Vershina’s Challenge in Genshin Impact is a short but rewarding observation mini-game found inside the House of Hesperides. She stands near the kitchen in the northwest corner of the Mountain Mansion Front Hall and asks you to watch the Jack Frosts in the kitchen before testing your memory with four questions. Answer them correctly and you walk away with a Common Chest, an Exquisite Chest, and a Precious Chest. This guide has every correct answer so you never have to guess. How to Access the House of Hesperides
Before you can reach Vershina, you need to get inside the Mountain Mansion. The House of Hesperides is locked by default. You must obtain an Invitation to the “Ritual” by progressing through the Hesperides of Love and Hate world quest chain in Snezhnaya. You also need to have completed Archon Quest Prologue: Act III and unlocked Snezhnaya by finishing Gunfire in the Silent Lands. Once you have the invitation, head to Fellfrost Peak and enter the mansion. The Mountain Mansion Front Hall is the main floor where most challenges take place.

Where to Find Vershina
Once you are inside the Mountain Mansion Front Hall, walk to the northwest corner of the main floor. Vershina stands right next to the kitchen entrance. She will be easy to spot because she is waiting near the door. Approach and talk to her to start the Jack Frosts in the Kitchen challenge. She will unlock the kitchen door and tell you to go inside and observe the Jack Frosts before she starts asking questions.
How to Complete the Jack Frosts in the Kitchen Quest
The challenge has four questions in total. A chest spawns beside Vershina each time you answer correctly. The rewards get better as you go. If no chest appears after your reply, you picked the wrong option. Use the correct answers below and the chests will appear one by one.
Step 1: Enter the Kitchen and Observe the Jack Frosts
Go through the door Vershina unlocks and walk into the kitchen. Look around carefully. You will see several Jack Frosts inside doing different things. Some are wearing chef hats, some are lying down asleep, and the rest are moving around. Try to count how many are wearing chef hats and how many are sleeping. There is also a soup on the stove and ingredient details nearby. After looking around, go back to Vershina to begin answering her questions.
Step 2: Answer Question 1 – Chef Hats
Vershina asks how many Jack Frosts you saw wearing chef hats in the kitchen.

Select Three and a Common Chest will appear next to her. Open it before moving on.
Step 3: Answer Question 2 – Sleeping Jack Frosts
Next, Vershina asks how many Jack Frosts you saw lying down asleep in the kitchen.

- Reward: Exquisite Chest
Select Five and an Exquisite Chest appears. After collecting it, Vershina will ask you to go back into the kitchen and investigate the marks on the floor before she continues with her next questions.
Step 4: Investigate the Marks in the Kitchen
Return to the kitchen and look for the marks on the floor or around the cooking area. Interact with them to inspect what the Jack Frosts left behind. This includes evidence of the soup they were cooking. Once you have investigated, walk back to Vershina to unlock the last two questions.
Step 5: Answer Question 3 – The Soup
Vershina then asks what you thought of the soup the Jack Frosts were making.
- Correct Answer: It looks dangerous
This answer is part of the final question set that together unlocks the Precious Chest.
Step 6: Answer Question 4 – The Ingredient
The last question asks what ingredient the Jack Frosts used in their soup.
