Where to Find Kittens in Crimson Desert
Kittens belong to the Cat pet family and can be found in most regions of Pywel, with the exception of the Crimson Desert region itself. There are two reliable spots where players have consistently found kittens.
Jijeong Temple, Serpent Marsh
One of the most consistent kitten spawns is at Jijeong Temple, located in the Serpent Marsh. To reach this area, head south of Demeniss. Keep in mind this location may not be accessible until later in the main story, around Chapter 9.
Pororin Village
Another reliable spot is near the back of Pororin Village, close to a cluster of pots. This area is also home to other cat variants, including short-haired and long-haired cats, making it a great stop if you’re hunting for multiple feline companions at once.
Kitten Favorite Food
Like other cats in Crimson Desert, kittens respond best to fish and dairy. Their favorite foods include:
- Fish Fillet
- Milk
Feeding a kitten its favorite food gives a much bigger boost to trust compared to regular meat, which cats tend to ignore entirely.
How to Tame a Kitten
Taming a kitten follows the same process as taming any other cat in Crimson Desert:
- Approach the kitten slowly, since cats will run if you get too close
- Carry the kitten first by holding the carry button
- Place its favorite food on the ground before setting it down
- Pet the kitten and let it eat to raise its trust level
Repeating this process over a couple of in-game days will usually be enough to reach full trust and add the kitten to your pet collection.
Where to Buy Kitten Food
If you’re running low on Fish Fillet or Milk, both can usually be bought from grocers and fishmongers in Hernand. Stocking up before heading out to Jijeong Temple or Pororin Village will save you a return trip.
