The Sprite Mastery Pod is a Back Bling reward from Page 1 of the Chapter 7 Season 3 Battle Pass, tied to The Guardian outfit. It’s a small display case that shows off one of your collected Sprites behind glass, safely, so no other player can steal it off your back mid-match. It was originally called the Sprite Pod, then renamed to Sprite Mastery Pod with the v41.10 update.
Without claiming this pod, the Sprite Back Bling option won’t even show up in your locker. You have to own the Battle Pass and claim it before anything else on this page applies.
Why Sprites Show as Locked
If you already own a Sprite and it still shows locked in the pod, that’s expected. Owning a Sprite isn’t enough to display it. You need to bring it to Mastery Rank first, which means:
- Leveling that Sprite to Level 5 in a match, and
- Extracting it at an Extraction Site or with a Portable Extractor while it’s at Level 5.

What doesn’t carry over is the in-match strength. If you lose a mastered Sprite mid-run without extracting, it drops back to Level 1 in your inventory, but the mastered flag on your account stays intact. Every time you summon a mastered Sprite with Sprite Dust in a future match, it starts back at Level 1 and has to be leveled up again to hit full strength. Mastery unlocks the cosmetic and the reward track permanently. It doesn’t mean the Sprite walks into every future match already maxed out.
