Where to Find the House of Healing in Crimson Desert
St. Halssius’s House of Healing is located on the southeastern side of Hernand, in the Howling Hill region. You’ll be sent here automatically once the Familiar Curses quest begins, which unlocks after completing Return of the Comrade and setting up your camp.

How to Enter the House of Healing
When you approach the entrance, three women will tell you that outsiders normally aren’t allowed inside. You have a few options to get past the guards.
Option 1: Sneak In for Free
The simplest method is to climb over the rooftops and sneak through the grass. Civilians can see you without issue, but guards will eject you if they spot you. Staying crouched keeps you hidden from enemy eyes. There’s no real penalty for getting caught either, you’ll just have to restart the approach.
Option 2: Buy the Halssius Outfit
A shady guard standing near the notice board on the east side of the entrance sells a full disguise for 10 silver. Wearing this outfit lets you walk through the House of Healing without being challenged.
Option 3: Buy a Visitor Pass
If you’re already in Hernand running errands, the priest at the church on the eastern side of the city sells a St. Halssius Visitor Pass for 10 silver. It works the same as the outfit, just from a different vendor.
Both paid options cost the same amount, so saving the silver and sneaking in is the better choice if you don’t mind a bit of stealth.
How to Find the Greymane Inside
Once inside, head toward the main building at the far end of the compound, the one with a crowd of people gathered outside. This is where you’ll find the Greymane.
Make your way to the second floor. The Greymane, Yann, is in the south wing hallway, fighting with patients. If you snuck in without a disguise, you can climb up through the windows from the inner courtyard to reach the second floor without being seen.
Once you reach Yann, he’ll attack you before running off, triggering the next part of the quest.
Tips for the Familiar Curses Quest
- Stay crouched at all times while sneaking to avoid detection
- Use rooftops to bypass patrol routes near the entrance
- Don’t worry about getting spotted by guards, there’s no real penalty beyond being sent back outside
- If you already bought the outfit for a different quest, reuse it here to save silver
