    TL;DR

    • Furiosa is found in Everfrozen Earth, northwest of the Scars of Cursed Obsession domain near Snezhnograd’s Central Station.
    • She uses two special moves: burrowing underground (one Hindering Root) and Arrow Shower (two Hindering Roots).
    • Destroy the Hindering Roots by hitting them — no specific elemental reaction is needed.
    • All three objectives can be cleared with any well-built team — no Stellar-Conduct required.
    • Completing all three objectives earns 60 Primogems total — 20 per task.
    • She is the most beginner-friendly of the three Snezhnaya Local Legends.

Furiosa Local Legend in Genshin Impact is one of three Local Legends introduced in Version 7.0 as part of the Snezhnaya Valiant Chronicles. She is located in Everfrozen Earth near Snezhnograd and is the most forgiving of the three legends — unlike Banje, she does not require a Stellar-Conduct team to clear her objectives. Any strong party can complete all three tasks in a single fight. This guide covers where to find Furiosa, how to reach her arena, how to beat her, and how to clear all three Valiant Chronicles objectives for the full 60 Primogems. For a complete overview of all three Snezhnaya Local Legends, see our All Local Legends in Snezhnaya guide.

    Who Is Furiosa?

Furiosa is a Volkodlak archer who once nearly lost her life. After undergoing alchemical modification, her body’s strength surpassed the limits of living beings and she gained a measure of authority over trees. She was meant to cast off her former body entirely and fully transform into a life-form beyond time — one closer to eternity. But at the final moment, she chose to abandon that path. Because of that choice, her body remains in a permanent state as though it has been parasitized by trees. She uses that bond with nature as a weapon, calling on roots to protect herself and strike at enemies during battle.

Furiosa doubles as a World Quest boss, so players who have explored Snezhnaya’s story content may already recognize her from an earlier encounter. When you face her as a Local Legend, the mechanics are the same but the objectives are what matter most.

Where to Find Furiosa in Genshin Impact

genshin impact snezhnaya local legend furiosa location

Furiosa is located in the Everfrozen Earth zone of Snezhnaya, in an open clearing near Snezhnograd. Getting to her is straightforward once you know the landmark to use. Here is how to reach her:

    • Open your map and find the Scars of Cursed Obsession domain. This domain sits directly beneath Snezhnograd’s Central Station.
    • Head to the area just northwest of that domain.
    • Walk past the train wreck in the area.
    • Furiosa is standing in the open clearing just beyond it, ready to fight any challenger who approaches.

Her arena is in open terrain with no underground descent required, making her one of the easiest Local Legends to reach repeatedly. Unlike Banje, there is no complex path to navigate.

How to Unlock Furiosa in the Valiant Chronicles

Like the other Snezhnaya Local Legends, Furiosa is tracked through the Snezhnaya Valiant Chronicles system. Visit Katheryne at the Adventurer’s Guild after entering Snezhnaya. You need to be at least Adventure Rank 55 to access the Valiant Chronicles. Once you register, Furiosa’s location is pinned directly on your map alongside her three objectives, so you can navigate to her without guessing. You can track which objectives you have completed at any time from the Valiant Chronicles menu.

    How to Beat Furiosa

Furiosa is an archer who relies on long-range attacks and constantly repositions around the arena. Her hits are dangerous and can knock out characters quickly, so bring a solid healer or shielder. The core of the fight revolves around one mechanic: the Hindering Roots she summons from the ground.

    Understanding the Hindering Roots

During the fight, Furiosa uses one of two special moves. Both involve Hindering Roots and are the key to clearing her objectives.

    • Move 1 – Burrow: Furiosa spawns one Hindering Root and dives underground. She resurfaces very quickly, so you need to move to the root and destroy it fast before she comes back up.
    • Move 2 – Arrow Shower: Furiosa spawns two Hindering Roots and charges up a barrage of arrows. She takes longer to fire this move, giving you more time — but you must aim your attacks manually at the roots. Do not let auto-aim lock onto Furiosa herself instead of the roots.

Destroying any Hindering Root is simple — just hit it with any attack. No specific element or reaction is required. The type of damage does not matter. Only the timing does. When you destroy the roots, Furiosa is briefly stunned. Use that window to unleash your full damage rotation while she cannot fight back.

    General Combat Tips

    • Furiosa’s hits can be deadly, so always bring a shielder like Zhongli or Diona, or a healer like Qiqi or Sangonomiya Kokomi.
    • Stay mobile and avoid standing still during her normal arrow attacks.
    • When you see her start to burrow, immediately run to the root’s position and destroy it before she resurfaces.
    • During Arrow Shower, switch your camera to manually target the two roots rather than relying on auto-aim, which tends to lock onto Furiosa.
    • Save your burst damage for after the stun window — that is your safest and highest-damage opportunity in each cycle.

    All Three Furiosa Objectives

Each objective earns 20 Primogems when completed. Because both interrupt objectives use the same basic mechanic — destroying Hindering Roots — you can work toward all three in the same fight.

    • Objective 1 – Defeat Furiosa: Bring her HP to zero. This always registers as long as you win the fight and is the baseline requirement.
    • Objective 2 – Interrupt the Arrow Shower: When Furiosa spawns two Hindering Roots and begins charging her Arrow Shower, destroy both roots before the barrage fires. This interrupts the move and completes the objective.
    • Objective 3 – Interrupt the Burrow: When Furiosa spawns one Hindering Root and dives underground, destroy that root before she resurfaces. You must be fast — she comes back up quickly. Clearing the root in time interrupts her burrow and completes the objective.

    Total Primogems from Furiosa: 60

Both interrupt objectives can be cleared in the same run since Furiosa will use both special moves multiple times during the fight. Focus on one interrupt at a time and watch the on-screen objective tracker to confirm when each one registers. If a bonus objective does not clear after an attempt, it almost always means the interrupt window closed before the root was destroyed. Re-enter the fight and hit the root sooner.

    Best Team for Furiosa

Furiosa is the most flexible of the three Snezhnaya Local Legends. Her objectives do not lock you into any specific reaction or team type. Bring your strongest overall damage dealers alongside a healer or shielder to survive her hits. Some good choices to consider:

    • DPS options: Hu Tao, Arlecchino, Neuvillette, Raiden Shogun, Kaedehara Kazuha
    • Healers and shielders: Zhongli, Diona, Qiqi, Bennett, Furina

The most important thing is that your team can survive her damage output and burst fast enough to fully punish each stun window after breaking a root. There is no team composition requirement beyond that.

What Happens If You Miss an Objective?

Furiosa respawns every daily server reset, just like all other Local Legends. If you miss one of the interrupt objectives in a run — either because the root was not destroyed in time or auto-aim locked onto Furiosa instead — you can come back the next day and try again. Objectives already completed stay marked in the Valiant Chronicles, so you only need to focus on the ones still outstanding. Because her arena is in the open overworld and easy to return to, retry attempts are fast.

Tips for Completing All Three Objectives in One Run

    • Watch for which move she uses. One root means burrow, two roots mean Arrow Shower. React accordingly.
    • Move toward the root the moment you see it appear. For the burrow move especially, every second counts.
    • Manually aim at the roots during Arrow Shower. Auto-aim will frequently target Furiosa instead, wasting precious time. Adjust your camera to lock onto the roots directly.
    • Destroy the stun window, then deal damage. Do not blow your burst rotation on Furiosa while she is moving freely. Wait for the stun, then go all in.
    • Do not rush the defeat. Let her use both special moves at least once each before finishing her off, so both interrupt objectives can register.

    Other Snezhnaya Local Legends

Furiosa is one of three Local Legends in Snezhnaya’s Valiant Chronicles. The other two are Banje in Svetloledovka and Churin in Fellfrost Peak. Each one has three objectives worth 20 Primogems each, totaling 180 Primogems across all nine tasks. See the full rundown in our All Local Legends in Snezhnaya guide. For the Banje fight specifically, read our dedicated Banje Local Legend guide — that one requires a Stellar-Conduct team and is more mechanically demanding than Furiosa.

While exploring Snezhnaya around Snezhnograd and Everfrozen Earth, there is plenty of other content to complete. Check out the Golden Hall Teleport Waypoint guide and the How to Explore the Facility Interior guide for exploration help in the area. For Fellfrost Peak content, see the House of Hesperides challenges guide, the Yarina Prime Ice Construct Quest, and Vershina’s Kitchen Challenge for extra chests and rewards. You can also complete the Prism Slime and Mushteshir challenges for 120 additional Primogems from their achievements. If you are building strong characters for the Snezhnaya Local Legends, the Odette ascension and talent materials guide is useful for Stellar-Conduct team planning.

Genshin Impact is free to play on PC and mobile, Android, iOS, PlayStation, Epic Games Store, and Xbox.
