Alyosha best teams in Genshin Impact are built around one unbreakable rule: he cannot trigger Stellar-Conduct by himself, so every team he joins needs a Stellar Linchpin enabler. Alyosha is the free 4-star Electro Polearm character you receive during the Everwinter Without Mercy Archon Quest in Version 7.0. His kit covers off-field Electro application, team ATK% buffs, Stellar-Conduct damage buffs, and active character healing — all packed into one support slot. When the reaction is firing and his buffs are active, he is one of the best supports in the game for any Cryo or Electro DPS.
This guide covers every strong team for Alyosha — premium lineups, Electro DPS comps, Cryo DPS comps, and fully F2P options. For the full breakdown of Stellar-Conduct mechanics, see our best Stellar-Conduct teams guide. And if you are building a Stellar Swirl team alongside this one, check our best Stellar Swirl teams guide.

Alyosha Version 7.1 Update
Version 7.1 (A Rekviem for the Underworld, September 23, 2026) brought no changes to Alyosha’s kit. His abilities, constellations, and stat values are identical to their Version 7.0 release. The one change directly relevant to team building is that Alyosha is now available on the Wanderlust Invocation permanent standard banner, making constellation copies easier to accumulate passively over time.
The two new 7.1 characters — Vesna (5-star Anemo) and Vodyanitsa (5-star Hydro Catalyst) — are built around Stellar Swirl, not Stellar Conduct, and do not slot into Alyosha’s teams. Vesna’s premium lineup is Vesna / Odette / Cryo Traveler / Vodyanitsa. This means that if you are running both a Stellar Swirl team and a Stellar Conduct team in the same Spiral Abyss cycle, Odette and Cryo Traveler may be split between them — a real planning consideration for dual-team players.
Version 7.1 also fixed a bug where Beidou’s C6 Stellar-Conduct Elemental Mastery buff occasionally failed to apply. Beidou appears in both Team 3 and the F2P team below, so players using her will notice improved consistency from this fix.
Finally, Version 7.1’s sixth-anniversary rewards include two free 5-star character selectors — one awarded for completing the Archon Quest, one via login. Players who do not yet have Odette can use the Archon Quest selector on her, which significantly lowers the barrier to running any Alyosha Stellar-Conduct lineup.
Who Is Alyosha In Genshin Impact?
Alyosha is a 4-star Electro Polearm character introduced in Genshin Impact Version 7.0 as part of the Snezhnaya region launch. He is designed as a Stellar-Conduct support — a sub-DPS, buffer, and healer who operates almost entirely off the field. His kit revolves around a mechanic called Hunter’s Mark, which he applies to enemies and then activates to grant team-wide buffs. His companion Tugarin handles off-field Electro application and healing while Alyosha himself is off the field.
What makes Alyosha special for a 4-star is the range of things he does at once. In a single rotation, he applies Hunter’s Mark, grants ATK% to the whole party, increases Stellar-Conduct damage, applies off-field Electro through Tugarin, taunts enemies to protect squishier carries, and heals the active character every two seconds. No other character in Version 7.0 packs that many functions into one slot.

Alyosha’s Kit — What He Does
Understanding what Alyosha actually does makes it much easier to build a team around him. Here is a plain summary of his abilities:
Normal Attack
Alyosha performs up to four consecutive spear strikes. The final hit applies Hunter’s Mark to the enemy struck. This is not his primary way of applying the mark in practice — his Elemental Skill is far more reliable — but it is useful to know in a pinch.
Elemental Skill — Hunter’s Advance
Alyosha’s Elemental Skill is his main method of applying Hunter’s Mark. When he hits an enemy with the Skill, the mark is placed. Activating an existing Hunter’s Mark — either by Tugarin attacking it or through other means — triggers Hunter’s Precision, which grants all nearby party members an ATK% buff for 15 seconds. Inside a Polestar Field (created by Stellar-Conduct), this also increases all party members’ Stellar-Conduct DMG by 20% at base (25% at Ascension 2).
Elemental Burst — Hunter’s Stand
Alyosha’s Burst is his most important ability and the core of his kit. Casting it does several things simultaneously: it briefly transforms the area into a Thunder Hunting Ground that deals AoE Electro damage and taunts nearby enemies, and it summons Tugarin, his loyal hunting hound, who stays on the field for the duration. Tugarin attacks one enemy every two seconds, prioritizing enemies with Hunter’s Mark. Each of Tugarin’s attacks restores HP to the active character equal to 120% of Alyosha’s ATK. Because everything tied to Alyosha’s value flows through this Burst, Energy Recharge is his most important stat — building enough to Burst every rotation is non-negotiable.
Ascension Passives
Alyosha’s Ascension 2 passive increases his Skill and Burst damage by 0.35% per 1% of Energy Recharge he has — up to a 70% bonus. This rewards stacking ER beyond what you need for his rotation. His Ascension 4 passive, active inside a Polestar Field, boosts the Hunter’s Precision effect to also increase all nearby party members’ Stellar-Conduct damage by an additional 25%.
The One Rule For Every Alyosha Team
Alyosha’s entire kit is built around Stellar-Conduct, but he cannot trigger it himself. He needs a Stellar Linchpin character in the same party to convert Superconduct into Stellar-Conduct. As of Version 7.1, only three characters carry this passive:
- Odette — 5-star Cryo sword from the Version 7.0 banner. Best enabler overall. Applies off-field Cryo passively through her Dance Double, buffs the reaction, and deals Stellar damage. Players who did not pull Odette in 7.0 can use one of the two free 5-star anniversary selectors in Version 7.1 to obtain her.
- Sandrone — 5-star Cryo catalyst main DPS who enables as part of her on-field kit. The top Stellar-Conduct DPS character in 7.0. Note that Sandrone is also in demand for Stellar Swirl teams with Vesna in 7.1, so prioritize your Abyss team split accordingly.
- Cryo Traveler — Free for every player. The only F2P Stellar-Conduct enabler. Works both on-field and off-field depending on team needs. Also appears in Vesna’s premium Stellar Swirl lineup in 7.1, so dual-team Abyss players may need to choose which team gets Cryo Traveler each cycle.
One of these three must always be in Alyosha’s team. Without them, the Polestar Field never appears and Alyosha’s Stellar-Conduct buffs do nothing. The two new 7.1 characters, Vesna and Vodyanitsa, do not add a fourth enabler option — both are oriented around Stellar Swirl rather than Stellar Conduct.
Best Alyosha Teams In Genshin Impact
Team 1 — Premium Stellar-Conduct (Best Overall)
Alyosha / Sandrone / Odette / Yae Miko

This is the strongest team Alyosha can be placed in as of Version 7.1. Sandrone is the on-field main DPS who both enables Stellar-Conduct and deals direct Stellar-Conduct damage. Odette enables a second time while also applying off-field Cryo through her Dance Double and buffing the team’s Stellar reaction output. Yae Miko sits fully off-field and keeps Electro application consistent through her Sesshou Sakura turrets — her C1 also grants the whole team a 50% Electro and Stellar-Conduct DMG Bonus every time the reaction fires.
Alyosha barely touches the field. He uses his Elemental Skill to apply Hunter’s Mark, casts his Burst to summon Tugarin, then swaps out completely. From off-field, Tugarin handles the Electro application, activates Hunter’s Mark every two seconds, heals the active character on each hit, and keeps the Hunter’s Precision ATK buff and Stellar-Conduct buff rolling. The rotation then passes to Odette, Yae Miko, and Sandrone in turn. For Yae Miko’s full build in this team, see our Yae Miko Stellar Conduct build guide.
7.1 Abyss note: If you are running a Vesna Stellar Swirl team on the other side of Spiral Abyss, Sandrone and Odette are both needed there too. In that scenario, the Cryo Traveler + Beidou F2P core (Team 5 below) becomes the more practical Alyosha lineup for one half of Abyss.
Team 2 — Electro DPS Core
Alyosha / Cyno / Odette / Qiqi

Cyno takes the on-field main DPS role after his major Version 6.7 Stellar-Conduct buffs. He cannot enable the reaction himself, so Odette fills the enabler slot while also providing off-field Cryo and buffing the reaction. Qiqi handles healing and adds a second Cryo body to trigger Cryo Resonance, giving the whole team a free 15% CRIT Rate boost. Alyosha provides ATK% buffs, Stellar-Conduct damage buffs, and additional off-field Electro through Tugarin while Cyno holds the field during his extended Burst window.
The main thing to plan around in this team is Cyno’s Burst energy. He needs the team to refill his Elemental Energy while he is in his enhanced state — build enough Energy Recharge on Cyno or use Yae Miko over Qiqi if energy is a consistent problem. See our full Cyno Stellar Conduct build guide for the complete stat and artifact setup.
Team 3 — Cryo DPS Core
Alyosha / Wriothesley / Odette / Beidou
Wriothesley is a Cryo main DPS with self-sustain built into his kit, which makes him forgiving to play since he does not rely on Alyosha’s healing as heavily as other carries do. Odette enables Stellar-Conduct and provides off-field Cryo. Beidou adds off-field Electro through her Burst, reduces enemy Electro and Cryo resistance, and provides some shield utility. Alyosha handles the ATK% buff, Stellar-Conduct damage boost, and Tugarin’s healing and Electro support.
One thing to keep in mind: Wriothesley’s kit has a self-healing HP mechanic that is affected by how much HP he has. Alyosha’s healing from Tugarin can sometimes top him up before his own mechanic triggers as intended. Most players simply accept the healing rather than skipping Alyosha’s Burst, since dropping the Burst also removes his ATK buff, Stellar-Conduct buff, and Electro application — a bigger loss than the HP timing nuance.
7.1 note: A Version 7.1 bug fix corrected Beidou’s C6 Stellar-Conduct EM buff occasionally failing to apply. Players running Beidou at C6 in this team will see more consistent damage numbers after the patch.
Team 4 — Sandrone + Odette Double Enabler
Alyosha / Sandrone / Odette / Qiqi
A variation of Team 1 that swaps Yae Miko for Qiqi, adding more healing and completing Cryo Resonance. This team is slightly less aggressive in its Electro application than the Yae Miko version, but it is more forgiving to play and the Cryo Resonance CRIT Rate bonus offsets some of the lost Electro sub-DPS damage. Qiqi also buffs Stellar-Conduct and Stellar Swirl through her kit, adding a small but meaningful reaction damage boost on top of her healing. If you want full details on building Qiqi for this role, our Qiqi Stellar Conduct build guide has everything.
Team 5 — F2P Budget Team (No Limited 5-Stars)
Alyosha / Cryo Traveler / Beidou / Diona
A fully free-to-play Stellar-Conduct team that requires no limited 5-star characters. Cryo Traveler is the only free Stellar-Conduct enabler and serves as the main on-field DPS, applying Cryo with the Elemental Skill and Burst while staying on-field to deal damage. The Cryo Traveler paired with the Exaiphanes Blade has strong personal damage for a free unit. Beidou provides off-field Electro through her Burst and reduces enemy resistance — and as of Version 7.1, her C6 Stellar-Conduct EM buff applies reliably following the bug fix. Diona at C6 buffs the team’s Elemental Mastery inside her Burst field, adds healing, shields the team, and completes Cryo Resonance. Alyosha fills the fourth slot with ATK% buffs, Stellar-Conduct damage buffs, and Tugarin’s healing.
A second budget variant swaps Diona for Fischl and adds a third element like Sucrose for Hexerei buff access. This version sacrifices some healing for more consistent off-field Electro and lets the team trigger both Stellar-Conduct and Stellar Swirl in the same rotation while Cryo Traveler stays on-field.
7.1 Abyss note: In Version 7.1, Cryo Traveler is also a strong pick for Vesna’s Stellar Swirl team. F2P players running both team types simultaneously will need to place Cryo Traveler on one side and use a different Stellar-Conduct enabler on the other — or run both Stellar teams on the same half. Plan your Abyss setup accordingly before the reset.
Team 6 — Alyosha Outside Stellar-Conduct
Alyosha + any ATK-scaling DPS + Electro/Pyro enabler + flex
Alyosha’s ATK% buff and off-field Electro are still useful outside of Stellar-Conduct, even though that is not where he shines most. He works in Overload teams (Electro + Pyro) and Electro-Charged teams (Electro + Hydro) when a DPS wants consistent off-field Electro and utility without caring about the Polestar Field. He can slot alongside ATK-scaling carries like Raiden Shogun, Arlecchino, or Clorinde. These lineups are less optimized than his Stellar-Conduct builds, but they are worth knowing for flexible Abyss usage — particularly in 7.1 when premium Stellar-Conduct enablers may be committed to Vesna’s team on the other half.
Why Constellation 6 Changes Everything
Alyosha is functional at C0 but his early constellations are incremental. C6 (Standard Reclaimed) is the real milestone that transforms him from a solid support into one of the best 4-star supports in the game.
- C0 base buffs: ATK +25% and Stellar-Conduct DMG +20% from Hunter’s Precision (single stack)
- C6 upgraded buffs: Hunter’s Precision can now stack twice — doubling to ATK +50% and Stellar-Conduct DMG +40%. He also grants the active character +100 Elemental Mastery at two stacks, which directly feeds reaction damage scaling and boosts Vortex power in any team running Stellar Swirl alongside Stellar-Conduct
The notable early constellations worth picking up along the way are C1 — which restores 15 Elemental Energy when nearby party members trigger an Electro-related reaction (dramatically reducing his Energy Recharge requirements) — and C2, which extends his Burst duration by 6 seconds and lets Tugarin apply Hunter’s Mark before each attack, improving consistency against multi-target content.
As of Version 7.1, Alyosha is available on the permanent Wanderlust Invocation standard banner, making constellation farming more accessible. C6 is now obtainable through the standard wish pool at any time, without waiting for an event banner rerun.
Alyosha Team Building Tips
- Always use Skill before Burst in rotation — Hunter’s Mark needs to be on the enemy before Tugarin attacks it to get the activation and the buffs. Skill first, then Burst, then swap.
- Stack Energy Recharge as the top priority — his Burst is where all his value lives. Missing a Burst rotation means missing ATK buffs, Stellar-Conduct buffs, Electro application, and healing simultaneously.
- At C2, you can Burst before Skill — Tugarin applies Hunter’s Mark before each attack at C2, so the order becomes more flexible. This lets you funnel Elemental Particles to a teammate before swapping.
- He does not need field time — Skill, Burst, swap. That is the full rotation. Do not keep Alyosha on-field after his Burst animation ends.
- His taunt from Tugarin is genuinely useful — in content where enemies target your squishy DPS, Tugarin’s aggro-drawing keeps the main DPS alive without needing a dedicated shielder.
- Pair with Yae Miko for best Electro coverage — Alyosha’s off-field Electro from Tugarin alone is not always consistent enough for high-level content. Yae Miko as a second Electro source covers the gaps.
- Plan for Abyss enabler splits in 7.1 — Vesna’s Stellar Swirl team and Alyosha’s Stellar Conduct team both compete for Odette, Sandrone, and Cryo Traveler. Map out which enabler each half gets before building your teams for the current cycle.
