He is not standing or wandering — he is immobile and unconscious, kept stable by the recovery chamber.
How to get to Jonesy at Shaken Sanctuary
Drop directly onto Shaken Sanctuary from the Battle Bus. Once you land, head into the main building and move toward the south wing. Look for Rival Hope inside — she is your landmark. Jonesy is in the healing tank right behind her position.

Wish for a Speedy Recovery — the hidden Jonesy quest
Interacting with Jonesy completes a hidden quest called Wish for a Speedy Recovery. This rewards you with 10,000 XP instantly. It is one of the easiest free XP grabs available in 2026 and most players walk right past it.
The quest is one-time only. You complete it once and the XP is yours — there is no need to visit Jonesy again in future matches. Do it early in the season and move on.

Why is Jonesy in a healing tank in Fortnite Runners
Jonesy ended up in that tank because of what happened at the end of the Shattered live event that closed Chapter 7 Season 2. During the event, Jonesy caught a glimpse of Geno’s true face underneath The Visitor’s helmet. Geno shot him immediately to stop that information from spreading, then had him pushed off a cliff.
Hope found him before he died and placed him in the recovery chamber at Shaken Sanctuary. He survived, but he is in bad shape. The squad is watching over him — and that includes Geno, still wearing The Visitor’s disguise, standing right there in the same location. Nobody in the room knows what Geno did except Jonesy, who is currently unconscious.
