves on Stellar-Conduct, Stellar Swirl, Superconduct, Cryo Swirl, Frozen, and Shatter damage. Stellar-Conduct teams benefit directly, and the first-half blessing also buffs all Stellar damage by 75%, making Sandrone and Odette especially effective this Abyss period.
    • Heart of the Furnace confirmed as default support set: The 4-piece Heart of the Furnace is the standard support artifact set for Stellar-Conduct and Stellar Swirl teams. One teammate in every Stellar-Conduct lineup should hold this set — typically Odette, Qiqi, or Escoffier.

What Is Stellar-Conduct In Genshin Impact?

Stellar-Conduct is one of the two Stellar Glimmer reactions added in Genshin Impact Version 7.0. It replaces ordinary Superconduct whenever a character with a Stellar Linchpin passive is present in the party. Without at least one enabler, Cryo + Electro will still produce regular Superconduct — not Stellar-Conduct.

When Stellar-Conduct triggers, the area around the enemy transforms into a Polestar Field. Every character who stands inside this field receives a bonus to their Cryo and Electro damage. The field persists on the battlefield and refreshes as you keep triggering the reaction, so sustained Cryo and Electro application directly rewards you with higher and higher damage uptime inside the field.

Unlike Stellar Swirl, Stellar-Conduct does not produce critical hits from the reaction itself. Instead, its value comes from the Polestar Field’s damage amplification — the more you build inside it and the more often you stay in it, the more your team’s Cryo and Electro attacks benefit. This makes sustained application and field presence the key skills for playing these teams.

Stellar-Conduct can also be triggered on enemies already affected by Electro-Charged or Lunar-Charged, which opens up interesting crossover options with other team archetypes.

Play Genshin Impact on the official website or download it on Android, iOS, PlayStation, Epic Games, or Xbox.

    How To Trigger Stellar-Conduct

Three conditions must be true simultaneously for Stellar-Conduct to fire:

    • A character with a Stellar Linchpin passive must be in the active party
    • An enemy must be affected by either Cryo or Electro
    • You apply the opposite element — Electro to a Cryo-marked enemy, or Cryo to an Electro-marked enemy

Enemies that naturally carry a Cryo or Electro aura are very convenient — applying the missing element alone is enough to trigger the reaction. Keeping both elements on the target at all times is the goal, since every Stellar-Conduct trigger refreshes the Polestar Field and extends the damage bonus window.

Stellar-Conduct Enablers — Who Can Enable The Reaction

As of Version 7.1, three characters carry the Stellar Linchpin passive that converts Superconduct into Stellar-Conduct. One of these must be in your party at all times for the reaction to work. Note that Vesna, added in 7.1, is a Stellar Linchpin character but her Anemo Linchpin enables Stellar Swirl — not Stellar-Conduct. The Stellar-Conduct enabler pool is unchanged from 7.0.

    Odette (Best Enabler)

Odette is the 5-star Cryo sword character from the Version 7.0 banner and the strongest enabler for Stellar-Conduct teams. Her Solo Dance Double mechanic applies continuous off-field Cryo without needing field time, which means she keeps the reaction running even while your main DPS is on-field dealing damage. On top of enabling, she also buffs the entire party’s Stellar-Conduct damage output and deals her own meaningful Stellar damage. Running Odette gives you enabling, off-field Cryo, team buffs, and personal damage — all from one slot.

    Cryo Traveler (Best Free Option)

The Cryo Traveler is every player’s free Stellar Linchpin. Simply resonating with Cryo at a Snezhnaya Statue of the Seven unlocks the Traveler’s Cryo form and the Stellar Linchpin passive that comes with it. The Cryo Traveler works as both an on-field DPS with the Exaiphanes Blade and as an off-field Burst DPS. For any player who does not own Odette or Sandrone, the Cryo Traveler is the backbone of every Stellar-Conduct team.

    Sandrone (On-Field DPS Enabler)

Sandrone is an on-field Cryo DPS who enables Stellar-Conduct through her kit and directly benefits from the Polestar Field she creates. She is the best main DPS in Stellar-Conduct and her talent description updated in 7.0 to reference Stellar Glimmer broadly — meaning she enables and deals damage with both Stellar-Conduct and Stellar Swirl. She wants to stay on-field, which means your off-field Cryo application depends on Odette, Qiqi, or Escoffier when Sandrone is your driver. If both Stellar reactions are present in a team, Sandrone always prioritizes Stellar-Conduct.

Best Cryo Characters For Stellar-Conduct Teams

The Cryo slot provides the element that reacts with Electro. Your enabler fills this role, but pairing them with a second Cryo character adds Cryo Resonance (15% CRIT Rate for the whole team) and more consistent aura uptime for triggering the reaction.

    • Odette — Best enabler and off-field Cryo source. Buffs Stellar-Conduct, enables the reaction, and deals her own Stellar damage. No other Cryo character comes close for Stellar-Conduct value.
    • Cryo Traveler — Free, flexible, and fully capable of enabling and dealing Stellar-Conduct damage both on and off the field.
    • Sandrone — Best on-field Cryo DPS. Enables the reaction and scales directly off Stellar-Conduct. The top main DPS choice for the reaction.
    • Escoffier (7.1 rerun — now widely available): A 5-star Cryo Polearm off-field support who applies Cryo consistently, shreds Cryo and Hydro resistance, and heals the party. Escoffier is one of Sandrone’s best support slots in Stellar-Conduct teams and fits into Wriothesley lineups as well. Her RES shred and healing are active without field time, making her an efficient fourth slot. Available on the Phase 2 banner for players who missed her original release.
    • Qiqi — Qiqi is a Standard Banner healer who provides consistent off-field Cryo and healing, buffs Stellar-Conduct, and completes Cryo Resonance. Her C6 gives the team extra Stellar-Conduct buffs. See our Qiqi Stellar Conduct build guide for the optimal setup.
    • Skirk (7.1 rerun): A 5-star Cryo Sword main DPS who can serve as the on-field Cryo carry in Stellar-Conduct teams when paired with Odette or Cryo Traveler as enabler. Available on the Phase 2 banner.
    • Wriothesley — Wriothesley is a self-sustaining Cryo main DPS whose kit directly interacts with Stellar-Conduct. He is significantly stronger in Stellar-Conduct than in Melt or Freeze. Strong alternative to Sandrone for players who own him.
    • Diona — Diona at C6 buffs both Stellar-Conduct and Stellar Swirl through her Elemental Mastery sharing passive inside her Burst field. She also shields and heals. Great budget support pick.
    • Shenhe — Shenhe boosts team Cryo damage and reduces enemy Cryo resistance. Strong when paired with a Cryo DPS like Sandrone or Wriothesley.
    • Ganyu — Ganyu works as both on-field and off-field Cryo, increases team Cryo damage, and adds Cryo Resonance as the second Cryo body.
    • Kamisato Ayaka — Ayaka can slot in as the on-field Cryo DPS when paired with an off-field enabler like Odette or Cryo Traveler.
    • Freminet — Freminet applies Cryo on-field and adds Cryo Resonance. A budget Cryo DPS option when other picks are not available.

Best Electro Characters For Stellar-Conduct Teams

The Electro slot provides the second element for the reaction. Off-field Electro characters are preferred in most comps since they free up field time for the main DPS. The faster and more consistently they apply Electro, the more often the Polestar Field refreshes.

    • Yae Miko — Yae Miko is the top Electro pick for Stellar-Conduct by a wide margin. Her Sesshou Sakura turrets apply Electro reliably off-field throughout the entire rotation. Her C1 gives the whole team a 50% Electro and Stellar-Conduct DMG Bonus every time the reaction fires — an enormous passive benefit for any team she is in. See our Yae Miko Stellar Conduct build for the full breakdown.
    • Cyno — Cyno is an on-field Electro DPS who received major buffs in Version 6.7 to directly scale with Stellar-Conduct. He enters the Radiance: Stellar-Conduct state inside a Polestar Field, causing his Duststalker Bolts to deal Stellar-Conduct damage. He works as the main DPS when paired with off-field Cryo enablers like Odette and Qiqi. Check our Cyno Stellar Conduct build guide for his best setup.
    • Alyosha — The free 4-star Electro Polearm character from the Everwinter Without Mercy Archon Quest. Alyosha is purpose-built for Stellar-Conduct — he buffs the team’s ATK%, buffs Stellar-Conduct damage output, heals the active character, and applies off-field Electro through his Burst. He is the best support piece in Stellar-Conduct teams and accessible to every player.
    • Beidou — Beidou applies off-field Electro through her Burst, reduces enemy Electro and Cryo resistance, and shields. Her C6 “Radiance: Stellar-Conduct” buff now correctly applies its Elemental Mastery bonus after the 7.1 bug fix — players running her at C6 in Stellar-Conduct teams should re-evaluate her contribution, as it is higher than pre-7.1 tests showed.
    • Fischl — Fischl provides reliable off-field Electro through Oz, buffs team ATK%, and adds Elemental Mastery. A strong budget option and the best off-field Electro pick for F2P rosters.
    • Kuki Shinobu — Kuki Shinobu applies Electro off-field and heals the active character continuously. A comfort pick for players who need sustain and Electro application from one slot.
    • Sethos — Sethos applies Electro on-field and buffs team Elemental Mastery. Works as a secondary DPS option in comps where the Cryo character handles the off-field role.
    • Razor — Razor is a more accessible on-field Electro DPS option for newer players building their first Stellar-Conduct team.

    Team Roles In Stellar-Conduct Comps

Every Stellar-Conduct team follows the same four-slot structure. Understanding each role lets you swap characters freely without breaking the reaction loop.

    • Enabler (required): Odette, Cryo Traveler, or Sandrone. One must always be present. Without an enabler, Cryo + Electro is just regular Superconduct. Vesna does not fill this role for Stellar-Conduct.
    • Main DPS / Driver: The character who stays on the field. Usually either the Cryo or Electro character. Sandrone, Cyno, Wriothesley, Skirk, Cryo Traveler, or Ayaka.
    • Off-Field Enabler: Applies the missing element from off the field to keep the reaction cycling. Odette, Yae Miko, Fischl, Qiqi, Escoffier, or Alyosha.
    • Flex Support: Healing, shielding, Elemental Mastery buffs, or resistance shred. Alyosha, Escoffier, Qiqi, Diona, Shenhe, or Sucrose. One teammate in this slot should ideally hold the Heart of the Furnace 4-piece set for the Stellar reaction team buff.

Either the Cryo or the Electro character takes the main DPS role — the other fills the off-field slot. The most natural pairing is a Cryo main DPS with off-field Electro (Yae Miko or Fischl), since most of the strongest Cryo DPS characters in Version 7.0 are built to stay on the field.

    Best Stellar-Conduct Team Compositions

Team 1 — Sandrone Premium (Best Overall)

Sandrone / Odette / Yae Miko / Alyosha

The strongest Stellar-Conduct team in Version 7.0 and still the best overall in 7.1. Sandrone drives on-field, enabling and dealing Stellar-Conduct damage simultaneously. Odette applies consistent off-field Cryo through her Dance Double and buffs the whole team’s Stellar damage. Yae Miko’s Sesshou Sakura turrets provide persistent off-field Electro, and her C1 grants 50% Electro and Stellar-Conduct DMG Bonus every time the reaction fires. Alyosha supports with ATK% buffs, Stellar-Conduct damage buffs, and healing. Every character in this lineup has a direct synergy with the reaction — nothing is wasted. If you own Escoffier, she can replace Alyosha as the flex support, adding Cryo and Hydro RES shred on top of healing.

Team 2 — Sandrone With Escoffier (7.1 Premium Alternative)

Sandrone / Odette / Yae Miko / Escoffier

With Escoffier now available on the 7.1 Phase 2 rerun banner, she slots into Sandrone’s best team as an alternative flex support. Escoffier applies off-field Cryo, shreds Cryo and Hydro resistance, and heals the party — all without field time. This replaces Alyosha’s ATK% buff and Stellar-Conduct damage buff with resistance shred, shifting the team’s damage ceiling slightly depending on your specific gear. The standard rotation is Yae Miko three Skills, Odette two Skills and her Enhanced Skill, Escoffier Skill for Cryo application, then Sandrone’s main combo. Sandrone’s teams require only Cryo and Hydro characters to fully enable Escoffier’s resistance shred passive, so this lineup satisfies that condition.

    Team 3 — Cyno Core

Cyno / Odette / Yae Miko / Qiqi

Cyno is the on-field main DPS after his Version 6.7 Stellar-Conduct buffs, entering the Radiance: Stellar-Conduct state inside the Polestar Field to deal direct Stellar-Conduct damage through his Duststalker Bolts. Odette enables the reaction and applies off-field Cryo. Yae Miko handles off-field Electro and boosts Stellar-Conduct damage at C1. Qiqi rounds out the team with healing and additional off-field Cryo, completing Cryo Resonance for a free 15% CRIT Rate boost. This team maintains the Polestar Field almost permanently. See our Cyno Stellar Conduct build guide for his full artifact and weapon setup.

    Team 4 — Wriothesley Stellar-Conduct

Wriothesley / Odette / Yae Miko / Alyosha

Wriothesley takes the on-field DPS role with his self-sustain keeping him healthy without a dedicated healer. Inside the Polestar Field he gains the Radiance: Stellar-Conduct state, granting a Stellar-Conduct DMG bonus and converting his Normal Attacks 3 and 5, his Enhanced Charged Attack, and other abilities to deal Stellar-Conduct damage. Odette enables and applies off-field Cryo. Yae Miko provides off-field Electro and her C1 Stellar-Conduct bonus. Alyosha fills the support slot with ATK% buffs and Stellar-Conduct damage amplification. If you own Escoffier, she can replace Alyosha here for resistance shred and healing, though fitting her into Wriothesley’s team is harder than into Sandrone’s.

    Team 5 — Cryo Traveler F2P

    Cryo Traveler / Fischl / Diona (C6) / Alyosha

A fully accessible Stellar-Conduct team that requires no limited 5-star characters. Cryo Traveler enables the reaction and serves as the main DPS with the Exaiphanes Blade. Fischl provides off-field Electro through Oz and buffs team ATK%. Diona at C6 shares Elemental Mastery with the team and heals, while also completing Cryo Resonance. Alyosha supports with Stellar-Conduct buffs, ATK% buffs, and additional healing. This lineup performs well in all standard content and provides a strong foundation to upgrade as you pull new characters.

Team 6 — Double Cryo Resonance

Sandrone / Odette / Yae Miko / Qiqi

This variant prioritizes Cryo Resonance by running both Sandrone and Odette as the two Cryo characters, giving the whole team a 15% CRIT Rate boost on top of all the Stellar-Conduct buffs. Yae Miko handles off-field Electro and the C1 bonus. Qiqi covers healing and adds a third source of Cryo for consistency. The CRIT Rate from Resonance directly strengthens Sandrone’s personal damage inside the Polestar Field.

    Team 7 — Cyno F2P Budget

Cyno / Cryo Traveler / Fischl / Alyosha

A budget Cyno team that still triggers Stellar-Conduct reliably. Cryo Traveler enables the reaction and applies Cryo with its Elemental Skill and Burst. Fischl handles off-field Electro through Oz. Alyosha supports with ATK% and Stellar-Conduct buffs while healing. This team has no 5-star requirements beyond Cyno himself and functions well across standard domains and Spiral Abyss floors.

Stellar-Conduct Vs Stellar Swirl — Which Should You Build?

Both reactions use the same enablers — Odette, Sandrone, and Cryo Traveler — so you do not have to choose one permanently. The difference is in the second element and the DPS you want to run.

Stellar-Conduct uses Cryo + Electro and creates the Polestar Field. It is the better option when your main DPS is an Electro character like Cyno, or when you want to run Sandrone or Wriothesley as the Cryo driver. Stellar Swirl uses Cryo + Anemo and creates the Stellar Vortex. It is stronger when your main DPS is an Anemo driver like Mizuki or Vesna, and it has the additional advantage of CRIT scaling on the Vortex itself.

In Version 7.1 the most efficient approach is to run one Stellar-Conduct team and one Stellar Swirl team in the same Spiral Abyss clear, since the Stardread Moon blessing buffs both equally. See our best Stellar Swirl teams guide for full Anemo comp details.

    Tips For Playing Stellar-Conduct Teams

    • Stay inside the Polestar Field — the damage bonus only applies while your character is inside it. Positioning matters more in Stellar-Conduct than in almost any other reaction.
    • Sustain the reaction constantly — the Polestar Field refreshes with every new Stellar-Conduct trigger. Keep both Cryo and Electro on the target at all times to maximize uptime.
    • Use Alyosha in every team if you can — his ATK% buff and Stellar-Conduct DMG boost cost nothing in terms of field time and make a significant difference to every other character’s output.
    • Run Heart of the Furnace on one support — the 4-piece set is the standard Stellar-Conduct support set and should be on Odette, Qiqi, or Escoffier in every team. This is the direct way to amplify the Polestar Field’s buff for your whole team.
    • Cryo Resonance is free CRIT Rate — if your team has two Cryo characters, both the Cryo DPS and every other character get a 15% CRIT Rate buff passively. Always worth building toward.
    • Yae Miko C1 is a massive bonus — if you own Yae Miko at C1, her 50% Electro and Stellar-Conduct DMG Bonus for the whole team on every reaction trigger is one of the strongest passive buffs in the current meta.
    • Odette’s Dance Double keeps Cryo up — her off-field Cryo application is persistent and automatic. You do not need to manually rotate back to her for Cryo uptime once her Double is active.
    • Beidou C6 is worth reconsidering in 7.1 — her “Radiance: Stellar-Conduct” EM bonus was bugged pre-7.1 and is now fixed. If you have Beidou C6, test her in your Stellar-Conduct lineup — she may perform better than old benchmarks suggested.
    • Stellar-Conduct can trigger on enemies already in Electro-Charged or Lunar-Charged states — use this to layer reactions in multi-element teams where Hydro or other elements are also present.
