Where to Find Huskies in Crimson Desert
Huskies are dog companions found in the colder regions of Pywel. The most reliable spot to find them is the village of Beighen, located in the Pailune region. Unlike some pets that spawn at a single fixed point, Huskies roam throughout the village, so you won’t need to search a specific corner, just head into Beighen and you’ll likely spot one wandering around.
Huskies can also occasionally be found near the Ridgehunter Tannery, north of Wayward Woods, and in colder areas around Kweiden and south of Scholastone in Hernand.
Husky Favorite Food
The Husky’s favorite food is Bird Meat, which grants +35 trust per feeding, the maximum amount possible. Other meats and prepared foods only give +10 trust, so Bird Meat is by far the most efficient choice.
If you don’t have Bird Meat on hand, Small Bones are a solid backup, giving +25 trust per feeding.
How to Tame a Husky Fast
Taming a Husky follows the same trust system as other dogs in Crimson Desert. You need to reach 100 trust total, which can be split between petting and feeding.
- Pet the Husky directly, this gives +5 trust per interaction, up to 5 times per day (+25 total)
- Feed it Bird Meat for +35 trust per feeding, up to 3 times per day
Doing the math: 5 pets (+25) plus 3 Bird Meat feedings (+35 each = +105) adds up to 130, well past the 100 needed. This means you can tame a Husky in a single visit, without needing to return the next day.
If you only have Small Bones, 3 feedings (+75) plus 5 pets (+25) gets you exactly to 100, so it still works in one day, just with less buffer.
Tips for Taming Huskies
- Stock up on at least 3 pieces of Bird Meat before heading to Beighen
- Feed the Husky in an isolated spot so other animals don’t eat the food first
- Petting and feeding limits reset at midnight in-game time, so sleep if you need another day
- If the Husky isn’t where you expect, save and reload, spawns are reliable most of the time
