What Are Police Stations in MW4 DMZ?

Police Stations are fixed landmarks scattered across the Hajin Exclusion Zone in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ. They are some of the most consistently useful buildings on the map — every one of them holds military-grade loot, and the locked armories inside contain weapon manuals and blueprints that are harder to find elsewhere.

They also appear in early DMZ Orders, which means you will likely be heading to one within your first few deployments. Knowing where each one sits before you land gives you a head start on both looting and completing objectives quickly.

There are five Police Stations in total in MW4 DMZ, all on the Hajin map. They are easy to spot on the Tac-Map — look for the white police badge icon. In the world, look for blue-painted buildings marked with Korean and English signage reading “POLICE STATION.”

All 5 Police Station Locations in MW4 DMZ

All five Police Stations are in fixed positions. They do not move between matches, so once you learn the locations you can head straight to the nearest one every deployment.

Police Station 1 — Revolution Dam (Grid D2)

Revolution Dam sits in the northern part of Hajin, along the river border. The Police Station here is one of two on the map that has a locked Police Station Armory in the basement, beside the holding cells and a caged armory counter. If you have the Police Station Armory Key with you, this is one of the two places you can use it.

The station has multiple rooms to clear, a rooftop that offers a strong overwatch position across the surrounding area, and a good supply of military containers throughout the building. Threat level in this area is relatively lower compared to the southern half of Hajin, making it a reasonable early-match stop.

    Map coordinates: x: 1643, y: 1523

    Police Station 2 — Cheongun Village (Grid C4 / F5)

Cheongun Village is located near the northern Russian border of the map. The Police Station here sits in the northwest section of the village. Like all stations, it has multiple rooms to clear, rooftop access for overwatch, and a locked armory inside.

The village itself is medium threat. Enemy soldiers patrol both inside and around the building. Because this station sits close to the Russian border crossing, it can see additional player traffic from squads moving between the border area and the main Hajin City zone. Approach carefully if it is early in the match.

    Map coordinates: x: 2086, y: 1916

Police Station 3 — Pyonghwa Village (Grid C6)

Pyonghwa Village is located southwest of the 14th Political Prison in the northwest quadrant of Hajin. This Police Station is the other one with a confirmed Police Station Armory in the basement. The armory door sits beside the holding cells and caged counter on the lower floor, marked with the prompt “POLICE STATION ARMORY – UNLOCK.” Opening it awards 300 XP and access to the loot inside.

The station sign outside reads “보안성 · POLICE STATION” in Korean and English. Enter through the glass front doors and take the main stairs down to the basement to reach the armory. The basement contains a Basic Weapons Locker and a military bag when you use the key.

    Map coordinates: x: 1426, y: 2058

Police Station 4 — NuriGO Mall (Grid H5)

This Police Station is located just outside NuriGO Mall, north of The Grid POI in eastern Hajin City. It sits above ground in the mall district — separate from the underground sections where Operation Shopping Hacks takes place.

NuriGO Mall is a High threat zone, which means this station sees heavy enemy and player activity. It is one of the busiest Police Stations on the map, particularly early in a match. The loot quality is strong here, but expect competition from other squads. Clear the building systematically before spending time looting containers.

If you are running the Operation Shopping Hacks story mission, this Police Station is right nearby and can be looted as part of the same deployment efficiently.

    Map coordinates: x: 2677, y: 2322

Police Station 5 — Wolves Stadium (Grid G7)

The Wolves Stadium Police Station is located directly east of Wolves Stadium and south of The Grid, in south-central Hajin City. This is the station associated with the Police Weapon Depository key — a separate locked room from the standard armory, found in an auxiliary police armory north of this station in the G7 grid area.

The surrounding streets contain shops, apartments, and additional points of interest. Like other stations in the Hajin City core, this one sits in a medium-to-high threat area. The rooftop offers a solid overwatch position over the surrounding streets, which is useful both for defense while looting and for scouting other player movement.

How to Find a Police Station on the Tac-Map

Police Stations use a fixed, permanent icon on the Hajin Tac-Map. Open your map in-match and look for the white police badge symbol. These do not rotate or move between matches — once you know the five locations, you can navigate to any of them without checking the map again.

In the game world, Police Stations are always blue-painted buildings. They stand out from the surrounding architecture and are typically multi-story. Most have a rooftop accessible by interior staircase that gives you line of sight over the area outside.

What to Expect Inside Each Police Station

Every Police Station in MW4 DMZ follows a similar layout — multiple rooms on the ground floor and upper floors, a staircase up to a rooftop, and a locked armory somewhere in the building (in the basement for the confirmed stations at Revolution Dam and Pyonghwa Village).

What you can find inside any Police Station:

    • Armor plates and plate carriers
    • Weapons and ammunition scattered through offices and holding areas
    • Military-grade loot containers across multiple rooms
    • The Armory Key on the top floor (in a single-desk room — first come, first served)
    • Cash and miscellaneous gear useful for FOB purchases

What the locked Armory adds (key required):

    • A Basic Weapons Locker with higher-tier items
    • Military bags with crafting materials and equipment
    • Weapon Manuals — one of the best reasons to unlock a Police Station Armory. Extracting with a Weapon Manual unlocks that weapon permanently at your FOB Gunsmith.
    • Weapon Blueprints — usable once and lost if you do not extract with them

The loot in the open station is good. The loot behind the armory door is better. If you find the Armory Key before another squad does, using it before you extract is always worth the time.

How to Get the Police Station Armory Key in MW4 DMZ

The Armory Key you need for the basement doors at Revolution Dam and Pyonghwa Village can be found in two main ways:

Option 1 — Find it inside any Police Station. The key spawns on the top floor of any Police Station, on a table in a room with a single desk. It is not guaranteed to be there — if another squad has already cleared the station that match, the key will be gone. This is the most common way to find one early in a deployment.

Option 2 — Earn it through progression. The Police Station Key is listed as a reward in the Level 19 Recon Equipment Kit, which you unlock through DMZ player level progression. This gives you a more reliable route to the key the further you advance in DMZ.

There is also a separate key called the Police Weapon Depository, which opens an auxiliary armory north of the Wolves Stadium Police Station in the G7 grid area. This is a different room from the standard Police Station Armory doors at Revolution Dam and Pyonghwa Village.

For a full breakdown of how DMZ progression and level unlocks work, see the MW4 DMZ XP and all level unlocks guide.

How to Complete the Hostile Force DMZ Order at a Police Station

The Hostile Force Order is the first objective on page 2 of the Counterfeit chapter in DMZ Orders. It sends you directly to a Police Station. Here is exactly what you need to do:

    • Locate and Enter a Police Station — Completed automatically when you walk through the door of any marked station.
    • Search 3 Containers in a Police Station — Open any three loot containers inside the building. Desks, lockers, and military bags all count. You do not need to reach the armory for this.
    • Eliminate 5 Soldiers While Inside a Police Station — Kill five enemy soldiers while you are physically inside the building. Soldiers both inside and patrolling just outside the entrance count, but kills made at distance or in a different building do not.

You do not need the Armory Key to complete Hostile Force. All three objectives can be handled in the main building without unlocking the basement armory. If you happen to find the key while searching containers, use it for bonus loot — but it is not required to tick the Order off.

Any of the five Police Stations on the map works for Hostile Force. Pick whichever is closest to your deployment point or the one in the safest threat zone if you are playing cautiously.

Tips for Looting Police Stations Safely

Police Stations are popular. Because they appear in early DMZ Orders and hold reliable loot, multiple squads will often target the same one in a given match. Here is how to make the most of a station visit without getting caught off guard.

    • Check the rooftop first. Clearing the roof gives you an overwatch position over the approaches to the building. If another squad is pushing toward the station, you will see them coming.
    • Clear room by room, not corner to corner. Police Stations have multiple small rooms and blind corners. Move through them methodically rather than rushing to the armory. Getting ambushed mid-loot costs you everything you already picked up.
    • Listen for footsteps. Other players will make noise moving through the building. If you hear someone above or below you, stop looting and reposition before they find you.
    • Go for the top-floor desk early. The Armory Key spawns there. If you want it, head upstairs before the ground floor loot. Another squad that finds it first will access the armory before you can.
    • Do not stay too long. Police Stations are well-known targets. After clearing the building and grabbing the key loot, consider moving on rather than sitting inside waiting for others to push you.
    • Use the Thermal Padding Trait if you have it. Staying off UAVs while looting a busy station significantly reduces the chance of getting pinged by another squad before you are ready for a fight. See the MW4 DMZ Operator Traits guide for more on Trait builds.

Police Stations and Weapon Manuals — Why They Matter

Police Stations are one of the best places to find Weapon Manuals in MW4 DMZ. A Weapon Manual is an item that, when extracted successfully, permanently unlocks that weapon at your FOB Gunsmith. You can then buy and build it between deployments.

This makes Police Stations particularly valuable early in your DMZ progression when your weapon roster is limited. Looting a station, finding a manual, and extracting safely is one of the fastest routes to expanding the weapons you have available for future runs.

Weapon Blueprints can also drop from Police Station loot. These are usable once in a match and are lost if you die without extracting. They come pre-built with a set of attachments and cannot be customized, but they give you access to a fully kitted weapon for a single deployment.

For a guide on unlocking all weapons in MW4, see the how to unlock all COD Modern Warfare 4 weapons guide.

What does the Police Station Armory Key open in MW4 DMZ?

The Police Station Armory Key opens the locked basement armory at the Revolution Dam and Pyonghwa Village Police Stations. Inside you will find a Basic Weapons Locker and a military bag containing higher-tier loot, including potential Weapon Manuals.

Where does the Armory Key spawn inside a Police Station?
