All Mythics in Fortnite Runners — Complete List
- There are six Mythic items in Fortnite Runners Chapter 7 Season 3 at launch. Three come from boss fights, three from map activities.
- No Mythic is a 100% guaranteed drop. Every single one can fall as Legendary instead depending on RNG — including the activity-based ones.
- Boss Mythics: Mythic Reacher Extending Shotgun (Skeletor), Mythic Voidblade’s Burst Rifle (Voidblade), Mythic Wolfe’s Maven Auto Shotgun (Wolfe).

All Mythics in Fortnite Runners are spread across six activities — three boss encounters and three hidden map events. None are found in regular chests or floor loot. Each one requires a specific action, and none guarantee the Mythic tier on every attempt. This guide covers every Mythic in Chapter 7 Season 3, exactly where to go, and which ones are worth prioritising in your match rotation.
How Mythics Work in Fortnite Runners Chapter 7 Season 3
Mythic items in Chapter 7 Season 3 are not in the standard loot pool. You cannot find them in chests, Supply Drops, or floor spawns. Every Mythic requires a deliberate action — either defeating a specific boss or completing a map activity.
Crucially, none of them are guaranteed to drop at Mythic rarity. Every Mythic can roll as Legendary instead. This is consistent across boss drops and activity rewards. If you get the Legendary version, it is still a strong item — just not at Mythic power level. The Mythic drop rate improves with match modifiers, but Epic has not confirmed exact numbers.
Six Mythics are confirmed at launch. More are expected as the season progresses, particularly with the v41.10 update arriving June 25, 2026.
All Mythic Items in Fortnite Runners — By Acquisition Method
Boss Drop Mythics — Defeat Roaming Bosses
Three Mythics come from the three roaming boss NPCs on the Shattered Coast. All bosses share a pool of randomised spawn zones. None have fixed locations. They only appear after the first storm circle closes — not at match start. A red skull icon on your mini-map (not the full map) signals their presence within 200 metres.
Activity Mythics — Complete Map Events
Three Mythics come from specific map activities that any player can attempt without a boss fight. These are consistent, repeatable, and available from the start of every match.
Mythic 1: Reacher Extending Shotgun — Defeat Skeletor
How to get it: Find and defeat Skeletor on the Shattered Coast map.
Spawn zones: Calamari Canyon and surrounding areas (Collider Corridor, trees directly north of the POI) and Frosted Flats are the highest-probability locations. Additional confirmed zones include north of Heatwave Harbor, near the Extractor Point northeast of Calamari Canyon, the snowy stretch between Battlewoods and Wonkeeland, southwest of Latte Landing, west of Battlewoods, and the Extraction Site west of Golden Grove.
What it does: A Mythic shotgun based on the Extending Focus Shotgun. Fires a three-round volley where each shot tightens the pellet spread and extends effective range. The Mythic version deals higher damage and maintains accuracy at distances where standard shotguns fall off. Best suited for mid-range pressure rather than point-blank exchanges.
Skeletor combat tips: Stay at mid-range. His shotgun is dangerous close up. He can restore his own shields mid-fight by performing a staff emote — cannot heal health, only shields. Pour maximum sustained damage into him the moment the emote starts. He runs away on defeat; his loot drops where he was standing, not where he ends up. Grab it fast — the skull disappearing from nearby players’ mini-maps signals them to your location.
Bad RNG drop: Legendary Extending Focus Shotgun plus a Chug Jug, Self-Revive Device, or Big Shield Potion.

Mythic 2: Voidblade’s Burst Rifle — Defeat Voidblade
How to get it: Find and defeat Voidblade on the Shattered Coast map.
Spawn zones: Same shared pool as Skeletor and Wolfe — Calamari Canyon, Frosted Flats, Heatwave Harbor, and surrounding zones. Spawns only after the first storm circle closes.
What it does: A Mythic burst assault rifle with near-zero vertical recoil and improved ADS accuracy compared to the standard Surgical Burst Rifle. The ADS accuracy bonus makes it punishing at mid-range when you control the pace of a fight. Methodical, controlled players will get the most value out of this weapon.
Voidblade combat tips: She is an agile, verticality-focused boss. Her primary attack is a burst rifle at range. Her key mechanic is a high jump followed by a sword strike on landing — dangerous if you are caught underneath. Prioritise close-range high-DPS weapons (SMG or shotgun) to end the fight before she gets multiple jump cycles off. Move laterally and look up when she jumps. Sidestep right before she lands to avoid the sword strike radius.
Bad RNG drop: Legendary Surgical Burst Rifle plus a Chug Jug, Self-Revive Device, or Big Shield Potion.
Mythic 3: Wolfe’s Maven Auto Shotgun — Defeat Wolfe
How to get it: Find and defeat Wolfe on the Shattered Coast map.
Spawn zones: Same shared pool as Skeletor and Voidblade. Wolfe and Skeletor are the two bosses most frequently observed swapping zones between matches.
What it does: A Mythic automatic shotgun with a fast fire rate and forgiving pellet spread. Maintains solid effectiveness even when only a few pellets connect per shot. Considered the weakest of the three boss Mythics in the current meta, but still a strong early-match pickup if you need a close-range weapon.
Wolfe combat tips: Wolfe is the fastest and most unpredictable boss. He can teleport short distances, often appearing directly behind you. Never stand still. Keep sprinting, sliding, and using Seven Sliders to stay mobile. He also has a howl ability that notifies nearby players of your position — finish the fight fast. SMG plus a shotgun is the recommended counter to match his close-range aggression.
Bad RNG drop: Legendary Maven Auto Shotgun plus a Chug Jug, Self-Revive Device, or Big Shield Potion.

Mythic 4 and 5: Mythic Striker Pump Shotgun and Mythic Chaos Exploder Rifle — Duck Race at Heatwave Harbor
How to get them: Complete the Duck Race minigame at Heatwave Harbor.
Location: Head to the bridge on the northeastern edge of Heatwave Harbor — not the center of the POI. Four rubber ducks of different colours sit on the south side of the bridge waiting to be triggered.
How to complete it:
- Interact with the ducks on the bridge to start the race
- The ducks begin swimming downstream along the river through Heatwave Harbor
- Follow them. As they float down, they collide with three sets of boxes along the route, knocking loot loose at each collision — pick it all up as you follow
- Follow all the way to the finish line on the south side of Heatwave Harbor, where two cannons are positioned
- Once the ducks cross the finish line, the cannons fire and the best loot drops — including the Mythic Striker Pump Shotgun and Mythic Chaos Exploder Rifle
What the Striker Pump Shotgun does: Heavy close-range damage with high burst potential. Considered one of the best shotguns in the Chapter 7 Season 3 loot pool. Standard close-range meta pick for aggressive players.
What the Chaos Exploder Rifle does: The Dark Voyager’s heavy AR. Fires explosive cubes dealing both impact damage and area-of-effect splash. Punishes enemies who hide near cover or cluster together. One of the strongest weapons in the current meta. Many players consider it the best overall gun in Chapter 7 Season 3.
Additional loot from the Duck Race: Chug Jugs, Gold Bars, ammo, building materials, and a Rift-To-Go also drop across the route and at the finish line. Even if the Mythic Striker Pump does not appear, the Duck Race consistently delivers high-value loot.
Important: The Mythic Striker Pump Shotgun is not a guaranteed drop from the finish-line cannons. You can pull a Legendary Striker Pump instead. The Mythic Chaos Exploder Rifle drop is also subject to RNG.
Key advantages of the Duck Race: No boss fight required. No combat with guards. Available from the start of every match. Resets each game — it is a repeatable loot source you can build a landing route around. The cannon explosion is loud and visible, so expect nearby players to rotate toward Heatwave Harbor after the finish.
The Duck Race is the easiest and least contested Mythic unlock in Chapter 7 Season 3. If you want a strong weapon without hunting a roaming boss, this is your best consistent option.
Mythic 6: Limitless Seven Sliders — Sinister Strip Prison Cell
How to get them: Unlock the hidden prison cell at Sinister Strip and open the Rare Chests inside.
Location: Sinister Strip POI, south of the center of the Shattered Coast map. Find the building directly opposite the large Sprite hologram structure in the POI — it is a northeast building with a south-facing gate entrance.
How to unlock the cell:
- Enter the building and take the stairs all the way down to the basement
- At the bottom, find the Locked Prison Cell — the door is electrified and will not open by force
- Two thick red wires run from either side of the door. These are your breadcrumbs to the two security grids that power the lock
- Follow the left red wire — it leads to the North Prison Security Grid in the sewers nearby. Interact with the control box to deactivate it
- Return and follow the right red wire — it leads to the South Prison Security Grid on the opposite side of the sewer tunnel. Deactivate that one too
- Return to the locked cell. With both grids off, the electricity on the bars is gone and the door opens
- Inside: two Rare Chests and two Regular Chests
What the Limitless Seven Sliders do: The Limitless version functions identically to standard Seven Sliders — Power Slide for fast movement, ADS mid-slide to slow time for a shot, jet boost at the end of a slide. The key difference is that the Limitless variant has no overheat limit and no durability — it never runs out. Standard Seven Sliders degrade with heavy use and can be lost entirely when durability hits zero. The Limitless version removes that constraint entirely, making it one of the strongest mobility items in the game for rotation, zone escape, and mid-fight repositioning.
Bonus from the Rare Chests: The Rare Chests inside the cell also have an elevated chance to drop an Epic Vault Key. That key unlocks the Dark Voyager’s Vault inside Sinister Strip — one of eight vaults on the Shattered Coast — which contains additional high-value loot. This makes the prison cell one of the highest-density loot stops on the entire map if you get the key.
Important: The Limitless Seven Sliders are not guaranteed. The Rare Chests can drop a standard pair of Seven Sliders instead. The process takes roughly two minutes if you move efficiently through the sewer tunnels.
Sinister Strip is a competitive drop location. The prison building also sits near where John Wick’s Dog can spawn (see Mythic 7 below). Combining both objectives in the same drop makes Sinister Strip one of the highest-value landing spots in Chapter 7 Season 3 — but expect heavy player traffic. Clear the area before attempting the sewer puzzle.
Mythic 7: 9mm Baba Yaga Pistol — Rescue John Wick’s Dog
How to get it: Find John Wick’s Dog on the Shattered Coast map, defeat the guards, open the cage, and pet the dog.
Dog spawn locations: Two possible spots, one per match at random.
- Sinister Strip: Main casino building at the south-center of the POI. Look for the large Dark Voyager rock statue outside the entrance. The dog’s cage is in the main lobby in front of the grand staircase.
- Battlewoods sewers: Underground beneath the Battlewoods POI. Enter via the river running alongside the area. Three entry tunnels: eastern wall, north-facing, or southern entrance via the east side of the Golden Reel movie theater. Follow the barking once inside.
What to do: Eliminate the guards around the cage (approximately five total across both locations — they have weak aim), open the cage, then immediately pet the freed dog. Petting the dog triggers a full health and shield restore plus the weapon drop.
What the 9mm Baba Yaga does: Mythic semi-automatic pistol — the Mythic version of the Lancehead Pistol. 21-round magazine, high damage, fast fire rate. When you reload near an enemy, the spent magazine is automatically thrown at them for bonus damage. Features Checkpoint Reload (interrupted reloads resume, not reset), Tactical Reload (partial-magazine reloads are faster than dry reloads), ADS while reloading, and reload while sprinting.
Bonus: Petting the dog restores full health AND shields instantly — useful at any point in the match regardless of whether the Mythic drops. If someone else already freed the dog before you arrive, you can still walk up and pet the freed dog to claim the rewards.
Battle Pass unlock: First time petting the dog unlocks the Dog (Pen & Ink) sidekick cosmetic if you own the Chapter 7 Season 3 Battle Pass.
Important: The Mythic 9mm Baba Yaga is not a guaranteed drop. On bad RNG, a Legendary Lancehead Pistol drops instead.

All Fortnite Runners Mythics Ranked — Which Is Worth Going For First
With six Mythics available and limited time per match to collect them, knowing which ones to prioritise matters.
Tier 1 — Easiest to Get, Consistently High Value
Duck Race (Heatwave Harbor): No combat. No puzzle. Takes two minutes. Drops two potential Mythics per run plus a full haul of supporting loot. Resets every match. The Mythic Chaos Exploder Rifle from the finish line is widely considered the best weapon in Chapter 7 Season 3. This is the most efficient Mythic route in the game right now.
Tier 2 — Puzzle Required, Very High Reward
Sinister Strip Prison Cell (Limitless Seven Sliders): Takes two minutes if you know the route. The Limitless Seven Sliders are the strongest mobility item in the season for sustained use. The bonus Vault Key drop adds further value. The main risk is player competition at Sinister Strip.
John Wick’s Dog (9mm Baba Yaga): Guard fight required but enemies have weak aim. Full health and shield restore is guaranteed regardless of Mythic RNG. The Sinister Strip dog location overlaps with the prison cell route, making it possible to combine both in the same drop.
Tier 3 — Boss Fight Required, RNG Dependent
Skeletor (Reacher Extending Shotgun): Highest boss DPS to deal with. Strong Mythic if it drops. Pair with a vehicle sweep of Calamari Canyon and Frosted Flats for efficiency.
Voidblade (Voidblade’s Burst Rifle): The best of the boss Mythics for controlled mid-range play. Requires knowing the jump-and-sword pattern to fight efficiently.
Wolfe (Wolfe’s Maven Auto Shotgun): Hardest boss to track due to teleporting. Weakest of the three boss Mythics in the current meta. Worth picking up if encountered, but not worth making your primary objective over the Duck Race or the Sinister Strip cell.
Fortnite Runners Mythics Coming Later in Season 3
Epic has confirmed additional content arriving during the season. Several items expected mid-season may add new Mythics to the list:
- Bank Shot Pistol: Not yet in the loot pool. Ricochets bullets off surfaces. No confirmation of a Mythic version but likely given the season pattern.
- Shock Rocks: New movement item arriving later. Grants three mid-air jumps when crushed.
- Additional bosses: Epic confirmed more bosses will be added as the season progresses, each expected to bring new Mythic weapon drops.
- v41.10 update (June 25, 2026): New Sprites, weapons, and storyline developments confirmed. Additional Mythics expected.

- Mythic Limitless Seven Sliders: Sinister Strip prison cell. North building opposite the Sprite hologram. Deactivate two security grids in the sewers, open the cell, loot Rare Chests. Also drops Epic Vault Key.
