There are 74 Frostfairy Flowers in Snezhnaya during Version 7.0, spread across Tidesong Cavern, Svetloledovka, the area south of Central Station, Snezhnograd, Pilgrimage to the Sacred Gorge, and the Sanctuary of Grief. Frostfairy Flower in Genshin Impact

Frostfairy Flower is a Snezhnaya local specialty material used to ascend Odette in Genshin Impact. Frostfairy Flowers are blue, ice-like blooms found on the areas surrounding Snezhnograd and White Birch Snowgrave. They look like glowing pale-blue flowers sitting low to the ground and are fairly easy to spot against the white snow once you know what to look for. Like all local specialties, they do not appear on your map automatically — you need to use the Item Tracker or put the right characters in your party to see them marked.

Frostfairy Flowers cannot be found in the first region, Sretomorozsk, but far deeper into the areas of Central Station, the main city of Snezhnograd, and Pilgrimage to the Sacred Gorge. If you are still in the early parts of the Archon Quest, push further into the region before trying to farm.

How Many Frostfairy Flowers Do You Need

To fully build Odette in Genshin Impact, you’ll need to get her to level 90, and to do so, you’ll need to collect 168 Frostfairy Flowers from the Snezhnaya region. This will be the case with other Snezhnaya characters in the future, too.

Once you clear all 74 flowers from the open world, they respawn in the same spots after 48 hours in real time. Because a single harvest falls well short of the 168 needed for full ascension, plan on repeating the routes over several days. You will need at least three full runs of the complete route, with a two-day wait between each one. Start farming early if you want Odette fully built quickly.

Best Character to Use While Farming Frostfairy Flowers

It is recommended to keep Alyosha, a free 4-star unit in your party, while you’re going through a farming route. His passive allows nearby resources to appear on the mini-map. Simply progress through the “Everwinter Without Mercy” Archon Quest past the prologue, and you will get a copy of Alyosha for free.

Odette and Alyosha’s passives display the location of nearby specialties unique to Snezhnaya on the mini-map. Either character works, but since Alyosha is free and available early in the Archon Quest, most players will have him unlocked before they start farming in earnest. Having him active takes the guesswork out of finding each cluster.

You can also use the Item Tracker in your inventory to locate Frostfairy Flower nodes. Press “Go Collect” and the item will appear on the map in blue circles, showing the total amount available in each location.

All Frostfairy Flower Locations in Snezhnaya

Location 1 — Tidesong Cavern (Fellfrost Peak)

The last cluster of Frostfairy Flowers can be found underground, in the Tidesong Cavern, in the southeastern portion of Snezhnaya. To reach it, fast travel to the Tidesong Cavern south-west waypoint. Move north-east between the two slopes. Enter the crack in the ground, using your glider. Follow the path of the Cavern of Melodic Tides and collect the three Frostfairy Flowers around the Meeting Point: Tidesong Cavern.

This is the smallest cluster — only about 3 flowers — but it sits along the route for Fellfrost Peak exploration and is easy to grab while doing other quests in the area. If you are working through the House of Hesperides challenges or quests in the nearby House of the Soulless area, swing through Tidesong Cavern on the same trip.

Location 2 — Svetloledovka (Fellfrost Peak)

Teleport to any of the three waypoints near Svetloledovka, then make for the small peak in the middle of the glacial area. The flowers cluster around that rise, and Alyosha’s markers will guide you to each bunch.

Svetloledovka is the mining town in the eastern part of Snezhnaya. The Frostfairy Flowers here are scattered around the glacial terrain surrounding the town rather than inside the settlement itself. Use the talent book domain waypoint nearby and head north to pick them up efficiently.

Location 3 — South of Central Station (Volkodlak Tundra)

Teleport to the waypoint on the tracks south of the main Central Station, then head west along the map. The flowers sit east of the railway line, a short walk from the drop-in point. Southeast of the Central Station is a small concentration of Frostfairy Flowers, and to the west of the train tracks between Rankova Zorya and the Central Station are a few more nodes to farm.

This is another smaller cluster, but it lies between two teleport points on the train line, making it quick to grab without much detour. Collect these while passing through on your way between Snezhnograd and the southern zones.

Location 4 — Snezhnograd and Korolevskiy Theater (Everfrozen Earth)

Snezhnograd is the largest single farming zone for Frostfairy Flowers. There are around 23 Frostfairy Flowers in Snezhnograd, mostly found in the scattered planters around the city. However, five of them are found on top of a roof north-west of the Snezhnaya Adventure’s Guild in Genshin Impact.

Teleport to the Snezhnograd Statue of the Seven, then collect the six Frostfairy Flowers around it. Next, fast travel to Korolevskiy Theater and collect five more Frostfairy Flowers from the planters there.

With roughly 23 flowers spread across the city and theater, Snezhnograd is the single most productive stop on the entire farming route. Make sure to check rooftops — the cluster northwest of the Adventurer’s Guild is on top of a building and is easy to miss if you stay at ground level.

Location 5 — Pilgrimage to the Sacred Gorge (White Birch Snowgrave)

Direct your attention to the right side of the map, on an area named Pilgrimage to the Sacred Gorge. You can either teleport to the Statue of the Seven, or any waypoint surrounding the area, and pick up the flowers by following the icons shown by Alyosha on the mini-map.

Follow the farm route from the southern teleport of the Pilgrimage to the Sacred Gorge and go north to the Statue of the Seven. The flowers here are spread along the pilgrimage path going northward. This is the same area as the fourth Snezhnaya Shrine of Depths, so you can open that shrine and collect flowers in the same run if you have a key on you. Location 6 — Sanctuary of Grief (White Birch Snowgrave)

The Sanctuary of Grief grows about 14 Frostfairy Flowers within it. To get them all, teleport to the Sanctuary of Grief waypoint and climb up the stairs leading towards Signora’s Tomb. Grab the flowers as you go along with the Pyro Crystalflies.

The Sanctuary of Grief is one of the densest single clusters in the entire region at roughly 14 flowers, making it a must-hit on every farming run. You’ll find a large cluster of Frostfairy Flowers inside and on the path to the Sanctuary of Grief. The path up the stairs is linear and the flowers are hard to miss as you climb. This is typically the final stop on a north-to-south or south-to-north farming route through White Birch Snowgrave.

Best Frostfairy Flower Farm Route

The most time-efficient way to clear all 74 flowers is to move through the zones in a single loop rather than jumping randomly between them. Here is the recommended route:

• Start: Tidesong Cavern — collect the 3 underground flowers near the Meeting Point
• Stop 2: Svetloledovka — teleport to a nearby waypoint and collect flowers around the glacial peak
• Stop 3: South of Central Station — grab the small clusters east of the railway line
• Stop 4: Snezhnograd — work through the city planters and rooftops (~23 flowers including the Korolevskiy Theater)
• Stop 5: Pilgrimage to the Sacred Gorge — teleport to the southern waypoint and follow the path north to the Statue of the Seven
• Finish: Sanctuary of Grief — teleport in and climb the stairs to collect the ~14 flowers on the way up

To start farming, it’s best to go from north to south. That said, either direction works — the important thing is not skipping any zone. Using Alyosha’s mini-map markers removes any guesswork about which nodes you have missed in each area.

Frostfairy Flower Respawn Time

Frostfairy Flower resets exactly 48 hours after you collect them. Relog the game or teleport from the farthest waypoint and check the location once more to see it spawn.

This means you can run the full route every two days. Since 74 flowers per run falls short of the 168 needed for a full ascension, you will need to run the route at least three times total — or find extras through Co-op. To speed things along, join another Traveler’s world in Co-op and pick their flowers too, which lets you gather beyond your own world’s daily supply.

Other Ways to Get Frostfairy Flowers

• Co-op: Visit another player’s world and collect their Frostfairy Flowers. Their world runs on a separate respawn timer from yours. Make sure to let the host know before you start picking.
• Seed Dispensary gadget: You can equip the Seed Dispensary gadget to obtain Frostfairy Flower seeds and plant them in the teapot to gain more per plant. This is a slow but steady supplemental source that does not require real-time waiting.
• Item Tracker: Use the in-game Item Tracker to mark all Frostfairy Flower nodes on your map. Select the item in your inventory and press “Go Collect” to see every available node highlighted.

Which Characters Use Frostfairy Flower

As of Version 7.0, Odette is the primary character that requires Frostfairy Flowers for ascension. She needs 168 total to reach Level 90. Future Snezhnayan characters are also expected to use this material as the region expands in later updates, so it is worth farming extras now while you are already running the route.
