Stuck on the Glenbright Manor basement puzzle in Crimson Desert? This guide walks you through finding both Golden Daggers, solving the crank wheel puzzle, and unlocking the hidden basement and its rewards.
- Glenbright Manor is located south of Glenbright Farm in Hernand Highlands

Where to Find Glenbright Manor
Glenbright Manor sits in the southern part of Hernand Highlands, just south of Glenbright Farm. You’ll pass through this area naturally during the Chapter 3 quest, but the puzzle itself is easy to miss since the main quest doesn’t require you to interact with any of the puzzle elements.

Finding the First Golden Dagger
After entering the manor, head upstairs to the second floor. The first Golden Dagger is mounted on a wall frame near the top of the stairs, simply walk up and pick it up.
Solving the Crank Wheel Puzzle
To the left of the marble statue on the second floor, you’ll find a closet. Open it to reveal a handwheel. This is the key to unlocking the second dagger.
Turn the handwheel all the way to the right. This rotates a chandelier light so that it shines directly onto the glass orb held by the marble statue. Once the light hits the orb correctly, panels on either side of the statue will lift, revealing two daggers resting on a shield underneath.
Approach each dagger and hold the interact button to pick them up.
Unlocking the Hidden Basement
With both Golden Daggers in hand, return to the main office, the room where you found the lone survivor during the Nonhuman quest. Look closely at the fireplace and you’ll see a plaque with two empty slots.
Place each Golden Dagger into the slots on either side of the plaque. This reveals a hidden bookshelf door that swings open, leading to a secret room with a ladder down to the basement.
Basement Rewards
Once you climb down into the basement, you’ll find several useful items:
- The Cloudcart Blueprint, needed to craft Cloudcart mounts later in the game
- Meliara’s Lesser Elixir recipe, which grants a small temporary boost to Max Health and Attack Speed
- A strongbox containing silver
- Various lesser elixirs and valuables scattered around the room
